The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 360 - You’re not a dragon

Chapter 360: 360 - You’re not a dragon

"Ugh..." Qingyi stood up with a grunt, clenching his fists before looking around.

At first, he believed he had been led into some kind of illusion, an identical projection of his body.

But by activating his draconic eyes and observing the lines of Qi that swirled around the false sky above, he realized: they were inside the golden dragon statue.

That was a spatial distortion, similar to the one used by spatial rings, but at a much higher magnitude than even the most powerful immortal sky formation masters were capable of creating.

Qingyi continued to study those lines of Qi for a brief moment before closing his eyes, feeling a subtle headache coming on.

He still couldn’t understand something so complex.

After a moment, he started walking, a little aimlessly at first, but soon gained direction when a powerful pulse of Qi spread throughout the miniature world.

It had been less than ten minutes since the competition began, but the first flag had already been found.

With a smooth movement, Qingyi leapt above the trees, seeing a single beam of red light rising into the sky, reaching its limits and spreading out.

All around him, he saw dozens of Qi surging, all heading in the same direction, meeting in a sea of violent explosions which, after a few moments, calmed down completely.

"I suspect..." Qingyi turned his face slightly, but in the end, just activated the lightning blink, his body turning into lightning, maneuvering easily through the dense forest until he reached a flat spot.

Trees and even the grass had been ripped from the ground by a violent explosion.

In its center, two flags were stuck in the ground.

Despite the sounds of battle he heard, there was no sign of combat apart from the huge explosion.

Not a drop of blood, not a sword mark.

Qingyi calmly walked over to one of the flags, raising his hand to take it, a gentle smile taking over his lips as he watched the way the Qi beneath his feet moved.

The moment his hand came within two centimeters of the flag, he suddenly stopped.

With one smooth thrust, his body went into the air.

"Damn you!" In the next moment, the ground beneath him gave way, revealing an enormous jaw.

Sharp teeth closed just before meeting Qingyi’s feet, the huge jaw slowly crumbling into the air, revealing a young man with reptilian eyes and features.

His skin was covered in tiny scales, his jaw human, although a little more elongated than normal.

The moment Qingyi’s feet hit the ground, another explosion of Qi echoed, this time from the forest.

The enormous image of a wild boar appeared, rushing towards him at an absurd speed, its tusks glowing a golden brown.

Qingyi didn’t dodge this time, he didn’t even draw his heaven-defying thunder sword, he just punched.

A boar beastman and a crocodile beastman.

It was an interesting duo, but unfortunately for them, their cultivation of the early stage of the False Immortal realm was simply incapable of comparing to Qingyi.

Qingyi’s punch hit the boar’s snout with terrifying power.

The ground beneath the projection’s feet cracked for dozens of meters, its dense fur breaking into thousands of tiny fragments of light that soon revealed a tall, burly young man.

Like the young crocodile and Linyue, he was almost entirely human, with only a few sharp hairs around his face and a nose not unlike that of a pig.

"Fuck..." He grunted, falling to his knees and vomiting blood. Raising his head, he begged: "M-mercy, this little one failed to recognize the-"

Qingyi barely gave the young boar time to finish speaking, just raising his right leg and kicking, sending him flying like a cannonball towards the forest.

"You can leave now, little Xue. I was honestly more interested in breaking all your brother’s bones, but since you’ve prepared this little gift for me..."

Qingyi laughed and, after a few moments, more than ten figures from different races appeared from the forest.

There was even a young cat among them.

"L-little Xue? Don’t you dare call me that!" A hate-filled roar echoed from the young man in the center, Long Xuefeng.

His face was distorted into a deep scowl and his clothes were stained with blood.

Apparently, Qingyi’s kick had been accurate.

"And I didn’t prepare this for you, you arrogant bastard, you were just unlucky enough to fall into my trap, so stay here and die!" Xuefeng roared, drawing his sword and swinging it towards Qingyi, a powerful slash of mana tearing through the skies.

It had only been a few weeks since he and Qingyi had last exchanged blows, so Xuefeng didn’t believe that Qingyi could be much stronger than before; only a little weaker than himself.

With Xuefeng having eleven False Immortal realm talents at his side, what could Qingyi do?

"Well," Qingyi took a single step forward, easily parrying Xuefeng’s attack with a heaven-defying thunder sword slash.

he advanced at a frightening speed, closing the distance between them in the blink of an eye.

Xuefeng even tried to react, but Qingyi simply gave him no time, moving his hands and grabbing Xuefeng’s wrists, squeezing until a loud snap followed by a heartbreaking scream echoed out.

Xuefeng’s beautiful eyes were filled with deep shock as his sword slipped out of his hands, the bones in his wrist being reduced to nothing but ground flour.

Even if he hadn’t had time to protect his body properly, he was still a dragon, his body should have been powerful enough to withstand that.

"I know what you’re thinking..." Qingyi smiled, a strange arrogance taking over his heart.

"You’re not a dragon, you’re a shabby, cheap copy of a race you’re not even capable of understanding, a filthy, worthless worm, just like your brother."

Grabbing Xuefeng’s jaw, Qingyi showed no mercy.

A brutal sound of tearing flesh and breaking bones echoed as he pulled down, Xuefeng’s screams becoming nothing more than a bloody gurgle, his face unrecognizable, his jaw ripped open as high as his chest.

Qingyi pushed him to the ground, piercing his heart with the heaven-defying sword of thunder and destroying his soul.

"’Scram, pigs." Qingyi snarled, and the young men accompanying Xuefeng fled, stumbling over their own steps, their faces filled with the deepest despair.

"Ah..." Qingyi exhaled, turning his face slightly.
