The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 425 - Water

Chapter 425: 425 - Water

Qingyi quickly raised the affinities of all the new elements of his spiritual root to 1500. His understanding exploded, and with it, his control.

With a soft sigh, he opened his status screen.

The list was much longer than before, but Qingyi barely paid attention to it. He just glanced briefly at his lust point balance before focusing his mind again.

Improving his affinities had cost much more than expected, and when he looked at the price of the pills needed to bring them up to level two thousand, Qingyi couldn’t help but sigh in defeat.

In the end, he simply left the meditation room, chose a random direction, and flew nonstop, looking for a suitable place to start training his new skills.

Of course, much of this training would be done in his sea of mind, where time passed much more slowly than in the outside world. However, Qingyi still wanted a free place to test this power in reality.

After a few hours of searching, Qingyi finally interrupted his flight, landing in a deep valley surrounded by hills and mountains.

Spreading his Qi senses, he found that there were no humans within a radius of several kilometers.

With a smooth movement, Qingyi landed, immediately assuming a cross-legged position.

He entered his sea of mind, feeling the usual pleasant sensation of that warm, shallow water at his feet.

He also felt the warmth of his own Dantian, now taken over by three other types of Qi.

Qingyi wanted to train them all, but for now, he forced himself to focus only on spatial Qi.

He didn’t want to end up being torn apart by this energy when trying to use it in battle and being unable to control it efficiently.

Qingyi closed his eyes, calming his mind. He felt his long black hair flutter in the fake but pleasant breeze of that endless water world.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes, calling upon his spatial Qi and pointing it toward the water.

His vision distorted, and all the water in the place he pointed at was swallowed up. However, before it could even be sent elsewhere, Qingyi’s Qi collapsed again, causing the water to explode in violent waves.

"Shit..." He grunted, trying again.

This time, he was a little more successful; a single drop of water, small and tenuous, was able to pass through the spatial distortion before collapsing.

Qingyi sighed in disappointment, but he did not lose heart, continuing to train.

After all, he still had many days of training there before anyone would even notice his absence.

During the first day, Qingyi focused only on water. He quickly increased the amount of liquid he could transport and the time he could keep the spatial distortion open.

Honestly, it was a hellish process.

He was only able to use that ability efficiently by keeping his draconic mind active, correcting any minor spatial flaws.

Still, Qingyi couldn’t help but get more and more excited with each new breakthrough. Soon, he was able to keep those portals open for long seconds.

Then, he stopped moving only water. He also started testing with spears and swords, throwing them and using his spatial Qi to change their places and trajectories, creating unique and unpredictable patterns.

Only after a week of training was Qingyi finally able to send his entire body through one of these spatial folds.

It was similar to teleportation talismans, but here he had complete control over everything.

His body was swallowed by a deep darkness, taken to an unknown plane, and then reappeared at the chosen location.

Unable to suppress his excitement, Qingyi devoted the last twelve days to training his overall combat strength and efficiently combining all those elements.

And so, after nineteen days of training, Qingyi finally left the sea of the mind.

He was immediately greeted by the gentle midday breeze and the weight of birds perched on his body.

Qingyi did not scare them away immediately. He rose lightly, giving them time to fly away before drawing the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword.

He chose a point in the emptiness and used the fourth form of the Stormy Monarch Sword Art.

This time, he did not call forth thousands of swords.

He created only ten ethereal, thunderous blades, which flew slowly around him, imbued with a Qi powerful enough to injure even True Immortals.

Qingyi took a single moment to prepare before moving toward that point in the void.

The ten blades followed him, tearing through the air at an absurd speed before being completely swallowed by Qingyi’s shadow Qi.

The beautiful young man smiled, changed the trajectory of his blades, and then moved his spatial Qi.

His body was swallowed by an endless black hole, the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword already cutting through the air as he reappeared a few dozen meters above the forest, attacking downward.

A slash of sword Qi, flames, and lightning enveloped the sharp blade. The air around him boiled as the strike opened like a crescent moon, swallowing the world around it.

At that moment, seconds before the attack hit the ground, he used his spatial Qi again.

His body vanished with a shockwave. Space distorted at the exact point where the ten thunderous ethereal swords and his final attack converged.

The Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword became nothing more than a luminous blur as Qingyi parried all eleven attacks in a single fraction of a second.

The shockwaves from the eleven impacts spread out around him, uprooting trees and turning the ground beneath his feet to dust, sweeping away everything for over a kilometer.

"Incredible..." Qingyi murmured, flashing a broad, satisfied smile.

Such speed... such malleability... it was as if he were water.
