The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 462 - Prepare for death!

Chapter 462: 462 - Prepare for death!

"Argh... damn it!" An angry grunt echoed as a blade cut through the dense forest, slowly clearing a path covered in weeds.

The owner of that voice was a young man with short golden hair and blue eyes. His cloak was torn, and even underneath, his silver armor was in pieces, covered in putrid, blackened blood.

He had taken a bad route, facing a ton of monsters, fighting countless battles, and sinking knee-deep in blood.

But fortunately, it was all over.

He had reached his destination, and now, it wouldn’t be long before he could finally take a hot shower.

On the horizon, he could already see the path that led to the cabin, and the moment he stepped onto it, he quickened his pace.

When he finally arrived, he opened the door without hesitation.

He couldn’t help but frown when he saw Qingyi there, especially when he saw who was next to him, lovingly feeding him.

Aeryn, the cold elven beauty. Her long, delicate fingers gripped a translucent cup as she carefully removed a spoonful of its contents and placed it in Qingyi’s mouth.

The handsome young man simply accepted the spoon, eating calmly.

Lucien struggled to wipe the frown from his face, controlling his breathing, his body locking up uncontrollably.

’Since when had these two become so close?’ Lucien thought before looking away.

This was not the time to dwell on such things; he had something bigger in front of him.

"Brother Qingyi." Lucien bowed. "I see you are... well." His nose suddenly caught a scent, something already lost in his memories.

’Is that... pudding?’ Lucien wondered, his eyes shining.

The smell was identical, even the consistency on the spoon the high elf brought to Qingyi’s mouth was the same, but it couldn’t be.

Pudding didn’t exist in this world, he was sure of it.

"You look well too," Qingyi said, clearly ironically, his eyes focused on Lucien, who immediately went to one of the bathrooms.

"Yes, and I’ll be even better after this shower," Lucien said, shaking his head and suppressing useless thoughts.

"When I get out, we need to start preparing for the invasion of that damn necromancer’s lair. The longer we take, the more innocents he kills."

Qingyi just nodded and soon got up, stretching slightly.

His wives soon gathered around him, and when Lucien finally left the bathroom, refreshed, he took a huge map out of his space ring and placed it on a wooden table.

It was a rough map, showing the outlines of where they were within a radius of about a hundred kilometers.

At this very moment, they were on a large plain covered with forests and rivers; to the north, the terrain became more mountainous, marking the beginning of the path that led to the land of the dragon elves.

To the east was the City of Light Breeze, an isolated but wealthy settlement, especially due to the extraction of spiritual wood.

To the southwest, there was little more than a vast emptiness, with a single point marked in the middle.

"According to our scouts, that is the entrance to the necromancer’s lair, or at least where most of the kidnapped were taken immediately after capture.

It must be full of traps, but nothing we can’t handle. We just need to keep Celestia well protected."

Lucien looked up at Qingyi again, then at Celestia.

The beauty was barely paying attention to what Lucien was saying, totally focused on her husband, her eyes filled with an intense glow of affection.

That only made Lucien’s heart sink even further.

He didn’t know, and to be honest, the possibility that she already considered herself Qingyi’s wife hadn’t even crossed his mind.

He knew Qingyi was intelligent; no one that intelligent would try to take the holy priestess of the Church of Auranys.

And if they did, their death would be slow, painful, and horrible.

Lucien’s eyes then turned to Aeryn and Sapphire, both paying a little more attention to his words, but ultimately totally focused on Qingyi.

How could he stop jealousy from taking over his heart?

He didn’t know, he was tired and frustrated.

He just wanted to get rid of those demonic cultists as quickly as possible and then leave, back to his routine of training and prayers until he could finally fulfill his destined prophecy.

"And what do you plan to do to get in?" Qingyi asked, leaving the final decision to Lucien.

Like it or not, he was technically the leader of that group of heroes.

"We can send minor attacks little by little, test their defenses, and then allow them to continue torturing and killing countless innocents before we finally intervene.

Or we can go there right now and crush them like the cockroaches they are," Lucien declared.

"Hm... I like the second plan better." Qingyi smiled.

Was it a stupid plan? Absolutely, but he didn’t care.

He liked to be direct, just as he liked to crush ants, and in the end, even Aeryn, who didn’t like to be so direct, had to agree with that idea.

In the end, everyone just wanted to solve the problem as quickly as possible and then never set foot in that godforsaken place again.

Besides, of course, the fact that they wanted to join their husband soon and no longer be bound by those damn doctrines.

The church would probably want to continue giving them orders after they completed those missions, and their organizations would probably make them obey those rules.

Well, it was a pity for these organizations and for the church as well.

"Very well." Lucien stood up, and soon everyone began to prepare.

Swords were sharpened, staffs prepared, and spells organized.

Fortunately, they already had an idea of what the inside of that cave was like thanks to previous spies, so they were a little more relaxed.

The young hero was the first to leave, pushing all bitterness and jealousy from his heart, pretending that Qingyi didn’t even exist as the five heroes tore through the skies.

When they got close to the entrance of the lair, he dove in, throwing a huge space-blocking talisman while swinging his sword.

"We’ve arrived, heretics! Prepare for death!"

Lucien’s attack landed with a bang, tearing through the first cultists standing in front of the lair’s entrance.

The poor wretches barely had time to react.

Soon, the massacre would begin.
