"It’s decent..." Qingyi said, reaching out his hand. He moved his Qi and mana at the same time, feeling the sharpness and power.

The feeling was truly wonderful.

"Ah... if only there was some arrogant young master for me to kill right away..." Qingyi muttered, shaking his head.

"You just came out of a life-and-death battle and already want to put yourself in danger again?" Ruxue’s sweet, mature, and sensual voice echoed, low, like an annoyed whisper.

She appeared beside Qingyi, hugging him and planting a kiss on his cheek.

"You know your husband, love." The handsome young man smiled, grabbing her delicate waist and feeling the weight of her huge bosom pressed against him.

"Mmhm~~ an arrogant and greedy idiot... slightly seductive," Ruxue purred, snuggling into her husband’s arms.

"Exactly." Qingyi laughed, slapping the beauty’s butt, feeling her plump, perfectly round cheeks jiggle under his grip.

"Are you really going after Elize’s sister now? The patriarch of the dragon elves must be an ancient emperor, at the very least," Ruxue asked.

She wasn’t being mean. She knew how much Elize cared about it and how much she longed for the day when she could reunite with her sister.

But still, Ruxue was the wife who spent the most time with Qingyi, the one who saw the most dangers he faced and the enemies he made.

Even in the celestial sky, he already had enemies, and not just that.

Sooner or later, someone would discover that he was the heir to the power of the Dragon God of Corruption, a being who had been killed precisely because of his power.

How could she not be worried?

’Hmm... this womanizing scoundrel has really changed me...’ Ruxue thought, puffing out her cheeks in an adorable angry expression.

Without hesitation, she opened her mouth, biting his powerful chest.

"Ugh... are you really that eager to devour your little husband?" Qingyi smiled, his face taken over by a pained and betrayed expression.

"Yes, I’m going to eat you fried, or make sushi," Ruxue laughed, planting a final kiss on Qingyi’s lips before finally leaving.

Alone, Qingyi felt momentarily empty, but soon pushed everything out of his mind and left the meditation room.

"Did you have a pleasant stay, sir?" A servant bowed respectfully to Qingyi.

Her face flushed slightly when she noticed Qingyi’s half-open shirt, still revealing a bite mark.

Small and delicate, clearly from a woman.

"Yes." Qingyi adjusted his robes and then handed her a generous tip.

With nothing else to settle there, he simply left for one of the many cargo and personnel carriers in that city.

He wanted to take a simple carriage and move forward unnoticed, so he went to one of the smallest establishments of its kind in the city of Nighthall.

He had barely taken a single step inside before he regretted it.

A beastly roar echoed as a huge blue-scaled beast advanced toward him. Its mouth was open, ready to tear off one of Qingyi’s arms.

It was a dragon, and the saddle on its back revealed that it had a rider.

This rider was a young man sitting in a corner, drinking from a glass of wine, his beautiful blue eyes watching Qingyi with amusement.

’Oh... an arrogant young master?’ Qingyi exclaimed internally, noticing the white hair, pointed ears, and blue horns on the young man’s head.

He was, without a doubt, a Draconic Elf.

As for the dragon, Qingyi did not move. He just stared at it coldly, releasing a single strand of draconic Qi.

Immediately, the voracious beast hesitated, a tremor spreading through its body. It was insignificant compared to Khaedryss, just enough to carry its rider and no one else.

Its claws tore into the concrete floor, and the beast barely stopped in time.

Looking at Qingyi with curiosity and a little fear, the beast took a few steps back, returning to its rider, who was definitely not happy.

He stood up, his hand flowing to his sword.

"What’s going on here?" Suddenly, an angry old voice echoed. A grumpy man left the main building.

He was short, leaning on a wooden cane and wearing old, shabby clothes.

"Damn it, Lucas! I told you to take care of that damn beast of yours! Damn it... our next customers should be arriving soon!" The old man looked at the hole in the floor, angrily kicking a stone.

He turned to Lucas, who just turned his face away arrogantly.

He didn’t even seem to care about the old man.

In Lucas’s mind, that old man was lucky to even be graced with his presence in that miserable place.

He was the prince of a superior race, after all.

’Ugh... escorting filthy mortals... if it weren’t for my father’s insistence...’ Lucas grumbled mentally, unable to hide his own dissatisfaction.

In the end, he could only bow his head in defeat, his eyes flowing to Qingyi.

The handsome young man seemed to look at him as if he were nothing more than an ant... no, an insignificant cockroach.

That damn commoner... how dare he look at him that way?

Lucas hissed with rage, but said nothing.
