Chapter 481: 481 - Insolent brat!

The more Lucios watched the two, the more his thin, old lips curved, a huge smile taking over his wrinkled face.

He waved his hands, and then two orbs of light hovered over the two young men.

Qingyi observed his opponent with interest before climbing into the arena, cracking his knuckles and holding the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword firmly.

"You have a beautiful sword, stranger. My name is Lux, what is yours?" The young man asked, extending his hand.

"Qingyi." Qingyi replied briefly and coldly, accepting Lux’s handshake.

The moment he extended his hand, however, he sensed danger.

His left foot sank slightly into the ground, his vision blurring as he changed direction in the blink of an eye.

At the same time, the saber Lux carried at his waist became nothing more than a golden blur, his right hand moving at an absurd speed.

A sharp crack echoed, and then a powerful slash tore the arena in half, missing Qingyi by inches.

"Oh... that’s powerful, at least for an ant." Qingyi smiled disdainfully, watching Lux’s shocked face.

Turning his body, the handsome young man kicked out, his boots hitting Lux’s face with a thud and sending him crashing into the barrier.

"This is going to be interesting, hehehe..." Old Lucios laughed, the long, sharp nail of his index finger tapping against the black steel of his throne.

Lux took only a single moment before recovering, clutching his chest and then roaring.

"You’re fast, but don’t think speed alone will be enough, foreign pig!"

Lux punched the ground, his body exploding with a golden aura, any sign of humility on his face replaced by pure arrogance.

In the blink of an eye, he covered the distance between him and Qingyi.

His blade struck the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword with a powerful crash, his roar growing even louder as he pressed harder and harder.

Qingyi grunted softly as his feet tore into the concrete floor, holding back Lux’s powerful momentum.

He wasn’t even bothered to use his Qi, relying solely on his mana and physical strength.

That was enough to deal with that insect.

"I’m sorry, but I’ve seen enough." Qingyi finally pushed back with full force, planting his foot on the ground and then moving his sword, thunder, and fire toward his opponent’s blade.

In a single moment, steel sank into steel and molten metal fell to the ground.

Lux’s eyes widened as Qingyi’s sword passed through his and the weight in his hands grew lighter.

Before he was even able to react, Qingyi’s fist was already tearing through the air toward his face, covered in a powerful flaming aura.

Many closed their eyes at the thunderous sound of Qingyi’s fist landing.

Lux’s body spun in the air, his feet hitting the ground before he was violently thrown against the protective barrier.
