Qingyi’s eyes shifted, resting on the bedroom door.

Slowly, it swung open, revealing Ruxue standing in the doorway.

Qingyi let out a soft chuckle. "Do you really think your man is that amazing?"

"We’ve been together long enough for you to know that i do..."

"Yes... Although that time has been just an insignificant fraction compared to the eternity that lies ahead of us," Qingyi murmured.

"A thousand eternities..." Ruxue replied.

"A million..." A third voice echoed, groggily. Green eyes slowly opened, meeting Ruxue’s.

The two women stared at each other for a moment, then exchanged sweet, feminine giggles.

"Don’t you dare die to save the Master. And if you can’t bring her back... make sure she can’t be revived by the Heavenly Demon and that her body is completely destroyed... that’s what she would want." Ruxue spoke softly, her voice faltering slightly at the end.

"Ah... don’t talk as if the day for me to go after her has already come, you silly spirit." Qingyi leaned over Ruxue, capturing her lips in a slow kiss.

"And your husband doesn’t fail. The Heavenly Demon doesn’t even know what’s coming for him."

"Good..." Ruxue gave a sweet little smile.

"Hm... I’ll go get some tea," Rouxi said, gently pushing against Qingyi’s chest to sit up.

"No, let me get it!" Ruxue was already getting up when Rouxi motioned for her to stay where she was.

"I’m not a mortal woman. I can grab a bottle of tea just fine." Rouxi said with a tender smile.

Her voluptuous body left the bed, covered only by a short nightgown that was too sheer to hide much of anything.

She walked over to the table where a porcelain teapot sat.

She poured a cup for herself, one for Qingyi, and another for Ruxue, the steam rising in thin spirals, spreading a gentle herbal aroma throughout the room.

She stirred the tea carefully, her heavy breasts quivering in a discreet sway with each turn of the spoon; she added sugar and took a sip.

With a satisfied smile, she turned, balancing the three cups on a flat porcelain saucer.

Rouxi took a single step forward before coming to a halt.

The cups tumbled to the floor. Porcelain shattered across the floor, hot tea splashing everywhere.

Her hands flew to her stomach, an expression of pain taking over her beautiful face.

"Q-Qingyi..." she called, trembling. "It’s coming..."

He leaped from the bed, his arm stretched out toward her.

Too late.

The next moment, Rouxi’s body flickered and she was forcibly expelled from the Mind World, vanishing right before his fingertips.
