The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 864 - why are you so cold?

Chapter 864: 864 - why are you so cold?

Ever since Qingyi had fully transformed into a dragon, assimilating one hundred percent of his bloodline, his senses had grown infinitely superior to those of any ordinary human.

He could detect the tiniest vibrations in the air, from the fluttering of a distant fly’s wings to the tinkling of a glass plate shattering kilometers away.

As he adjusted his senses, beyond the soft sound of his own footsteps on the trail and the singing of the birds around him, something else reached him.

A woman’s voice.

He stopped abruptly, closing his eyes to concentrate.

It was a soft humming, without words—just elegant, symphonic notes, as if her lips themselves were a musical instrument.

He quickened his pace, and the voice grew louder and clearer, caressing his eardrums with an almost intoxicating delicacy.

"It doesn’t seem to be a mental attack..." Qingyi murmured to himself, his eyes narrowing slightly.

The sensation was similar to what he felt when he heard Auranys chanting ancestral songs for little Lingxi, who always loved those melodies.

To provoke such an effect on his mind—and without any infused Qi—was something only the voice of a superior being could accomplish.

Qingyi reached the entrance to a cave and stopped in his tracks.

It was narrow—wide enough for two or three people to pass side by side—but absurdly tall.

Vines dotted with crimson lotus flowers cascaded from the ceiling, forming a beautiful living curtain that swayed gently in the breeze of an invisible wind.

Qingyi reached out with a single hand, plucking one of the flowers.

"It’s blood..." he whispered, running his finger over the petals.

The flower’s original color was pure white; the blood that permeated it had stained the tip of his finger a vivid red.

He let the flower fall to the ground, his purple eyes following it as it dissolved into nothingness. The petals spilled onto the grass beneath his feet like reddish fragments of light that soon dissipated into the air.

The grass touched by those fragments took on a reddish hue, as if blood were being pumped directly through its stems.

Qingyi observed the strange effect for another moment before finally reaching toward the curtain of vines.

Pushing them aside, he stepped through, entering a dark cave where the woman’s voice echoed softly—beautiful, feminine, and high-pitched. It even sounded adorable, in a way.

There was a light at the end of that cavern, about thirty meters ahead of him.

He crossed the distance calmly, and when he finally reached the light, his eyes sparkled.

It was a vast chamber, large enough to house an entire palace.

In the ceiling, an opening let sunlight stream down, bathing the very center of the space.

There, a lake of sky-blue water surrounded a small island of green grass, dotted with red flowers.

On that island stood a small, cozy house, and sitting on its wooden deck was a woman.

Her long, shapely legs were bare, her delicate toes gently dipping into the lake’s water, sending tiny ripples across the crystalline surface.

Her skin, a pale, slightly grayish hue unlike that of humans, glistened with moisture beneath the sunlight pouring down from above.

She was clad in a garment that Qingyi recognized as a kimono—a strange piece of clothing, though not exactly unheard of in the celestial heavens.

The fabric rose gently along her sides and ended just above her nipples, exposing the tops of two white mountains as full as ripe melons, their pale curves swelling softly with each slow breath she took.

The black fabric only reached the level of her arms, leaving her delicate, elegant shoulders bare, along with her slender, graceful neck.

Her hair matched the dress—black at the roots, from which small horns sprouted. Further down, the strands transformed into a vibrant color—a blood-red much like her charming lips.

She was, without a shadow of a doubt, a rare beauty.

From her delicate nose to her long eyelashes and oval face, from her full breasts to her slender waist and hips that flared out in a sinful, indecent curve.

Every centimeter of her was perfect.

Her eyes were closed, her small feet stirring gentle ripples on the water’s surface, while her parted lips let that beautiful humming escape.

Qingyi halted his steps, admiring her in silence.

She was a demon—of that there was no doubt. Of a race similar to Ruyan, yet with far superior blood purity.

At last, the woman’s eyes opened, revealing a brilliant crimson.

She turned her delicate face, and her gaze fell directly upon Qingyi.

She smiled, and then, before he even realized it, she had vanished.

"You seem to know who I am..." That sweet, sensual voice echoed right next to Qingyi’s ear...

Delicate fingers gripped his shoulders from behind, and the weight of a perfect pair of tits pressed heavily against his back.

The soft, heavy mounds flattened obscenely against his muscular frame, their warm, pillowy flesh molding around the contours of his back.

A long tongue slid between her blood-red lips, slowly tracing a wet path up Qingyi’s neck, seeming to revel in the salty taste of his sweat.

"You also seem to know who I am... I’d be disappointed if you didn’t," Qingyi replied, his voice remaining icy. He didn’t even flinch at the beautiful woman’s touch.

"Huh? Of course I know, my love... why are you so cold? I’m your beloved wife..." She floated through the air, spinning slowly around Qingyi’s body.

When she stopped in front of him, she leaned in to kiss him, but froze before her lips could meet his.

Qingyi’s left hand had already shot up to her neck, his strong, masculine fingers clamping down on the slender curves with brutal force.

He squeezed, crushing her windpipe and spine in a single instant, wrenching a choked, gurgling groan from her parted lips.

At the same moment, his free hand shot out, plunging into the woman’s chest with terrifying force.

His arm burst through her back, her heart still beating wildly between his fingers as warm blood trickled down his wrist.

He clenched his fist, crushing the organ like a fruit between his fingers.

Coldly, he flung the lifeless body aside.
