After a little over an hour of playing, Qingyi finally let himself fall onto the gigantic bed, his relaxed body slowly sinking into the soft sheets.
Lingxi was resting on his chest, the adorable little baby clinging possessively to her father's clothes with her chubby little hands, as if she feared he would disappear the moment she let go.
Her breath came in light, rhythmic gasps, and a sweet little smile played at the corners of her pink lips.
Qingyi was smiling too, gently stroking his daughter's tiny back with his fingertips, while Rouxi, lying beside him, slowly ran her hand through the little girl's silky strands of hair.
The other women had left some time ago, granting them a moment of privacy.
"She's growing up so well…" Rouxi murmured, her voice overflowing with maternal love as she watched their sleeping daughter.
"Yes," Qingyi agreed with a soft chuckle. "I want to take her to see the capital soon; I think she'll love the huge buildings."
"Knowing her, she'll love anything new, fufufu~" Rouxi let out an amused chuckle. "Just yesterday she was playing in the cockpit of your ship and, somehow, managed to take off all by herself. Celestia was there and nearly had a heart attack."
Hearing that, Qingyi let out a low chuckle, careful not to wake the little one sleeping on his chest. "I'll buy a new ship soon and let her play to her heart's content."
