The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 953 - The day of departure has arrived

Qingyi calculated exactly how many affinity-boosting pills he would need to buy, taking into account what Feiyan's production had already accumulated.

In total, to raise all his remaining affinities to over one million, he would need about two hundred and ten million Lust Points—if he was lucky.

If he were extremely unlucky with the pills, a little over three hundred million.

Qingyi didn't waste any time thinking about it. He spent the money without batting an eye.

Immediately afterward, he began swallowing the tons of pills he'd bought, one batch after another. The bitter, earthy taste built up on his tongue until it coated the back of his throat.

It was an absurd amount—the kind of thing that would cause any other cultivator's body to explode into pieces—but Qingyi's body was simply too strong for that.

Moreover, he still possessed the power of the Primordial Star of Creation. He used it to safely dissolve everything, ensuring that his body absorbed as much of the essence from each of those pills as possible.

In total, the process lasted about five hours, raising all his current affinities to over one million points.

At first, Qingyi noticed only a single difference.

His meridians had expanded considerably, as had the density of his Qi.

His reserves had increased fivefold, and his ability to move Qi had quadrupled.

But it wasn't until he actually circulated his Qi that he felt something similar to what he had experienced when raising his spatial affinity beyond one million.

Generally speaking, cultivators at Qingyi's level required almost no effort to move their own Qi.

It was something natural, so deeply ingrained in their bodies that they didn't even need to concentrate, unless they were moving a massive amount all at once.

Now, however, Qingyi felt that even if he wanted to expel all his Qi in a single burst, he could do so as easily as breathing. It slid through his widened meridians without the slightest resistance.

The handsome young man let out a sigh, standing up and stretching until he heard his back crack, his eyes falling on the status screen once more.

G Lust Points: 20,345,900]

Qingyi's affinities were so absurdly high that, even without realizing it or consciously trying, his cultivation had advanced by two entire stages.

The sight drew a low chuckle from him.

"This is more OP than I thought…" He shook his head slightly. "System, is there any benefit to increasing them beyond five million? Or maybe ten million?"

[Generally speaking, no.] The System's voice echoed in Qingyi's head—high-pitched, sweet, and feminine.

[Starting at one million affinity, the benefits gained per point become negligible, and the further you go, the less significant they'll become.]

[Crossing the one-million threshold multiplies your sensitivity to the element several times over. The next nine million—from one to ten million—would increase that sensitivity by only about 10%. The following ten million, up to twenty million, by only 5%.]

Hearing that, Qingyi nodded.

Honestly, it wasn't even worth it.

Feiyan's pills couldn't raise affinities beyond two million. A single affinity-boosting pill with a ten-million limit, on the other hand, cost nearly five million G Lust Points and offered, on average, a thousand affinity points per use.

In other words, it would take around four billion G Lust Points to boost them and gain just 10% more sensitivity.

In the end, Qingyi simply returned to the mind world.

There, he had some fun with his wives, sinking between soft thighs and warm breasts.

Afterward, he played with Lingxi for quite a while and slept very well.

In the days that followed, Qingyi had to work hard, but that didn't mean he neglected Lingxi.

He took her to amusement parks, where her laughter was lost amid the screams coming from the rides, and to private white-sand beaches. He even went fishing with her a bit.

Together, they enjoyed everything the most luxurious areas of the civilian cities of the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance had to offer.

Fun aside, there was no shortage of work.

He attended countless meetings, helped devise plans for a wide variety of situations, reviewed figures, and, of course, decided how the troops under his command would be deployed across the planet.

Qingyi had an absurdly quick mind and unparalleled intelligence.

All of Earth's computing power at its peak, combined, would barely amount to one percent of his brain working at full speed.

That's why he handled it all with ease, even though he found every minute terribly tedious.

After fifty days in the Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance, he helped Bai Hu Lie advance to the Stellar Sovereign Realm.

The great tiger managed to make contact with the Thousand-Claw Star, the most famous star of the Beast Clan, and the news caused a huge stir wherever it spread.

Qingyi himself had also advanced significantly, of course.

Using the countless resources he could purchase from the System, along with what he had stolen from the Heavenly Demon, he reached the pinnacle of the Stellar Sovereign Realm.

Soon, however, Qingyi's peaceful life came to an end.

The day to board the Celestial Spear and set off for the battlefield had finally arrived.

He knew he would have to be apart from Lingxi for some time during the war, so he would use every second of the journey to be by her side.

Being away for a few days was acceptable, but Qingyi would never miss her birthday.

If that war lasted more than a few months, he would bring it to an end by force.

That moment, unfortunately, had not yet arrived.

With his hands clasped behind his back, Qingyi walked across the boarding platform, ignoring the chatter of the many generals around him.

The Celestial Orthodox Martial Alliance had already received tens of millions of combat geniuses, and all of them were now boarding in rows stretching as far as the eye could see.

Qingyi, however, was searching for just one person amid it all: Ma Mingzhu, Ma Zhenwu's granddaughter.

Fortunately, with his keen Qi senses, it took only a few minutes to find her aura in that sea of people.

He sent a small pulse of Qi in her direction, just enough for her to notice it.

The response came almost immediately—a timid pulse in return—and soon a figure stood out from the crowd, flying over everyone's heads toward him.

A few guards moved to stop her, since flying over the platform was illegal, but Qingyi raised his hand in a swift gesture, ordering them to stand down.

Mingzhu landed right in front of him, her eyes trembling and her face flushed.

Her full chest was still swaying slightly from the gentle impact of the landing. The heavy mounds gave a slow, lazy bounce beneath her robes before settling, then kept rising and falling with her rapid breathing as she brushed a strand of dark purple, almost burgundy, hair from her eyes.

"Young Master Qingyi… no, Commander Qingyi… it's good to see you here… How may I be of service?" Mingzhu spoke softly, her words coming out somewhat hurriedly as she bowed her head in a slight curtsy, her fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve.

"Don't be so formal. We're friends and practically engaged, aren't we? Hahaha. You can just call me Qingyi." The handsome dragon smiled.

He placed a strong hand on the top of her head, gently stroking her hair, feeling the silky strands slide cool and soft between his fingers.

She stiffened for a heartbeat, then leaned into the touch almost without realizing it.

The blush on her face spread all the way to the tips of her ears.

"Okay…" escaped her lips, sweet and high-pitched, clearly restrained, yet strangely cheerful.

"How's old Ma Zhenwu? Has he recovered from his injuries yet?" Qingyi asked, removing his hand from her hair and motioning for her to walk beside him.

Mingzhu hurried to fall into step with him, keeping half a pace behind out of habit.

"Yes… The Zhang Family was very helpful and even provided plenty of supplies for him to heal and cultivate."

Heads lowered one after another as they passed. No one dared to stand in their way as they walked toward the gigantic ship that dominated the horizon—the Celestial Spear, the most powerful spaceship in the Orthodox world.

Its beauty was unmatched, and its power was equivalent to that of a hundred mid-tier Celestial Emperors.
