"Echidna!! I’m stuffed!! I can’t eat anymore..." Evangeline says, pushing her plate forward. I glance out the window at the planet where Pandora lives, out there in the distance. It’s always such a beautiful sight, seeing that planet from here on the moon.

"Alright, you can stop now..."

"Echidna, how do you cook so well?" Evangeline says, licking her plate even after claiming she doesn’t want any more.

"It’s because I’m old. I’ve got a skill for cooking well."

"Really? Wow! My divine sister seems way more versatile than I expected. These last five years with you have been incredible, and I’ve learned so much about you, but I still don’t get why you’re good at everything!"

"The castle prevents that. The barrier around it suppresses any damage my mana causes. You are the only side effect of living with me."

"Do you feel bad about it?" I question her, not wanting my sister to suffer because of this, even if she is merely a reincarnation and not really "her."

"No, I already made peace with dying young even before we lived together!! I never expected to live long! And with you, I will live long! But hey, when will this thing in my belly kill me?"

"Probably in about a year, if you’re not further contaminated. But considering our sexually intense routine, probably two months. It will grow and spread out from your belly, womb, and lower organs, and reach your heart, making it explode from the inside out."

"..." Evangeline looks at the food in front of her as if it had stopped being food and had become a piece of dirt.
