The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 719: Heiress Part 4

Chapter 719: Heiress Part 4

"...Daughters, I’ve come to reward all of you! I know you’re all upset about not being my direct heiresses who got the title, but you’ve all done incredible things, so I’m going to reward you a little," Mama Pandora says as the four of us are gathered together.

"Let’s start with you, Eclipsya." Mama Pandora comes over to me, and then from within her shadows emerges a relatively large chest made entirely of a black wood with a purple metal.

"This chest contains 34 books, each one following a progression, from the easier ones to the most difficult. Each one will teach you magic, knowledge about the universe, and there’s even a personal book of mine that will help you a great deal to grow as a queen." She opens the chest, showing me all the books.

"Thank you, Mama Pandora." Normally I would be happy with this, but I’m still a little uncomfortable because of everything involving Elysia, who fortunately isn’t here.

"Azazel, for you, I have this!! It’s the [Flower of Blasphemy]." Mama Pandora hands Azazel a red jewel. Azazel stares at the jewel with visible confusion.

"I’ll explain. This jewel feeds on blood and can take any form you want, as long as it’s well-fed. You can turn it into weapons, objects, clothes, shields to defend yourself from attacks, and even adult toys for personal use, if you know what I mean."

"It’s an object I created based on my divine weapon. It has a limit regarding its resistance, which will depend on how much magic you can control within the object, but it’s not just a weapon! It’s something extremely useful." As she explains, a huge smile spreads across Azazel’s face.

"It’s perfect, Mama Pandora!!! This is simply incredible in every way! I can’t wait to use it." Azazel jumps onto Mama Pandora, hugging her, and soon she looks at me with a certain lasciviousness while Mama Pandora moves on to Aqua.

"Aqua! For you, I have something quite interesting as well. It’s a Grimoire. It has 101 spells recorded in it. You just need to put Mana into it and use them. They’re spells I created, and there’s a lot of stuff."

"There are 40 attack spells, 60 support spells, and one instant death spell that works on anyone weaker than you." Aqua looks at me, taking the grimoire and weighing it in her hands. I roll my eyes at her.

But it really is a great gift, although it has the weakness that she has to have the book in her hands to use the spells recorded within it.

"And Lycoris! My soft and wild daughter, I have this here for you. For all the support you gave Aqua, I figured a ring would be interesting. This is a wedding ring based on the wedding ring I gave to Zephyra as a gift."

"It’s also a relic with several different healing spells so you can save your dear Aqua whenever you need to." Mama Pandora hands the ring to Lycoris, who seems enchanted.

Although it seems she cares more about the fact that it’s similar to her mother’s ring than about the spells it has.

’There’s so much magic in that ring...’ All the gifts are perfect, but many are also enviable. I would love to have any of them. Some are practical, others more indirect.

"Now, daughters, since you’ve been rewarded, how about we have dinner together? I prepared everything myself with magic. You just need to come with me," she says, walking toward the castle staircase. We follow her as Azazel approaches me.

"What do you think of this, Eclipsya? It’s kind of sad that none of us got the title, but the gifts were great. Besides, it seems like they were made with the thought of solving problems we have right now."

"And even if we didn’t get the title, we still have everything we’ve built! We have an entire kingdom, a people who trust us, and plans for the future. Things that don’t depend on that title and weren’t made with its help."

"...Yeah... they were indeed perfect gifts." Mama Pandora looks at me and gives me a smile. I look away, knowing I shouldn’t say anything to Azazel.

"You know, Azazel, I think it’s time for us to get married. Aqua and Lycoris already have their wedding planned. I think if we get married, we could make our sides much more united." Now that this title is no longer something to fight for, a marriage sounds great.

"Hehehe, I was anxiously waiting for the day you’d say that. If you want to, I want to as well! It’ll be wonderful to marry you," she says as I focus completely on Azazel.

"I’m feeling a little sick. I’d like you to help me with that," I say, running my hand along her waist.

"Hihihi, what a naughty little sweet we have here. Normally you wait for me to be the active one, but okay, I like you being active! We can have a private moment tonight. Should I go to your room, or will you come to mine?" she asks, clearly excited about it.

"I’ll go to your room. Wear that red and black lingerie and put your hair in a ponytail. Tonight, I’m going to keep you very busy."

"Great!! And it’s good that I’ll have time to test my gift!! I’m really anxious about that! Besides, look! We have Aqua and Lycoris here without fighting. It’s been over 10 years since we’ve been at odds, since that thing in the past. It’s the perfect time to reconcile." When Azazel says this, I look at Aqua, who looks at us but quickly averts her gaze.

"...Maybe it is... we’re all quite grown up now, we’ve matured a lot, and this silly fight has gone on for far too long." This fight stopped making sense a long time ago. Maybe it would be good to stop maintaining this long and enduring enmity.

"We’re here, girls. I hope you like the food. I made it myself. Of course, a large part was using magic, but it was still made by me," Mama Pandora says as she opens the door to a room, revealing a beautiful banquet hall full of food, some of which I’ve never seen in my life, others are our favorite dishes.

Which shows that even from afar, Mama is always watching and attentive to what we like. Azazel is the first to run to the table, bouncing along, followed by Lycoris.

"...I heard your conversation. A peace treaty would be great. Although I still don’t like you very much, I think the past should just be left behind," Aqua says, coming up to me. I look into her eyes attentively.

"It would be, yes... we can negotiate and debate this another day. Today we should enjoy Mama Pandora’s presence. After all, it’s rare for us to see her." Aqua agrees when I say this, walking away and going close to Lycoris.

While I, still a little tense from everything I discovered, go over to Azazel.
