Chapter 761: The Goddess of Death Final Part
Chapter 761: The Goddess of Death Final Part
"..." Pandora, the Goddess of Death, simply went off to do something that was in her own interest. I even asked why she didn’t just destroy the life of the "Perfect" Pandora, but she said she can’t.
If she does something now, a new timeline will emerge. The timeline she’s in would suffer the consequences, but the new one would carry on perfectly fine, so she doesn’t even try.
’Only an omnipotent being could do it... according to her...’ I don’t know if that’s an excuse or if she genuinely believes it.
"..." But something caught my attention in a big way. Normally, I’m not the type who gets curious. I’ve always been an entity of contracts. But this "Perfect" Pandora really got my attention.
"..." I arrive at this Pandora’s room to clear up some doubts. What I don’t understand is the series of favorable factors that worked out when they should have failed. I believe this is the answer to why the Vampire Queen Grimm always saw Pandora die in her visions of the future.
"Pandora." I knock on the door of Pandora’s room while I hear strange sounds inside.
"Come in." She speaks softly as I open the door, and I regret a little having obeyed and entered. Pandora is mounted on Mikaela’s head.
The position is bizarre. She is liberally tangled with her legs wrapped around her neck, her body completely bent over her head with her belly touching the top of Mikaela’s head while her tail enters through Mikaela’s ear into her skull.
"...That is profoundly disgusting. It almost makes you look like a parasite," I say to her as Mikaela trembles. She is kneeling on the floor with her hands braced on the bed while she drools and cries, despite letting out almost bestial moans of pleasure.
"Did you come just to complain? I didn’t invite you to watch." She speaks while I see her tail pulsing. What is her pleasure in this, anyway?
"I have a question about your perfect life. Did Grimm also see you dying in the future?" If she is perfect, theoretically she should never have come close to death in Grimm’s vision.
"A-Aahh..." Mikaela moans, having an orgasm and wetting the floor, while Pandora slowly pulls her tail out of her head. A white slime drips along with the tail, which is a little thinner than I expected, respecting the limits of what a head can hold.
"Tsk, kind of frustrating doing this while someone watches." She stands up while Mikaela falls to the floor, drooling and convulsing weakly.
’...’ I noticed another difference between this Pandora and the original. The Original is much more loving and respectable. This ’Perfect’ Pandora clearly doesn’t care about the well-being of her partners.
"She seems to be having dangerous convulsions," I say, pointing to the girl drooling on the floor.
"Mikaela is fine. I use magic so they don’t die. It’s just my sperm inside that generates this reaction." She stretches while I hear her bones cracking almost aggressively with the position she makes. She soon grabs her clothes and looks into my eyes, giving a smile.
"Your disgust is amusing. Don’t the ’Original’ Pandora and the one who came with you do this? You should try it. It feels really good."
"...They don’t do that. They love their partners. What you did practically enters the field of extreme body horror, since it’s just appalling to any outside observer... really something only a biological monster would feel pleasure in doing. With that, I can say I genuinely feel a certain disgust for you. But let’s ignore my disgust. My curiosity is greater. Could you answer me?"
"...I love my partners, but I think I understand what you mean. I don’t love them as much as I should... maybe because none of them ever shaped my strength, ideology, or way of living very much. Children... yes, I think that change is quite significant." She speaks while her tail expands, returning to its original size.
"After I let go of that desire, I think my love cooled down... well, let’s get to what matters. What do you want to know? I’m quite generous, so you can ask." She asks while pulling a bottle of wine out of the shadows and drinking it cheerfully.
"...It’s the same question I asked before. Did Grimm see you dying?"
"...Yes, she did. But I never even came close to dying, except in the battle against the goddesses. So it’s just strange." When she says that, I understand.
"I knew it..."
"What?"
"...Nothing." I decide not to say it. I think Pandora never realized, and Grimm could never realize it either. The reason Grimm’s vision can never see Pandora’s future is simple.
Pandora shouldn’t exist. Or rather, she doesn’t "exist" in the world’s records. The world is something continuous, and the timelines are different branches of that line.
But Pandora is NEVER continuous. So much so that one event at the beginning of Pandora’s life altered her life 100%, making it much easier. Grimm is seeing the right future, but she is looking at the wrong timeline. That’s why she always sees Pandora dying.
The fact that she sees this "Perfect" Pandora dying is proof of that. She is observing other timelines where she really died. This also means that Pandora died MANY times, so many times that the lines are everywhere, tangling even with the Pandoras who never died.
The world works more or less like a main Line followed by an event that ends in ramifications. But Pandora is not bound to a single causal sequence. Each important decision she makes can produce a version so different that the world’s "record" starts treating them as distinct continuities instead of the same being taking a different action.
’This is fascinating.’ She is not a special case. I’ve seen this happen before, and it has even happened to me before. When our existences stabilize, this line usually returns to normal. But due to Pandora’s adaptation, I think hers will never return to normal.
"Hey, little thing, I didn’t like that look as if I were a lab rat that learned to talk."
"...Sorry. I just found it fascinating how your existence is simply iconic. You are truly something unique." I smile at her, satisfied.
"...Whatever. Is there anything else you’d like to know?" She questions while I look at Mikaela on the floor.
"Don’t you think about having children?"
"No."
"...I see... My questions end here." This one is no longer Pandora. In my view, a version of someone existing doesn’t make them the same being, even if theoretically they are.
It’s the same as when someone loses their memory. To me, someone without memories is no longer the same person. This Pandora is Pandora logically speaking, but to me, she has already stopped being Pandora and just become another being derived from an existence that has already moved on to another phase.
"..." And since she is no longer Pandora in my eyes, my interest cools. Even Pandora, the Goddess of Death, is more Pandora than this ’Perfect’ Pandora in front of me.
"...I feel you have a rather aggressive and pessimistic view of me, but that’s fine." She goes to the bedroom door, leaving through it, while my curiosity has been sated.
"It’s not as bad as it seems..." I answer her. This Pandora is interesting, and I won’t deny it. Her own disgusting fetish is already concrete proof of her difference and individuality. I respect that she is unique among infinite possibilities.
’Yes... she is the least Pandora of all Pandoras... however, she is a Pandora more similar to Grimm... this truly satisfies me...’ I’ve always liked information, and such information is good, even if useless to me.

Warning to the readers!!
This scene reveals some important secrets to you! First, it reveals the real answer to the mystery of why Grimm only sees Pandora dying!! This is the first time the answer appears in a concrete form, even though it had already been theorized in other ways before!!
This scene also shows another future for Pandora, one that is very far away, which has existed since the beginning of the story! It shows what Pandora could have been if she had simply made one small different decision!!
This Pandora’s own bizarre "fetish" is also strongly connected to her more monstrous side and to Grimm!! Since, obviously, in the first Chapters, Pandora already had a bizarre sexual interaction with Elena!! And now we see that even Pandora’s intimate interests were shaped by the way she lived!!
I hope this Chapter answers some of the questions that existed throughout the story!! And I hope you see this Chapter more as a real version of what Pandora could have been in a scenario where she is happiest, a scenario where many of her mistakes never happen and she has almost no real problems!!
This scene was not made to erase the accomplishments of the Original Pandora. Quite the opposite, it shows that even her perfect version is monstrous, and yet she is still weaker, less capable, and has lost things, such as genuinely complete love and the desire to have children.
Despite being bizarre, Pandora always truly loved her partners, while the "Perfect" Pandora abandoned that love, becoming much colder and more apathetic toward the emotions of those she claims to love. The Original Pandora is controlling, but she wants her loved ones to be happy, while the "Perfect" Pandora is the opposite; she only cares about her own happiness and satisfaction.
And the scene itself makes this explicit, which is why I made this scene: to show just how "bizarre" Pandora’s fetish is, a glimpse of how much she has stopped caring about what she truly liked.
Even so, the focus is still on answering some of the biggest questions that were left unanswered! One of them was Grimm’s power to see the future! Since Pandora is kind of Grimm’s soulmate purely because of a misinterpretation on Grimm’s own part!!
In the end, the "Perfect" Pandora is only "perfect" depending on the metric being used. She really did have an easier, more stable, and better life, but she lost things that made Pandora who Pandora was! So it is up to you, the readers, to decide whether this Pandora is really as "perfect" as Pandora, Goddess of Death, claimed she was.
