The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 766: A New Phase Part 2

Chapter 766: A New Phase Part 2

"..." Pandora presses me against the table as her tail coils around my thigh. She strips my clothes off completely, yanking my bra carelessly while she pulls my panties down with more care, lowering them slowly.

"...U-Urgh?!" Pandora grabs my throat, forcing me harder against the table.

"A-Ahhh!??!" I feel pain as a strange sensation surges through my body along with tears.

"W-What are you d-doing?"

"You don’t know?" When she asks that with a malicious smile, I freeze.

’I don’t know...? I-I don’t know?!!! I can’t see?!!’ I realize I can no longer see the future. Pandora squeezes my throat harder, giving me a suffocating sensation.

"Ah, how adorable. You started crying. It’s the first time you’ve truly cried. How does it feel to be in pain?"

"H-How?!" I ask breathlessly, not understanding these emotions I have no control over. I try to use my powers, but I can’t.

"You know, Oriane, when you deceived me and made me lose that bet, I let that avatar try to replace me. But I got very curious about how I was deceived, and I realized something interesting."

"G-Gaaahhh!" She squeezes my throat with so much force that I feel like I’m choking, starting to die from lack of air. Tears begin to stream down, falling onto the counter as I gasp painfully.

"Don’t worry, you won’t die. You’re omnipotent. You can’t die. But it must hurt, right? I’ll explain what I realized."

"When an omnipotent being limits themselves, when they reduce their perception, they momentarily lose the ability to choose. The choice exists, the power exists, and they can act at any moment, but they tend to obey the rules they themselves created for that context."

"Do you know what’s fun about that? Since we’re both omnipotent and have omnipresence in logic, we’re also the ’same being,’ because we experience everything from each other."

"Just like you cheated and deceived me by knowing that, I also realized I could do the same—but much worse."

"What I did was make your own power reduce your state of existence to something similar to what I am now, but with one caveat: you CANNOT use your power until I allow it."

"!!!?" Everything starts to look blurry through my tears as her smile fills me with fear. It’s the first time I’ve ever felt fear.

"Hmmm, I love seeing the fear in your eyes. You’re still omnipotent, still absolute, still capable of anything. But at this moment, by your own choice, you’re trapped in this artificial mold."

"And do you know the funniest part? You instinctively obey this mold because they’re your own rules. Omnipotence is funny, isn’t it? There are no rules for us, so we create them ourselves and choose to stay bound to them."

"It’s just that... normally it’s assumed another omnipotent won’t interfere. You know, Oriane, you were right. I never should have reduced my consciousness without reducing my power, because it means I CAME BACK."

"I’m back to the phase I love so much. I feel everything again like it always was, but now with the power to subdue you. I created this future that never existed, so you simply couldn’t perceive it until the moment it was done."

"Fun, isn’t it? I’m learning so much from you, grandma."

"H-Haaa..." I try to speak, but I can’t. The pain in my throat is overwhelming, and the sensation of being suffocated makes my lungs ache.

"Until I allow you to leave, you’re bound to these rules. You can’t die because you’re omnipotent. You can’t use your powers because your own power defined the current rules. And you can’t challenge me because you can’t use any power."

"You know, Oriane, you lack malice. You lacked the cruelty to react to me. You knew I was evil, but you did nothing about it. And now, grandma, you’re mine."

"W-Why...?" I can only manage that question with great difficulty. My lips turn bluish-purple from the lack of oxygen—something I never expected to feel.

"Why? Can’t you figure it out?" She speaks with sarcasm, knowing I can no longer access that information.

"Simple, Oriane. Because it’s fun. Do you know how ridiculous it is to imagine a scenario where a true omnipotent loses? Omnipotence doesn’t allow defeat. If an omnipotent loses, they’re not truly omnipotent."

"BUT logically speaking, you didn’t lose. You have the same power as me, the same strength, the same existence. But you’re more limited than I am right now. It’s simple—you were deceived by the very rules you defined."

"I’m very vindictive, Oriane. You shouldn’t have cheated, you little fool. Your cheating gave me ideas I didn’t need to think about."

"It hurts, doesn’t it? Feeling pain is terrible, right? A being who never suffered... feeling pain for the first time... it must be terrifying." She squeezes harder, making me arch forward. My hands claw at hers, survival instinct fighting to protect me.

"Hahaha, you’re trying to survive. How cute. It’s funny that your body doesn’t realize it can’t die. Adorable."

"P-Pandora... s-stop... p-please..." I beg, feeling things I don’t like.

"That’s it, beg more, grandma. Beg me to stop. I get very excited when girls beg."

"You always accepted my games. What changed? The lack of safety, the real emotion, my personality—does all of that scare you now that you have no support?"

"You know... I also felt fear before I was omnipotent. The sensation of almost dying is terrifying. I admit I’ve fled from death before. It’s the pattern of every living thing, right? And guess what—you’re also ’alive’ now. Now you’re trapped in this state of being alive, feeling things and not controlling your own body."

"But don’t worry, Oriane. I like you. Or rather, I have an interest in you. Do you know how interesting it is to have an omnipotent on a leash?"

"Billions of years... who would’ve thought that after billions of years living together, this would be our relationship dynamic... I’m truly grateful to you, Oriane, really." She shoves one hand into my mouth while choking me with the other. My eyes roll back as the sensation that I’m going to die refuses to fade.

"I’m grateful for the omnipotence you guided me through. Grateful for your choice of path that made my birth possible. And grateful for the years we lived together—I learned so much from you."

"But do you know something funny about monsters in nature? They can easily bite the hand that feeds them. My mother is the only one I would never hurt... Oriane... you’re not my mother. You should have been more careful feeding a monster. They always bite. It’s our nature." I realize that Pandora has betrayed me. A deep feeling of anguish settles over me.

My heart pounds rapidly as my tears increase. Is this betrayal? I don’t like this emotion. I want to go back to how things were before.

"Hahaha, what a pathetic expression, grandma. You want to go back to how things were before? Grandma, there is no ’before’ anymore. I will never let you return to your previous state."

"If you returned to your previous state, you’d have no trauma, no pain, no resentment—nothing. You’d just go back to being the emotionless Oriane. You wouldn’t even try to take revenge. You’d just be more cautious around me."

"But now? Now you’ll be traumatized, sad, and now you can also truly love me. It’ll be fun making you love me—I’m looking forward to it." Her tail slides along my thigh, rubbing against it.

"S-Stop..."

"Hmmm... your current begging is more fear of pain and death... too bad I don’t hear hatred in your voice. I love it when a girl hates me and I make her like me. But I won’t be ungrateful—it’s faster since you don’t hate me." She licks my chest while squeezing my throat harder.

"Huh?... HAHAHAHAHA" She starts laughing at me while I can’t move.

"You pissed yourself." She brings the hand that was in my mouth up to her face as if she can’t contain her laughter.

’My body did that on its own. Why? I didn’t tell it to do that...’ I don’t understand, but a heavy feeling of shame and self-disgust washes over me. Why is even my body betraying me?

"How pathetic, how pathetic hahahaha. Dirtying the floor of our house. If I told anyone an omnipotent did this, no one would believe me. It’s also funny that your body had this function you never used when you were omnipotent. Truly a body molded after a mortal’s... I like that. It’s good to know your body is perfectly the body of a normal girl." Something in this humiliation makes Pandora’s voice take on a tone of sadistic pleasure.

"I’ll give you a bath before we continue. I’m not a fan of fucking dirty little girls. I think that’s what they say—taking care of old people is hard, right, grandma? You can’t even hold it in. It’s almost cute." She starts dragging me, still holding my throat, as I feel everything beginning to go dark.

"Looks like you’re going to pass out. Your first time fainting in your entire existence, right? Enjoy it. When you wake up, you’ll already be clean. Sweet dreams, grandma. And never forget—I am the ONLY true Pandora. Next time you tell me to let someone replace me, expect something much worse, you idiot."

"And don’t think you’ll go back to normal. Can you break this rule that limits you? Yes, of course you can. But you won’t, because it’s a ’self-imposed’ rule by your own existence. So grandma, I hope you enjoy the experience of being like this now—forever."
