The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1789: My kingdom requires subjects

Chapter 1789: My kingdom requires subjects

"Hahahahahaha!"

Cain burst into laughter, exhilaration clear in his expression as he watched his body rapidly return to peak condition. Unlike Meylin, whose body was composed primarily of psychic power and thus could regenerate using her Depravita Aura, Cain’s body was fundamentally different. He couldn’t simply absorb any random energy to heal himself.

However, thanks to the Scarlet Throne channeling an immense reservoir of vitality directly into his veins, he discovered that as long as his heart and brain remained in place—even by a thread—he could quickly return from near-death injuries.

"This regenerative ability surpasses even the Rebirth Mark’s Pseudo-Immortal Body. Once my internal realm evolves fully to the ArchDeity Rank, I might even achieve instantaneous regeneration."

Cain was utterly thrilled with his body’s newfound resilience. Given that he no longer possessed the almost indestructible physique from his Primordial Body, such a powerful regenerative ability was more than welcome. This gave him an immense sense of security, empowering his confidence to face threats he would have previously hesitated against.

Yet, Cain didn’t allow himself much time to revel in this newfound strength. His expression quickly grew serious, his eyes sharpening as he turned once more toward the trembling figure of the Blood Queen in the distance.

"Time to end this," Cain muttered coldly, determination blazing fiercely in his eyes.

Lilith shuddered violently, her face pale with terror as she once again felt the monstrous gaze of Cain fixed upon her. She attempted to speak or plead, desperate for mercy, but before she could utter a single word, Cain was already upon her. With a brutality that defied comprehension, he struck her chest with an open palm.

Rather than sending Lilith flying through the air, the force of his blow created a vacuum-like suction, pinning her helplessly in place. In an instant, a torrent of red flames surged forth from Cain’s hand, penetrating deep into her physical body and beyond. The scarlet fire invaded her Soul Dimension, swiftly engulfing it with overwhelming sealing power.

Lilith’s eyes widened in absolute terror, but it took mere moments—no more than three seconds—for her gaze to lose all light. Her entire being became immobilized, frozen with an expression of pure horror etched onto her features. Sealed completely in both mind and body, the Blood Queen could no longer move, speak, or even choose to end her own existence.

Cain continued pouring flames into Lilith’s inert form until she was completely enclosed within an immense scarlet cocoon, a prison sturdy enough to thwart any attempt by even powerful Prima Deities to break free. Although he could have easily assimilated her immediately, Lilith’s fate lay within the second Astral Black Hole. The fate of her Divine Kingdom, however, required immediate attention.

"Meylin," Cain softly called out.

Upon hearing her name, the dark fog that had previously engulfed the entire Divine Kingdom swiftly withdrew, rising gracefully into the sky. Meylin’s face was noticeably pale from the considerable effort she had expended during the battle, yet the efficiency of her work was truly astounding.

Despite the fierce combat above that had left the skies cracked and filled with destructive energies, the realm itself remained untouched—pristine, as though the violent confrontation had never occurred. All billions of vampires dwelling within the kingdom were unharmed, slowly regaining their consciousness as if awakening from a collective dream.

Cain offered Meylin a warm, appreciative smile filled with genuine gratitude before turning his attention back toward the recovering vampires.

"I can teleport them back to the realm if you wish," the powerful voice of the Lord of the Void echoed clearly within the Divine Kingdom. Having observed Cain closely during the battle, the ancient ArchDeity recognized that Cain held a certain compassion for the weak and helpless. Moreover, he was feeling particularly generous after successfully defying the Ancestor of Heaven and Earth, and thus felt inclined to offer aid.

Cain turned toward the imposing embodiment of void energy in the Chaos Beyond the Realm and gently shook his head. "That won’t be necessary," he replied calmly. "After all, my kingdom requires subjects."

Hearing Cain’s words, the Lord of the Void couldn’t help but frown slightly. Although the Blood Queen had been defeated decisively, her influence over her followers was not to be underestimated. The degree of brainwashing that a Prima Deity typically imposed upon their followers was profound. Many of Lilith’s devotees might resist fiercely, potentially even resorting to suicidal attacks against Cain in zealous defiance.

Yet before the Lord of the Void could voice these concerns aloud, he saw Cain close his left and right eyes simultaneously, focusing all of his formidable energy into the third eye on his forehead. Immediately, that eye burst open, erupting with intense, crimson flames that blazed brighter than the core of a star on the brink of going supernova.

In the next instant, a massive Eye of Gluttony materialized high above the Divine Kingdom. Its presence was overwhelming, radiating not only the profound power of the Oniric Truth of Gluttony but also exuding the irresistible authority of the Oniric Truth of Dominion. Every vampire instinctively raised their heads, their gazes inexorably drawn to the awe-inspiring, monstrous eye above.

As their eyes locked onto that dreadful presence, flashes of red light surged through their pupils, penetrating deeply into their minds and souls. The vampires’ wills and consciousness were swiftly overwhelmed, replaced by an irresistible impulse toward obedience and submission, without hindering their abilities to think for themselves or harming their talent.

A flicker of surprise and genuine approval appeared briefly in the Lord of the Void’s gaze as he observed Cain’s impressive mastery of these profound truths, appreciating just how expertly the Neo-Demon wielded their combined influence.

"That should be sufficient for most of them," the Lord of the Void noted calmly, "but those who have touched upon the Truths themselves might resist."

Cain and Meylin soon saw the truth in those words. Several dozen Void Eclipse Legends among the vampires began struggling, clearly attempting to resist the overwhelming influence of the giant eye.

Meylin sighed quietly, raising her palm to summon her blade. Although she disliked harming ordinary mortals, she held no reservations about slaying powerful Legends who had deeply immersed themselves in cultivation. Since they refused to submit, their deaths seemed inevitable.

Yet before Meylin could act, a golden glow ignited within the giant eye, subtly adjusting itself to the Legends’ emotional state and intentions. This new wave of influence penetrated deeper into their psyches, touching upon their innermost memories, dreams, and desires—gently, yet irresistibly, eroding their resistance. Slowly but surely, even these powerful Legends lost themselves completely, overwhelmed by the all-encompassing dominion emanating from Cain.

After ten minutes, the great Eye of Gluttony vanished from the sky. Cain opened his own eyes slowly, gazing calmly over the billions of vampires, each now kneeling reverently on the ground before him. They bowed their heads in unison, their voices rising together in unwavering devotion.

"Hail the Scarlet King!"
