Chapter 1839: Third Realm Primordial (I)
Chapter 1839: Third Realm Primordial (I)
The Crimsonsky Continent was massive, vast beyond imagination, and naturally, such an enormous landmass possessed numerous remarkable geological features. Among these were countless volcanoes scattered across the landscape, but one stood out above all others—infamous and ominously named "One in a Million."
The reason behind its name wasn’t due to the uniqueness of its structure, nor to its grandeur, but rather because it erupted precisely once every million years. When that inevitable moment arrived, it unleashed catastrophic devastation that annihilated everything for hundreds of thousands of kilometers in all directions. The explosive eruption possessed such destructive force that even mighty ArchDeities would hesitate to confront it directly. Because of this, no organization dared build headquarters or settlements anywhere near the vicinity, as any structure would inevitably vanish when the fateful eruption occurred. It simply wasn’t worth the continuous loss of resources.
Normally, One in a Million remained deserted, left alone even during its dormant period, as constant waves of toxic ash polluted the air, rendering the environment utterly uninhabitable for cultivators below the Third Realm. However, today was different; today, the volcano received an extraordinary visitor.
Cain hovered calmly high above the zenith of the colossal volcano, his sharp gaze penetrating deep into the fiery depths as he began to analyze its interior. He could feel the presence of immense and turbulent chaotic energy stored within, waiting to be unleashed. This energy was exactly the catalyst he required for his evolution, yet a slight frown appeared on his face as his analysis revealed a critical problem.
"I can feel it. There’s enough chaotic energy of all kinds stored within to trigger my breakthrough," Cain murmured, his eyes narrowing slightly. "But it will take at least another hundred thousand years for it to erupt naturally."
Cain was powerful and patient, but not patient enough to wait a hundred thousand years. With decisive action, he waved his hand, releasing enormous amounts of precious treasures into the volcano’s mouth. The sheer wealth he casually tossed inside would make even a Prima Deity gasp in shock, yet Cain felt no regret. Wealth could always be regained, but time was irreplaceable.
As the treasures melted into the volcanic magma, the energy levels inside surged dramatically. The magma churned violently, and the heat intensified tremendously, causing deep tremors that shook the volcano’s very foundation.
"In just a few hours..." Cain whispered, a satisfied smile crossing his lips.
Cain was never one to waste precious moments. Even as he waited for the volcano to reach its explosive climax, his gaze turned cold. With another effortless gesture, he summoned the Atrox Immortus cultivator he had captured a few days prior. No mercy or hesitation existed in Cain’s heart as he lifted the man into the air, his hand glowing with a fierce golden radiance.
In an instant, Cain plunged his glowing hand directly into the Atrox cultivator’s body, reaching into the Evolution Core. Utilizing The Flow and his profound mastery over Laws, Cain extracted the Evolution Core without damaging it. Without hesitation, he sent this precious Sacred Organ directly into his Inner World.
Immediately, the majestic World Tree within Cain’s Inner World stretched out its countless branches, swiftly enveloping the Sacred Organ, and began greedily absorbing its immense Law insights and pure energy. The landmass within Cain’s Inner Universe expanded rapidly, becoming larger, sturdier, and increasingly enriched with powerful energies.
Yet Cain didn’t stop there. With ruthless efficiency, he plunged his hand once more into the Atrox cultivator’s chest, extracting the man’s Rebirth Heart, along with the Rank 10 Lightning-type Astral Supremacy Star it contained. Previously, due to limitations of the Gluttony Module, Cain would have been forced to abandon or discard his Rank 9 Gravity-type Astral Supremacy Star. However, thanks to the module’s recent evolution, he could now simultaneously accommodate up to four powerful celestial bodies within his being.
A surge of brilliant Lightning Star Power erupted from Cain’s body, eliciting a satisfied smile from him. Yet, he had no time to waste. Without its Evolution Core and Rebirth Heart, the Atrox cultivator rapidly aged, his body decaying at an accelerated pace. Cain knew he had mere minutes before the man’s death, so he quickly took action.
His eyes glowed fiercely, and the next moment, an enormous, majestic gateway manifested behind him.
"RUMBLE!!!"
With earth-shattering force, the Scarlet Throne opened, releasing waves of overwhelming psychic power that caused the entire region to tremble violently. Even Cain himself was momentarily stunned by the sheer magnitude of the energy emanating from the Scarlet Throne of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Its psychic force was beyond immense, rivaling, if not exceeding, the power of the Scarlet Throne within the Crimson World, a throne that had consumed the souls of ArchDeities.
Understanding quickly dawned on Cain, and a pleased smile appeared on his lips. "It seems the Scarlet Leviathans have grown powerful enough to transmit portions of the souls they devour back to the throne. They’ve been fighting relentlessly," Cain mused aloud, appreciating the fruits of his meticulously laid plans.
Although the fragment of a single Divine cultivator’s soul was insignificant on its own, and even millions combined wouldn’t equal an ArchDeity, the accumulation of tens of millions could create a quantity of energy that rivaled quality—especially at such enormous scales.
Cain’s smile persisted briefly before it suddenly transformed into a chillingly cold expression filled with murderous intent. The moment he returned to his homeland, he intended to reunite with his people—but this reunion would also herald the beginning of an unprecedented massacre. The carnage that would unfold would render the Omega War between Divine Calamity and Divine Sea a mere child’s play by comparison.
Cain shook his head slightly, dismissing those future visions with clarity. "Let’s not get ahead of ourselves."
After calmly uttering those words, Cain effortlessly tossed the Atrox cultivator’s dying body into the Scarlet Throne, allowing the throne to swiftly dissect and assimilate the man’s ego and remaining soul fragments. Immediately, a vast flood of knowledge, Law insights, and Conceptual understanding surged through Cain’s consciousness. He stood silently, processing the immense influx of memories and insights.
When Cain finally opened his eyes again, they shone brighter and sharper than ever before. Beneath him, the volcano’s immense energy had reached its critical tipping point. The entire mountain vibrated violently, ready to erupt with earth-shaking force.
Cain’s lips curled upward into a confident, fearless smile. The moment he’d awaited had finally arrived.
