Chapter 1844: I am immortal
Chapter 1844: I am immortal
"Time to hunt."
Cain’s eyes gleamed with predatory focus. The path ahead was clear, and he had no time to waste.
Although his understanding of the Laws of Gravity, Space, and Time was already extraordinarily deep—thanks to decades of personal comprehension and insights stolen from Divine Calamity—he knew that studying other Prima Deities could still help.
Even if their insights didn’t surpass his, they would still offer variations and deviations, small but vital fragments that might complete the tapestry of his understanding. The Laws of the universe weren’t static—they were alive, in motion, refracted through countless interpretations. Cain aimed to absorb every one of them.
But Laws weren’t the only thing on his list. He also needed high-grade Star Power of the Earth, Wind, and Water attributes—crucial ingredients to activate the Worldcell Ascension Method, and ideally to push beyond even that.
Fortunately, thanks to the memories he had absorbed from numerous Prima Deities during his conquest of the Crimsonsky Continent, Cain knew exactly where to find his targets.
He moved like a wraith across the continent.
For the next three months, Prima Deities began to vanish without a trace. There were no shocking battles shaking the heavens. No divine duels lighting up the skies. No grand clashes that drew the attention of the world. They simply disappeared.
Everyone knew what it meant.
The figure behind this quiet purge was so powerful that these mighty cultivators didn’t even have the chance to resist. Not even to cry for help.
Panic rippled through the organizations across the continent. Desperation surged as sects, temples, and clans sent prayers and pleas to the ArchDeity—the flaming skull-headed guardian of the Crimsonsky Continent.
The ArchDeity knew exactly who was behind the disappearances. Cain.
But as long as Cain kept himself hidden, the ArchDeity had no reliable way to trace or confront him. Cain had become a ghost—a shadow among shadows. And eventually, even the ArchDeity’s fury dulled into irritation, then indifference.
He made one final gesture.
Rising into the highest skies above the continent, the ArchDeity summoned all of his power and shouted with all the force of his realm-shaking soul. The echo of his divine roar tore across the atmosphere—but it had yet to reach the earth when his figure faded and vanished, returning to his ArchDeity Heaven.𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢
Somewhere else—deep within a fortress-citadel of one of the continent’s strongest organizations—Cain stood in silence, holding a Godslayer Human by the throat.
The man thrashed in his grip, but his soul and energy had been completely sealed. There was no escape.
Then a voice echoed reached the room.
"YOU OWE ME ONE."
It wasn’t just a message. It was a divine proclamation, reverberating through the very fabric of the Crimsonsky Continent.
Cain looked into the distance and smirked. He recognized the voice.
With a sharp gleam in his eyes, he triggered his Primordial Force of Horizonless Travel, phased through the fortress walls, and vanished like mist. No one even noticed his departure.
Once he arrived in a secluded and secure area, Cain didn’t hesitate.
He pierced the Godslayer’s chest, reached into his Rebirth Heart, and extracted the Astral Supremacy Star nested within. The moment it emerged, it was devoured by the [Gluttony Module], feeding Cain’s ever-growing power.
Then, as if it were the most casual act in the world, Cain manifested the Scarlet Throne and tossed the man’s body inside, allowing his laws, soul fragments, and cultivation base to become nourishment for the expanding kingdom inside Cain’s Alter Ego.
There was a time when the term "Prima Deity" struck fear into Cain’s heart. Back then, such entities seemed invincible—divine weapons who ruled heaven and earth.
But now?
To Cain, they were nothing more than timber—building blocks for a divine empire still growing within him.
The thought made him smile.
But his focus quickly returned as elemental Star Power erupted from his form.
Lightning, fire, wind, earth, and water swirled around him in a storm of celestial force. These weren’t ordinary energies—they were Rank 10 Star Powers, their quality rivaling or exceeding anything wielded by the continent’s elite.
Cain was going all in.
He wasn’t aiming for the standard form of the Worldcell Ascension Method, which granted the Rakshasa Immortal Body. No, his goal was far beyond that:
The Primordial Mazinger Indestructible Body.
With that physique, his very flesh and blood would be able to ignore 90% of all physical attacks from an Early ArchDeity. Combined with his Proto-Laws and bloodline powers, his durability would become legendary.
After a few seconds, the raging elemental aura calmed, and Cain took a deep breath.𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
"System, scan me."
The familiar voice of the A.I. Chip Module echoed in his mind.

Cain stared at the report, stunned. His breath caught in his throat.
"I... I’m immortal?"
Not metaphorically. Not in the poetic sense.
Truly immortal.
