The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1856: The Night Prince’s evolution?

Chapter 1856: The Night Prince’s evolution?

The Prima Deities suspended in the sky could not help but stare at Rylanor in utter shock and disbelief. A hybrid between the Light and Dark Races was considered a profound taboo, something that defied the natural order itself.

Even for those strong enough to rise above blind racial hatred, the very concept was still anathema, deeply unsettling on a psychological level. After all, from a very young age, they were taught to see the other races as disgusting, and that mentality was not easy to surpass.

Seeing one such hybrid shocked them profoundly, but as they shifted their gaze across the battlefield, realization dawned upon them. Rylanor was far from alone.

More and more Scarlet Path warriors surged forward, emanating an intense crimson psychic energy. Their features visibly morphed, revealing unmistakable hybrid characteristics that swiftly numbered in the thousands.

Andrew and the other Prima Deities turned toward Cain, their eyes filled with confusion and dread. This revelation was catastrophic; Cain had now made himself the target of countless powerful organizations, perhaps even the entirety of the Everstrife Empyrean World itself!

Cain felt the multitude of astonished gazes upon him, yet his calm, confident smile remained unwavering. Indeed, he could have continued hiding the true nature of his followers and the Scarlet Path, playing it safe to avoid unnecessary risks. But he had already made his intentions clear—it was time to stop hiding.

The Scarlet King refused to continue moving cautiously, carefully concealing his strength since he had already reached the ArchDeity Rank in battle power. If he sought true transcendence, he needed to act according to his nature—he needed to challenge the entire world directly, confront its threats openly, and ultimately conquer everything in his path.

There was no doubt that it would be arduous. Countless threats and enemies would rise against him, his people, and the way they see the world. But he was prepared.

He would be both spear and shield for his warriors, protecting them from harm while personally leading them into battle to slaughter anyone standing in their way. Absolute determination burned fiercely in his eyes, radiant with the confidence of a man ready to reshape the world itself.

Below him, chaos erupted throughout the fortress. Hundreds of thousands of Divine Cultivators filled the battleground, each one considered an elite by ordinary standards. Yet, despite their numbers and strength, they could not halt the unstoppable onslaught unleashed by the Scarlet Path warriors.

Had all the cultivators under the banner of Divine Calamity Heaven unified immediately, perhaps they might have presented a formidable opposition. But unity was impossible. These cultivators hailed from diverse organizations and sects, brought together solely under Divine Calamity’s might—alliances born from convenience, not camaraderie. Compared to the Scarlet Path warriors’ perfect synergy and singular purpose, their fragmented ranks quickly crumbled.

Furthermore, the warriors of the Scarlet Path were selectively targeting their foes. They struck down only those they perceived as incompatible with the new world envisioned by their lord. Those fortunate enough to remain unmarked quickly withdrew from the battlefield, reluctant to intervene for fear of provoking the wrath of the figure who effortlessly subdued even Prima Deities with sheer presence alone.

At the forefront of the slaughter was Rylanor, whose momentum surged exponentially with each passing second. His figure transformed into surging waves of white flame, streaking from enemy to enemy with terrifying speed. Every strike carried the crushing weight of a world and the burning fury of a sun, obliterating foes in flashes of brilliant white fire.

Nearby, Magnus displayed a different yet equally devastating style. With precise, calculated movements, he deftly deflected enemy spells, redirecting lethal energies back toward other opponents. Then, in swift bursts, he moved through space-time itself, teleporting instantly next to his targets. His sword flashed like lightning, cleanly slicing Divine Transcendent Masters apart before they could even realize they had been struck.

Cain observed his two sons’ performances with quiet pride, a subtle smile on his lips. Rylanor and Magnus had both faced the grueling Nine Heavens Ego Destruction Tribulation, significantly strengthening their souls. However, unlike Cain, they had not walked the Path of Dual Cultivation.

Instead, they concentrated all their energy, soul, and willpower along a single cultivation route. Though this narrowed their versatility, it exponentially increased their potential in battle, allowing them to leap an entire cultivation rank in pure combat effectiveness.

Yet, Rylanor and Magnus were not the only warriors exhibiting overwhelming might on the battlefield. Cain’s attention shifted to the Thirteen Stars of Doomsday, whose performance was nothing short of extraordinary. These formidable warriors easily dispatched multiple Peak Divine Transcendent Masters simultaneously, clearly demonstrating their immense gains from integrating with the Scarlet Leviathan and evolving their latent talents beyond ordinary limits.

Two individuals among the Thirteen Stars particularly stood out. The Collapsing Lightning Emperor wielded thunderous power reminiscent of cosmic storms. Every enemy he vanquished fed his lightning, siphoning their blood and vitality back into him. His strength continuously surged throughout the battle, turning every slain opponent into fuel for further escalation of his might.

The other exceptional figure was Zero Mint, whose sword burned fiercely with sapphire-blue flames embodying absolute destruction. The power concentrated on his blade’s edge could cleave effortlessly through anything. Each strike left trails of flames that devoured enemies’ energy before returning obediently to Mint himself. This devouring ability stemmed from the profound fusion of the Concepts of Life and Gluttony embedded deep within his soul, steadily enhancing his strength with every defeated foe.

Amidst even these extraordinary fighters, one presence towered above all others.

“ROOOOOOAAARRRRRR! ”

A deafening roar shook the heavens as a titanic serpent, its body stretching a million meters, erupted from the essence of one of the Scarlet Path warriors.

“The Night Prince?!” gasped several Prima Deities in disbelief, their gazes locked onto the figure from which the colossal serpent had emerged. They could scarcely comprehend what they were witnessing. The Night Prince had an ancient feud with the Scarlet King, yet here he stood as one of his greatest warriors.
