The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1871: The end of the Omega War (I)

Chapter 1871: The end of the Omega War (I)

Smiles slowly spread across the faces of the Prima Deities as they felt control return to their bodies. The seals that once suppressed their energy and locked their souls had shattered. Yet despite their regained freedom, not a single one dared to move.

Cain’s power was undeniable.

Even in his current state, weakened from battle, he remained overwhelmingly powerful. With four Prima Deities—Sky Sovereign, Alcuard, Pation, and Lancer—loyal to his command, he could wipe them out in a matter of minutes if he chose to. And more importantly, many of them, upon witnessing his might firsthand, were already considering the benefits of switching allegiances.

After all, none had followed Divine Calamity out of loyalty. He was merely a powerful shield, a dominant force who could keep them protected from rival Omega-tier influences. But now, the Scarlet King stood revealed—and he was undeniably stronger.

Siding with Cain wasn’t just safer.

It was the better option.

Cain stood in silence, his golden eyes sweeping over the gathered deities. His gaze pierced deep into their souls, revealing their intentions and emotions as clearly as if they had spoken them aloud.

Then, he turned to the groups from the Endlesslight and Shadowcradle Continents.

"You may return to your lands, or not. I don’t care," Cain said, his voice even but cold. "But you will not remain here."

Before either Nuvallir or Auramyth, the strongest Prima Deities from their respective continents, could respond, Cain’s voice rang out again—this time sharper, heavier with finality.

"The time for pledging alliances as equals is over. I will visit your homes soon. But there will be no negotiations. No treaties. No alliances."

His eyes glowed, and his next words were laced with a chilling resolve.

"Only subjugation."

Silence fell.

They hadn’t fought beside him when things were uncertain. They had not taken a stand when it mattered. And now that the battle was over, now that Cain had stood victorious—now they wanted to join him? No. The universe was not so merciful. He would arrive at their gates, and when he did, it wouldn’t matter whether they wished to follow him or not.

They would bow.

Or be broken.

Before the Prima Deities of Endlesslight and Shadowcradle could fully process his declaration, Cain shifted his gaze to those from the Everlife Continent, particularly those representing the Golden Star Kingdom and Eclipse School.

"You may return to the Everlife Continent if you wish," Cain said, "but understand this: that land is now part of my dominion. Anything that cannot follow the Scarlet Path..."

He paused, his gaze hardening.

"...will be cleansed."

A ripple of instinctive dread swept through the Prima Deities.

"W-What kind of... cleansing?" one of the High Elders of the Eclipse School asked hesitantly, his voice cracking.

Cain stared at the man with a calm expression—but his eyes burned with a silent inferno.

"The kind fire brings to a sick forest," he answered simply.

The Elder trembled as the image of a raging inferno consumed his mind. A fire that didn’t just destroy—but purged, burned away the old, the corrupt, and the diseased, leaving behind only the ashes of what had been. It was a vision of relentless rebirth, born through annihilation.

"Nothing escapes my sight," Cain continued. "There is no point in pretending. If I see that you do not belong in the world I intend to build—then there will only be one fate for you."

Behind him, the silhouette of the Scarlet Throne manifested in full. Its appearance filled the hearts of all present with unspeakable dread.

To die was one thing.

But to be absorbed into that throne, into a realm of eternal torment where one became an endless source of psychic energy and soul fuel—that was a fate far worse than any death.

The Elder immediately turned toward Alcuard, his eyes pleading for help.

He was no saint. Far from it. His power was steeped in pain, in twisted desires he had long indulged, sheltered by his status. His victims had always been carefully chosen—hidden, unimportant. Under Divine Calamity’s shadow, he was safe.

But under the Scarlet King?

No longer.

Alcuard met the Elder’s gaze—but did not look away. His own eyes were sharp, cold, and resolute. There was no hesitation. His allegiance had been decided.

Cain glanced at Alcuard and gave a small nod, then waved his hand dismissively.

"Leave now—and take with you the last bit of my mercy," Cain said, his voice like thunder rolling through a silent sky. "The next time we meet, there will be no more chances. You will either embrace my vision and grow with me, or burn."

The hearts of the gathered Prima Deities froze.

There was no more room for hesitation. Without another word, they launched into the sky and vanished in streaks of energy, fleeing the Endlessdeath Continent like shadows before a rising sun.

Cain watched them go, tracking each movement, ensuring they left the continent. Only when he was certain they were gone did he shift his gaze toward the remaining figures—Andrew and the last remnants of Divine Calamity’s faction.

They had been paralyzed in place, still reeling from the catastrophic defeat of their leader.

Cain’s eyes glowed—and in the next instant, all three fell unconscious, their minds sealed in an endless dream crafted by Cain’s will before being sent into his Soul Dimension.

Only then did Cain turn his attention back to his loyal followers: Alcuard, Pation, Lancer, and Karter.

He studied each of them carefully before raising his hand.

The Scarlet Throne manifested once more—its gates swinging open as a surge of energy pulsed outward. The four Prima Deities instinctively braced themselves, feeling the power of the throne targeting them. Fear flickered in their hearts—not because they believed Cain would betray them, but because the Scarlet Throne itself was a terrifying presence.

But instead of trying to consume them, streams of psychic power and soul force flowed gently outward, reaching into their Soul Dimensions like warm currents of divine light.

Though nervous, they remained calm and waited to see what would happen to them.
