The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1883: Leaving the world empty (II)

Cain’s presence immediately spread across the entire Everlife Continent. Every single organization gazed into the sky, feeling a mixture of wonder, dread, and admiration as they sensed his overwhelming arrival. The news of a change in rulership throughout the continent had already become a widely accepted fact, especially after the shocking return of the Sky Sovereign—a legendary entity thought to have perished millions of years ago—and the consolidation of power by the Prima Deities from the Gu Sect and the leader of the Eclipse School.

In the past months, these four Prima Deities had already begun spreading the influence of the Scarlet Path across the continent, initiating a massive purge that reached catastrophic proportions. Some organizations were merely inspected, carefully scrutinized, and left to their own devices if found acceptable, while others were mercilessly exterminated without a second thought.

Notably, this process wasn’t limited to weaker organizations at the Holy or lower tiers; even powerful Lord-Tier organizations such as the Golden Star Kingdom faced swift and brutal eradication. Thousands upon thousands of cultivators from the Golden Star Kingdom were slaughtered without resistance, as their own Prima Deities had chosen not to return home, abandoning their kingdom altogether.

The Golden Star Kingdom’s Prima Deities understood clearly that returning meant facing compatibility tests with the Scarlet Path—tests they knew they would fail, ultimately leading to their assimilation into the Scarlet Throne. Thus, rather than confronting such an inevitable fate, they fled.

A similar scenario played out among the Elders of the Eclipse School, leaving only Alucard, who now held sole authority over the entire school. Although the cleansing process was undeniably bloody and ruthless, the actual number of deaths was comparatively low. This was mainly because most of the wicked and evil Divine Cultivators had already been massacred by the Scarlet Path’s forces at the shore of the Endlessdeath Continent during the previous conflict. Furthermore, the four Prima Deities had adhered strictly to Cain’s command, refusing to harm any lifeforms below the Divine Realm.

Cain understood very well that many of these lower-level individuals would struggle to adapt to the Scarlet Path. However, it was still possible to open their minds to a new path, so they would get a chance. Even those beyond redemption were easier to control and suppress at lower cultivation levels, rendering their rebellion virtually harmless. In other words, these people would have a chance to amend their ways, embrace the Scarlet Path, or else face imprisonment and eventual extermination if they refused.

Upon his arrival in the Everlife Continent, Cain easily acquired a detailed understanding of everything that had transpired in his absence by directly tapping into the Scarlet Leviathans within Alucard and the others. A broad smile appeared on his face as he felt deep satisfaction with their ruthless yet precise approach: Absolute brutality when necessary, tempered by mercy and opportunity when earned.

Although he was very satisfied, this was not the time for praise. Cain’s sharp gaze quickly located an empty, desolate region near a vast mountain range along the continent’s coastline. This place lacked any significant living creatures or valuable resources, making it ideal for his purpose. Without hesitation, Cain waved his hand, instantly flattening the terrain with astonishing ease, eradicating mountains and leveling the landscape.

Then, without delay, he began constructing the counterpart of the enormous teleportation formation that he had previously set up on Aether. The formation Cain forged in this vast, flattened region was breathtakingly massive, capable of effortlessly handling the simultaneous passage of billions of souls from Aether into the Everlife Continent. A complicated expression briefly crossed Cain’s face as he thought about the vast amount of precious materials he was using for the formation, but soon he dismissed the concern entirely. Wealth was something he could always obtain again; time was the only truly irreplaceable resource.

He understood clearly that for his grand ambitions to unfold smoothly in the Everstrife Empyrean World, he needed to establish an unshakeable foundation. He wanted to demonstrate unequivocally that the Scarlet Path was viable, capable of uniting the Sacred Races’ Light and Dark camps. It would prove to all skeptics that their deeply entrenched animosity was baseless, unnecessary, and ultimately absurd. Yet, this was just part of Cain’s overarching motivations. Equally crucial was that he needed Aether completely empty for the future plans already taking shape within his mind.

While Cain diligently worked on completing the formation, five familiar figures appeared quietly in the sky above him: the Sky Sovereign, Alucard, Pation, Karter, and Lancer. The eyes of the latter four glowed fiercely with intense scarlet flames, brimming with the psychic power derived from their Scarlet Leviathans. Clearly, they had not wasted the opportunity, using the cultivators they’d slain during their cleansing operations to fuel the growth of their Leviathans.

Upon seeing Cain and the tremendous formation he was constructing, the group’s eyes widened noticeably. Even though Cain appeared to be casually forging the formation without significant effort, the profound spatial forces emanating from it deeply startled the group. They could perceive an incredibly sophisticated understanding of spatial principles that surpassed anything they had ever encountered, leaving them utterly speechless.𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

None of the Prima Deities made a single sound. Instead, they silently observed, respectfully staying back as they studied and appreciated the cosmic forces radiating powerfully from Cain’s handiwork.

Once Cain completed the formation, he did not speak a single word. Instead, he silently ascended high into the sky, adopting a meditative posture as he closed his eyes. The immense figure of Primarch of Conquest Leviathan slowly emerged behind him, radiating an overwhelming aura.

Although the Sky Sovereign, Alucard, Pation, Karter, and Lancer had countless things they wished to discuss with Cain, none of them dared disturb him. They simply stood quietly, respectfully waiting for him to finish.

Cain’s eyes remained closed, yet the waves of psychic energy emanating from him expanded further and further, creating an ocean of power around his figure. Simultaneously, an unusual and potent energy began gathering deep within Leviathan’s core. This mysterious force grew rapidly, soon becoming so intense that the Sky Sovereign and the other four Prima Deities could not help but fixate their attention entirely upon it. They gazed at the ArchDeity Alter-Ego with profound curiosity, wondering just what incredible technique or new power Cain was preparing.

Then, at precisely that moment—when curiosity and anticipation had reached their peak—the enormous teleportation formation below suddenly erupted into brilliant, dazzling light, flooding the surroundings with radiant illumination.
