Chapter 1915: Cain’s Resurreción
Chapter 1915: Cain’s Resurreción
"He is right." It was Cain’s voice that echoed across the sky. "No matter what, I will kill you three. Run as far as you want, but you will not escape my wrath."
Instead of trying to shatter their unity or break their will, Cian confirmed Divine Calamity’s words. It was a declaration not only to his enemies but to the world itself, of the price of targeting the Scarlet Path.
Azan and Marcus exchanged glances, silent but certain, and gave each other a firm nod. Determination once again surged in their hearts. There was no escape. No other path. If they had to fight, then so be it. They would fight.
After all, Divine Calamity was right.
The power of the Empyrean World’s continent was vast—capable of enhancing one’s might beyond measure. Yet even that power was not something incomprehensible or unreachable. It merely elevated someone to the next stage, and barely.
Cain’s wounds had not fully healed, and even though the full force of the Everlife Continent was now coursing through his veins, he could still be defeated. They had proven it once—they were capable of wounding him, and if fate allowed, they could finish it now.
The eyes of the Scarlet King shimmered with golden light as he stared down at the trio. A small, almost amused smile curled on his lips as he read their minds and gave a solemn nod.
"You are right. If I were to fight you three again, even with the power of Everlife flowing through me, I would most likely lose."
The three Archdeities couldn’t help but smile at those words. But their brief sense of relief was immediately crushed by the sudden change in Cain’s expression. A flicker of coldness passed through his gaze, filled with killing intent.
"Of course," he said with ice in his voice, "I’ll still take at least one of you with me."
That wave of killing might passed just as quickly as it came, replaced by the return of his calm and confident smile.
"However, my life is too valuable to exchange for one of yours. Fortunately... I don’t have to."
Confusion flickered in the eyes of the trio, but Cain offered no explanation. Instead, the next moment, the draco-serpent entity the size of a world emerged from Cain’s Soul Dimension.
Primarch of Conquest Leviathan.
"Not too long ago," Cain began, his voice drifting more to himself than to anyone else, "I managed to refine and enhance my Path. I felt something within me unlock—a new power, one I had never accessed before."
Cain wasn’t addressing his enemies. He was reflecting, his words a revelation not meant to intimidate, but to explore the enlightenment he had attained.
"Liberación Total... it always felt incomplete, as if it didn’t fully express the magnitude of fusion between the Alter-Ego and cultivator. It’s just a melting into the Alter-Ego, nothing more. But this new form? It transcends that."
He paused, glancing downward—not at the terrain, but at the will within it. Deep below the forests, the mountains, and the oceans, he felt him. The will of an old man who had become the soul of the continent itself.𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"With the help of my friend," he continued, referring to Ao, "I was able to take the next step."
And then it happened.
Cain’s aura erupted.
Like a dam breaking, his power exploded outward, rippling through reality. Leviathan’s presence intensified alongside him. In less than a second, a pillar of energy burst skyward, ascending into the void beyond the stars, before their forms shattered into billions of radiant beams.
"RUMBLE!"
The fusion of Cain and Leviathan caused the very fabric of reality to tremble. Lightning split the sky, thunder cracked like celestial drums, and the earth below groaned under the pressure of their transformation. The energy their disintegrated bodies generated began to condense rapidly. Its density increased to such extremes that space twisted around it. Finally, something new emerged in the sky
A majestic red sun.
And then, a voice echoed from within the red sun—a voice unlike anything before it. It carried the weight of cosmic truth, divine justice, and eternal power.
"RESURRECCIÓN!"
The power in that single word shattered the red sun from within.
What remained, emerging from the ashes of that cosmic furnace, was not just a being—it was a new incarnation of destruction and retribution.
He stood tall, forged in divine fire and fury.
Blazing white hair spiked outward from his head like radiant swords, and his scarlet eyes burned with unrelenting intensity. His expression was tranquil yet resolute—the calm that came before a cataclysm.
His body was the perfect fusion of divine flesh and psychic might. His skin was obsidian black, etched with glowing red lines that pulsed like molten rivers of power. At the center of his chest was a black hole, with a radiant star pulsing at its core—his Inner Universe and Astral Supremacy Star in perfect harmony.
Upon his forehead, the Star of Origin blazed, continuously channeling raw World Strength into his frame.
From his back emerged jagged, blade-like halos that seemed to crown his very existence—a divine coronation of conquest.
The sheer magnitude of his presence transformed the air around him into a crimson haze, a tangible manifestation of the overwhelming power coursing through him.
Cain looked down at himself and spoke, not in arrogance, but in pure astonishment.
"It’s as if I’ve achieved perfect unity—flesh, energy, soul, and mind in seamless synchronization. My Laws and Star Power operate as one. This is... amazing."
It was the only word that truly captured the enormity of what he felt.
"Amazing."
The same word echoed in the hearts of all warriors of the Scarlet Path as they bore witness to the evolution of their king.
But awe turned quickly to alarm.
From behind Cain, Hermes materialized in an instant. In his hand, he held a dagger the size of a city, a weapon forged to sever the boundaries of reality itself.
And with a silent roar, he struck.
