The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1932: Ars Goetia

Chapter 1932: Ars Goetia

Cain did not waste a single moment. With a sharp breath and focused mind, he sent his ego directly into the golden sphere.

Instantly, the radiant bubble shattered like glass, revealing an ancient tome suspended in the air. Its cover shimmered with forgotten runes, etched in a language that seemed as old as the universe.

"By rune, by oath, by the blood of legions—we become more than many. We become one."

The words echoed through Cain’s soul the moment his will touched the book. His eyes widened as torrents of knowledge surged into his mind. It wasn’t merely a manual or a record—it was a treasure trove of profound and ancient runic understanding.

But what truly stunned him was that the runes inside it were not enhancements or seals—it was something entirely different.

"Avatars?" the word crossed his mind involuntarily.

The voice of the Samsara Lord responded almost immediately, resonating like thunder across the Samsara Flame.

"Congratulations on obtaining the Tier II Gift: Ars Goetia. An ancient treasure forged with the might of 72 Primeval Gods, constructed with some of the most powerful and arcane runic knowledge. Ars Goetia is not merely a book—it is a living war-command matrix, pulsing with the Soul Echoes of entities older than the stars."

Cain initially felt a moment of disappointment. A Tier II Gift? He had hoped for something higher. But as the explanation unfolded, his interest grew. Rapidly.

He poured his full attention into the formation arrays detailed in the tome. As he understood their purpose and potential, a wave of shock and awe washed over him all the way to his soul.

"Amazing..." he finally whispered, the word barely escaping his lips. And it was deserved.

Ars Goetia did not merely contain diagrams. It was a complete and autonomous system—an advanced strategic weapon made of 72 Runic Formation Arrays. Each of them was a living entity unto itself, a Runic Domain Array capable of uniting the energy, intent, and will of coordinated cultivators to birth Runic War Avatars—shared battle incarnations far more powerful than the sum of their individual parts.

At the core of every formation was a Rune Node, anchored by a Runic Commander. That commander could be a military leader, a general, or any cultivator who could guide the powers of his comrades.

When activated, all energy was funneled into the Rune Node. Power, talent, even Law resonance would merge—manifesting an Avatar of pure war energy.

Of course, this didn’t come easily.

Each cultivator who formed part of a Runic Domain Array would first need the array engraved into their bodies. Cain himself was not a Runic Master, but the Scarlet Kingdom had no shortage of talent. Figures like the Sky Sovereign had already reached the peak of Prima Deity rank and were only one step away from becoming ArchDeities. That level of mastery would suffice.

As Cain reached the section describing the Runic War Avatars themselves, his excitement became uncontainable. Even the most basic array, named The Ember Choir, required a fusion of 1,000 Divine Transcendent Masters. A daunting number—but their combined strength could reach the Early Prima Deity level!

Under normal circumstances, Divine Transcendent Masters weren’t considered a real asset in high-level battles. They couldn’t damage realms or withstand attacks from entities in the Third Realm. But with Ars Goetia, that limitation shattered.

The more he read, the more his mind raced.

At the very end of the tome, he found a section titled The Thrones of Ruin—the final nine Runic War Avatars. Their power reached the Late ArchDeity realm—strong enough to crush even the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan.

Those Runic War Avatars were so powerful that Cain could only face with his Resurrección fully activated.

"With all nine Thrones of Ruin..." Cain muttered, his eyes glowing with crimson fire, "I could conquer the entire world in a single campaign!"

The power of the Path of Conquest surged through him, burning into his soul like a brand. He was intoxicated by the possibilities.

But he tempered his thoughts quickly.

He knew full well that knowledge was not power—not until it was applied. Even with the blueprints of the Thrones of Ruin in his possession, he lacked the necessary components. He would need a great number of powerful cultivators and, more critically, a Runic Master capable of engraving Domain Arrays at the Late ArchDeity level.

That kind of skill was nearly unprecedented, even beyond Cain’s current capabilities. Though he had scratched the surface of ArchDeity-tier Tribulation Enhancement and Genetic Coding, he had a long way to go to reach the peak.

Still, the dream was alive—and he refused to be discouraged.

"Even if the Thrones are beyond my grasp for now," Cain muttered to himself, "with arrays like the Ember Choir and the War Drums of Ascendancy, I can exponentially enhance the Scarlet Kingdom’s power."

His eyes glowed with a mix of wonder and iron resolve. He stared into the heart of the Samsara Flame, and in its chaotic, sacred flickering, he saw the path forward—not just for himself, but for his entire people.

A realm of power. A civilization of evolution. A future where they could challenge the most monstrous forces in the universe.

After a few silent moments of reverence, Cain’s mind shifted gears. The dreams and aspirations remained alive in his chest, but dreams alone were not enough. If he wished to see them manifest, he would need to build them.

He gave a respectful bow to the Samsara Flame and turned his attention back to the Third Level. With deliberate movements, he placed Ars Goetia at the very center of the layer, its power resonating outward, anchoring itself deep into the foundation of the realm.

Next, he returned to the cultivation grounds and constructed a Samsara Anchor—a specialized portal into the Third Level. This gate would be accessible only to elite cultivators who had proven themselves worthy. Once they returned from their missions, they would be able to enter and train in the Soul Enlightenment Mist.

Then, without pause, he flew into the sky and raised his hand once again. A second Samsara Anchor formed—this one connecting to the Second Level. Unlike the first, this portal would be open to the public. Any cultivator could use it to ascend.
