Cain flexed his arm, feeling the supple, living membrane shifting under his skin. With the durability of his body—already monstrous thanks to the Eclipse Monolith Inheritance—only attacks at the level of a Middle ArchDeity could possibly breach his defense. And even then, the damage they caused would be minimal, barely scratching the surface.

After confirming that the Sky Sovereign and the Scarlet Path elites were thriving, Cain departed silently, returning underground to the chamber before the shattered portal of the Ouroboros Cult.
