The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 1984: Five new Prima Deities

Chapter 1984: Five new Prima Deities

The six Chief Councilors of the Scarlet Path were buried in their endless work, managing the expansion of the Path and overseeing the growth of its army.

The Scarlet Path had become a river of wealth, flowing faster with each season—especially after the business agreements struck with Divine Sea Heaven. Fortunes shifted hands daily. But such fortune was as dangerous as it was powerful. If not carefully handled, it could sow corruption, resentment, and chaos.

That wealth needed to be distributed with precision and fairness. Precious prime matter had to be refined into potent treasures and cultivation resources, funneled through the Ouroboros System so warriors could access them. Archdeity-level artifacts also had to be carefully allocated, both as rewards for warriors and as gifts for Divine Sea Heaven, whose allowance had enabled the Scarlet Path’s expansion and its crusade against the wicked.

There was no shortage of such treasures. The space rings and divine relics scavenged from the corpses of the World Breaker and the Lord of the Last Step, along with those unearthed from the Scarlet Pyramid, provided a bounty beyond imagination. However, they were finite and difficult to restore, so they needed to be handled with caution.

Fortunately, the Councilors had access to the capabilities of the [A.I. Chip Module], which aided their calculations. But its presence only drove them to push themselves harder, faster, determined to justify its efficiency. Their faces were pale, exhaustion etched into their eyes. Only Minxet retained his composure, his Third Realm body and soul allowing him to endure what would have broken others.

Despite the exhaustion, none of the Chief Councilors slowed. They did not permit themselves a moment’s rest. Only when a sudden force seized their bodies, lifting them effortlessly into the sky, did their hands finally still. Confusion rippled across Razputin and the others—until they saw him.

The Scarlet King hovered before them, a wide smile etched on his face. His aura filled the air, regal and oppressive.

He had seen the changes wrought across the Everlife Continent during his absence, and even in a few short years, the transformation was staggering.

As he had commanded, the divisions of race were being eroded. It was not yet complete, nor without resistance, but the tide had turned in the right direction. Even more striking was the safety that now permeated towns and cities. No battles scarred their streets; no massacres bled them dry. Mortals and the newly awakened could live without fear. Only those who ascended into the Divine Realms bore the weight of risk—for from that point onward, the Scarlet Path’s safeguards fell away. The cultivation road was dangerous by nature, and if one chose to walk it, they must be prepared to wager their life.

Cain’s voice cut through their reverie.

"Hard work deserves a reward."

Five figures appeared behind him—five bodies, each radiating the aura of a Prime Deity.

At once, Razputin and the others broke into smiles of unrestrained joy. They recognized them. These were the captives seized by the Sky Sovereign and the elite units of the Scarlet Kingdom during their campaign across the domains of the World Breaker and the Lord of the Last Step.

Cain wasted no time. He initiated the Conquest Incarnate Synthesis.

One by one, he merged a Chief Councilor and a Prime Deity body, fusing them within the Primarch of Conquest Leviathan. The process unfolded with the precision of a god’s hand.

The Sky Sovereign had been careful. The vessels matched the race and gender of each Councilor, eliminating complications. Battle power and skill were of little concern—this synthesis was not about combat strength but about granting the Councilors greater vitality, mental clarity, and expanded capacities.

Thanks to the recent evolution of Cain’s soul force and the Scarlet Throne—empowered further by devouring Legion’s living remains—he performed the evolution of all five Councilors simultaneously.

By the end, Razputin and the others gazed upon their new forms with exhilaration. Their bodies radiated vitality, their minds processed thought with speed and precision unimaginable before. Problems that once seemed labyrinthine now resolved themselves as if they were trivial games.

A shout tore from all five throats, echoing in unison.

"HAIL THE SCARLET KING!"

Their eyes blazed with scarlet fire, their souls exultant.

Cain allowed himself a smile—but only for a breath. Then his expression hardened, sharp as a drawn blade. The Councilors immediately fell silent, their faces turning solemn.

"Expand the Scarlet Path into the ShadowCradle and Endlesslight Continents," Cain ordered. "Do as you did with Everlife. Begin the hunts across Divine Sea’s domains with full force. And spread the purging of the wicked into Archdeity Amon’s Witchcraft Heaven and Archdeity Bael’s Brightmarch Heaven. They are now core members of the Scarlet Path—you may call upon their aid in cleansing their domains."

The Chief Councilors froze in awe, then their eyes widened with wonder and devotion. The charisma of the Scarlet King was unquestionable, but even so, the revelation stunned them. To think he had already swayed two Archdeities—one from the Light Camp, one from the Dark—and brought them fully into the Scarlet Path’s fold was almost beyond belief.

What the Councilors did not know was the deeper truth: Amon and Bael were not merely allies but brothers. Cain had no right to reveal that, so he kept the secret.

Cain’s voice pressed onward.

"One final command. From now on, capture the wicked and corrupt alive. Ordinary Divine cultivators, even Prime Deities, hold little value for the Scarlet Throne. But I have another use for them—one that will strengthen us in ways beyond simple energy."

He did not elaborate, nor did he need to. The Chief Councilors bowed deeply, their acceptance absolute.

They returned immediately to their work. If before they had labored with discipline, now they worked with burning zeal, their enhanced bodies and sharpened minds driving them even faster.

Cain lingered only a moment, watching their renewed vigor. The Scarlet Path was growing more swiftly than even he had dared to expect.

But there was no time for rest. Without hesitation, his figure blurred, vanishing into the horizon. His destination: the domain of the oldest Archdeity in the world.
