The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2144: Middle ArchDeity Neo-Demon

Chapter 2144: Middle ArchDeity Neo-Demon

As Cain meditated and waited for the trio to arrive, he realized this was the perfect opportunity to gather flawless, objective intelligence on the strength of his potential enemies.

They might be unable to fight within the Seventh Ring, but once they left, conflict would be inevitable, and he wanted to be prepared. After all, during the last encounter he had with Braldy, he almost died.

The Flow could tell him their general power levels with precision, yet it couldn’t provide accurate data on speed, raw strength, or the deeper resonance of their Oniric Truths. That was why he had evolved his Supercomputer Assistant to the Alpha–Omega Tier, to see what others could not.

Among the three, the strongest was clearly Braldy. His vitality and raw physical force were off the charts, not to mention that his energy pool and soul force carried the radiance of one hundred suns. It took several minutes for the Assistant’s scanning protocols to silently pierce the Neo-Angel’s energy defenses before a mechanical voice echoed in Cain’s mind, accompanied by streams of data.

Cain’s expression didn’t change as it was important to hide what he was doing, but a tension coiled in his chest. The Neo-Angel’s numbers were staggering. He had known there was a vast evolution once a being ascended to the final rank of the Third Realm, but seeing it quantified was still shocking.

"If I had faced him at his peak... a single blow could have shattered me to pieces."

The thought settled heavily in Cain’s mind, filling him with grim respect. He was far stronger now than during their clash in the Fourth Ring, yet Braldy remained truly terrifying.

Next, the Neo-Demon’s eyes turned toward the woman standing beside the Neo-Angel. He hadn’t seen her before, but he knew her name — Ana. She was the one who had nearly taken Oni’s life before his encounter with the blue-skinned old man.

"No wonder Oni had to use his trump card just to escape from her. Her stats are striking, and her Dream seems to be a perfect blend between strength and defense."

Cain had to admit, the woman was formidable. Yet despite her being a Peak Archdeity, and Braldy an Early Alpha–Omega Overgod, the Neo-Angel’s stats were more than double hers, once more making it clear the difference between the two Ranks.

Finally, Cain turned his gaze toward the Crimson Exarch and attempted a similar scan. But the moment the invisible force of the Supercomputer Assistant reached toward the man, the Exarch turned his head and smiled.

The next instant, a message appeared in Cain’s mind.

[Energy barrier has blocked the scanning force.

Would the Host like to attempt a forceful approach?]

Cain’s eyes narrowed slightly. The Assistant had pierced the defenses of an Alpha–Omega Overgod Neo-Angel, yet it failed to even inspect a Middle Archdeity.

"Just who are you...?"

The more he learned about the Crimson Exarch, the more questions arose. After a brief pause, Cain sighed and recalled the scanning probe. A forceful approach would likely be futile, and silence was the wiser path.

With his opponents analyzed, Cain shifted the scan toward himself.

Note: Crimson Light is flooding the Host’s body and soul, increasing physical stats, energy capacity, and soul force.]

A thrill coursed through the Neo-Demon’s heart. He had expected improvement, but not such a monumental leap. The trials through the Rings and the Baptism of the Flow had elevated his cultivation profoundly, completing the growth of his Third Astral Black Hole, awakening the fourth, and raising his Divine Kingdom Path to Level 44.

And even more surprising, thanks to the Crimson Light, every facet of his existence had evolved.

"A forty-percent increase... smaller than the boost from my Primordial Body’s World Strength, but logical. This is an aftereffect. The true power of the Crimson Bloodline lies in my ability to control and command the Aspects of the Flow itself."

The realization pleased him. For the first time in what felt like ages, Cain allowed his mind to relax.

Within the Sacred Dimension, such moments of peace were rare.

Roughly thirty-four hours later, a flash of radiant light tore through the air, and the Enlightened One materialized. A lotus with twenty-one petals glowed upon his forehead.

A faint smile touched Cain’s lips as he sensed the man’s presence. The Enlightened One’s aura was calm and steady until his eyes fell upon Braldy.

Before violence could bloom, Cain’s voice echoed in the Enlightened One’s mind, sharp but steady.

"This place is safe. We can’t fight each other here. Do not make any violent move."

The Enlightened One was surprised by those words, and even more by the change of Cain’s appearance, but as he gazed at the Oveerser, things became clear, and he calmed his energy
