The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2213: I can make you stronger

Chapter 2213: I can make you stronger

Apex allowed Cain several quiet moments to absorb everything he had just witnessed before the image of the Prima Universe faded away.

The darkness settled, and then the System Spirit’s voice echoed once more—this time even heavier, even more somber. "Honestly, I have no knowledge of the Root. However... do you understand the kind of power required to move through the Emptiness?"

Cain’s eyes sharpened immediately. Those words stirred something deep within him.

He had caught only the briefest glimpse of that impossible dimension beyond the Universe Wall when he and Anark forced the Heart of the Root away, and even now he could not provide even the slightest description of it. Everything about that place violated reason. Every law, every sensation, every intuition failed to function. His mind and soul could not process it.

The power required simply to move through that realm was staggering—surviving within it for any length of time was something he could not even imagine. He was certain it harbored dangers beyond anything known to existence.

"Even someone at the limit of the Third Realm might not survive," Apex continued. "I do not know how strong Radagon truly is, but I doubt he possesses the power needed to drive the Heart of the Root through the Emptiness."

Apex stopped speaking.

And in that instant, Cain’s eyes widened, glowing with sudden insight and realization. "Do you mean... someone sent them here?"

If Radagon did not have the strength to push the Heart of the Root through the Emptiness, then there was only one logical answer: someone else had hurled that abomination into Cain’s universe.

The thought alone made Cain’s heart and soul tremble.

Radagon was already more than he could handle. If there was a force behind him—one strong enough to face the Emptiness itself—then the situation was far more dire than he had believed.

"There is a high chance of that," Apex said. He paused briefly before continuing, his tone steady but grim. "Navigating the Emptiness is extremely difficult. I doubt they intentionally chose this universe. More likely, they were simply thrown through the Emptiness and crashed into it by chance. But now they know the coordinates of your universe. So if there is someone behind Radagon... you need to find out. And soon."

Cain remained silent for several seconds.

The pressure weighing upon him surged to an overwhelming level as he finally grasped the full scope of what he was facing. Yet he did not break. Instead a cold, sharp determination ignited behind his eyes.

"Thank you," Cain said.

"Be careful," Apex replied.

With that final exchange, Cain withdrew his mind from the Soul Dimension and returned fully to the meeting chamber. Outwardly, his expression remained perfectly neutral. Inwardly, however, a profound coldness had settled within him—an unyielding ruthlessness and an iron resolve.

One way or another, he would use the power gathered in this room. If persuasion failed, then so be it. If he had to open their minds and rewrite their minds, he would.

Cain valued personal freedom deeply, but when the life of the entire universe hung on a single thread, hard choices had to be made.

"Hopefully it will not come to that," Cain thought. "But if it does... I will not hesitate."

Ten more minutes passed as he listened to the defensive strategies being proposed and gained a clearer picture of the personalities gathered, of what drove them, and of how rigidly they clung to their respective perspectives. Finally, he made his move.

"I understand your points of view," Cain said, his voice calm and steady. "And there is indeed some wisdom behind using the Universe Matrix to confront the Root. Since our goal is to strengthen ourselves, I have a proposition for all of you. I have a method to make you stronger."

The gathered powerhouses of the Six Sacred Races narrowed their eyes. None of them could deny Cain’s strength—nor the strange, impossible mastery he held over cosmic forces such as the Flow—but the claim that he could increase their power drew skepticism.

After all, each of them stood at the pinnacle of their Empyrean Worlds. Each possessed resources, legacies, and treasures that would be considered priceless by nearly any other living being. The idea that this young True Primordial could improve them seemed overly arrogant.

Suspicion, dismissal, and faint scorn flickered across their faces.

Cain saw it all clearly—and simply smiled.

He closed his eyes.

A moment later, his skin began to glow like living nebular plasma. The gathered powerhouses recognized the energy instantly. The nature of the aura was unmistakable.

A treasure.

A powerful one.

A treasure carrying the unmistakable signature of an Alpha-Omega Overgod.

Shock rippled through the room.

And that was only the beginning.

The NecroSkin receded, its glow fading. Then, a deep and resonant heartbeat echoed from within Cain’s chest—a sound so powerful that space itself seemed to pulse with it. The gathered powerhouses stared as the majestic form of a stellar-forged heart manifested within his body.

"Another Alpha-Omega Overgod treasure..." Uriel muttered, unable to contain his awe.

Even for beings of their level, owning one such treasure was extraordinary. Acquiring it required the full weight of their destiny, their accumulated fortune, and the design of their entire world. Yet Cain possessed two—effortlessly, casually, as though it were nothing remarkable.

The vision of the Heart of Nihility faded.

Cain focused next on the crown above his head. He usually kept its aura suppressed to avoid drawing excessive attention, but now he let it surge freely.

A wave of overwhelming cosmic might washed across the room.

"A third!" shouted Amara, the Atrox swordswoman, disbelief coloring every word.

A third Alpha-Omega Overgod treasure.

At that point, awe overtook every other emotion in the room.

Two such treasures were already beyond what any Empyrean World could naturally produce. But three? Three meant something astonishing:

These were not inherited or discovered.

They were forged.

The True Primordial before them possessed the ability to create treasures at the absolute peak of universal existence.

All traces of scorn vanished instantly.

Cain had indeed proven that he possessed the power to make them stronger.
