The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2367: Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Tribulation Enhancer

Chapter 2367: Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Tribulation Enhancer

"If I reinforce my defenses with my own energy, the Light of the Flow, and the power of Resurreccion, I should become even more durable than a Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Treasure."

Cain’s excitement continued to rise as the realization settled in. The path of his Primordial Body had always been one of bodily endurance. From the moment he chose it, he had known it would be slow, brutal, and unforgiving—but now, after countless battles and refinements, he was approaching the very limits of the universe.

If the Scarlet King was able to take another step forward, the indestructibility of his body might surpass the limits of the Third Realm!

Yet Cain did not allow confidence to turn into arrogance.

His defenses had indeed become monstrous; that was an undeniable fact. Even so, Robuke’s axes still possessed the power to pierce his flesh. That alone was proof that there was room for improvement—room he could not afford to ignore.

Fortunately, the Scarlet King still had a way forward.

Taking a deep breath, Cain calmed his racing thoughts and brought his heart back into perfect balance. With a simple wave of his hand, a sphere shimmering with forty-three distinct colors manifested before him.

During the past two years, Cain had trained relentlessly in his Tribulation Enhancement abilities. At this point, he could forge Early Alpha-Omega Overgod–tier flames with a one-hundred-percent success rate. Refinement, however, was a far more delicate matter. Still, his success rate there was remarkably high and steadily improving with every attempt.

What Cain now sought was a flame of forty-four colors.

That would signify a Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Tribulation Enhancement, a qualitative leap that would elevate his potential and talent to terrifying heights. Such a flame would greatly amplify his already overwhelming potential in both the Essence Evolution Path and the Astral Rebirth Path.

And, it could be what his soul force needed to break into the Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank!

Once he ensured that his mind and soul were sharpened to their absolute peak, Cain began to work.

Massive torrents of energy poured into the sphere. With his mastery over World Strength and the endless spiritual energy flowing from the Scarlet Throne, fuel was no concern whatsoever. Cain stood unmoving for eighteen continuous hours, refining and compressing the flame.

Then, suddenly, it trembled.

Without hesitation, Cain guided the unstable flame into his stomach. It detonated instantly, erupting with the force of an Early Alpha-Omega Overgod–level spell. His body shuddered for a brief moment, smoke escaping from the corner of his mouth—but there was no real damage.

Such power could no longer harm him.

After resting for an hour, Cain summoned another flame and continued.

Days passed in the same manner. Flames grew stronger, denser, and increasingly unstable, each one consumed by Cain before it could endanger the floating city. His progress was steady, relentless, and uncompromising.

Finally, on the ninth day, radiant light flooded the throne room.

A flame of forty-four colors hovered before Cain, majestic and awe-inspiring, as if it carried the very essence of life and creation within it. Cain nodded to himself, pride flickering briefly in his eyes—but he did not allow complacency to take root.

Encasing the flame within an orb formed from his Ego Wave, he rested for a short while before continuing. Forging a single Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod flame did not make him a true Middle-tier Tribulation Enhancer. He would need extensive practice before attempting refinement—unless he wished to blow himself apart.

Unfortunately for Cain, before he could resume his training, a message arrived.

"My Lord, we have reached the required amount."

Any disappointment at being interrupted vanished instantly from Cain’s mind as he heard Minxet’s voice.

"Bring them to me," Cain commanded without hesitation.

He then turned his attention to the void, where Anark was deep in meditation.

"Come."

The words reached the True Primordial of the Void, who opened his eyes immediately, a spark of anticipation flashing within them. In the next instant, Anark dove into the Everstrife Empyrean World.

Minxet arrived less than a second later, fully prepared. He presented several silver boxes to Cain, bowed respectfully, and withdrew. Cain glanced at the boxes with a knowing smile just as Anark arrived.

The two Primordials exchanged nods before teleporting directly into the Samsara Arsenal Module.

Without delay, they entered the Samsara Sacrificial Grounds, standing before the roaring Samsara Flame.

"Here."

With a flick of his hand, Cain passed the silver boxes to Anark, then handed him several black boxes as well.

The True Primordial of the Void nodded solemnly. Taking a deep breath, he shattered the black boxes, releasing millions of evil and wicked cultivators—the very ones Markin and Kaizer had surrendered from their Empyrean Worlds.

There was no pity in Anark’s eyes.

Purple flames surged forth, consuming the cultivators utterly. Their screams were brief, swallowed by karmic fire. Once they were gone, Anark shattered the silver boxes.

Each contained countless wicked and corrupted treasures that the Scarlet Kingdom had collected over the past several years.

Cain had waited patiently until the amount was sufficient. Only now could they generate enough Merit to push Anark’s Samsara Seal toward becoming a Samsara Runic Seal.

Neither Primordial spoke as torrents of Fortune rose into the air, thick and radiant. The energy grew denser and denser until it flooded the sacrificial grounds entirely. Thirty percent condensed into a radiant golden orb, while the rest transformed into raw Merit.

Smiles appeared on both their faces.

This was enough.

But Anark’s smile vanished almost instantly.

All the Merit surged into his Samsara Seal at once, and in the next second, it felt as if countless wires forged from lava spread through his flesh, blood, mind, and soul. The pain was absolute, unrelenting, and all-consuming.

Cain merely smiled faintly.

He remembered well the agony his own Samsara Runic Set had inflicted upon him during its awakening.

As Anark endured the torment, Cain slowly lifted his gaze toward the ceiling—toward the golden orb of condensed Fortune that hovered above.
