Chapter 2451: The Dark Blood Kingdom
Chapter 2451: The Dark Blood Kingdom
Satan moved with tremendous speed, cutting across the skies of the Dark Blood Realm like a blazing comet. The aura of the Scarlet King, combined with that of the three Royal Guards, was more than enough to ensure that no Omen Beast or wandering Blutlinie dared to approach their path.
However, the creatures of the realm were not their only concern.
The Dark Blood Realm was infamous for its violent natural phenomena—forces that appeared without warning and could not always be avoided.
Some regions were consumed by crimson sandstorms that roared with enough power to peel the skin from Archdeities. Others were filled with distorted mirages capable of trapping the consciousness of weaker Alpha-Omega Overgods, imprisoning their souls in endless illusions.
There were zones where gravity twisted unpredictably, rivers of condensed energy that burned like liquid fire, and storms of Omen fragments that could shatter spiritual defenses.
Even for someone of Cain’s strength, the journey was far from comfortable.
Yet Satan endured everything, pushing forward relentlessly.
After two months of continuous travel, the group finally reached the heart of the Dark Blood Realm.
Cain slowly opened his eyes, breaking his training as he looked around.
For the first time since the journey began, genuine awe appeared in his expression.
The density of energy in this region was overwhelming. The Omens were clearer, sharper, and far more active. Every breath felt heavy with power, as if the very air itself carried the pressure of countless cultivators.
"The best place for the strongest," Cain murmured to himself.
A faint smile appeared on his face as his gaze shifted toward the horizon.
Even though they were still days away, he could already see the outer walls of the Dark Blood Kingdom’s capital.
Calling them gargantuan would have been an understatement.
The walls rose from the earth like a mountain range, stretching upward until they seemed to merge with the firmament itself. Massive runic arrays and ancient formations pulsed across their surface, radiating a pressure so intense that even powerful Alpha-Omega Overgods would be torn apart if they attempted to force their way through.
Satan continued forward.
As they approached, more details became visible.
Countless cities surrounded the capital, forming vast rings of civilization. Of course, the word "small" was only relative—each of those cities housed millions of Blutlinie, all living under the protection and influence of the Dark Blood Kingdom.
Cain’s eyes sharpened.
"So this is what someone with Fourth Realm power can build."
The kingdom was dangerous—extremely dangerous.
But it was also full of opportunity.
Within these walls, he might find the knowledge and resources necessary to break through the limits of the Third Realm.
And that power...
That power was essential for his true goal.
Even after all these years, the threat that was the World of the Root remained vivid in Cain’s memory. The dangers that invaded his home had not disappeared.
If he wanted to protect what mattered to him, he needed to grow stronger.
And he needed to do it quickly.
There were four main gates along the immense wall surrounding the capital. Cain guided Satan toward the southern one.
The moment they approached, he felt it.
Countless eyes focused on him.
The runic formations shifted, their power locking onto his presence, ready to unleash devastating attacks if necessary.
Then, a second later, everything deactivated.
The massive gates began to open.
The movement did not go unnoticed.
Across the surrounding cities, countless Blutlinie looked toward the capital with awe and curiosity. Normally, entry and exit were handled through teleportation formations. The gates only opened for figures of great status and power.
All eyes were now fixed on the Scarlet King.
Cain narrowed his gaze slightly.
He did not care much for such displays, but it was obvious that the Dark Blood King intended to place him under the spotlight.
Still, he quickly dismissed the thought.
His attention shifted to the young Royal Blutlinie woman approaching him with a respectful smile.
She stopped several meters away and bowed deeply.
"Scarlet General, I am Samira," she said. "I have been assigned as your personal assistant by the Dark Blood King."
Cain studied her briefly.
A Peak Archdeity.
"Using someone of this level as an assistant... how flattering."
Outwardly, he smiled.
Internally, he understood the real purpose. This was not just assistance—this was surveillance. A pair of eyes to report every movement he made.
But there was no reason to refuse.
He simply nodded.
"The War Council will convene in a few days," Cain said calmly. "I assume there is a residence prepared for me as I wait."
Samira nodded immediately.
"Yes. As a General of the Dark Blood Kingdom, you have also been granted the title of Duke. A castle within the capital has been assigned to you and your forces."
As she spoke, her gaze shifted toward Satan, Hades, and Morningstar. A complicated expression appeared on her face.
"I was informed that you would be bringing your army with you."
Cain nodded.
"I did. This is my army."
Samira’s expression became even more complex.
The three were Alpha-Omega Overgods, but none of them were Royal Blutlinie. And even if they were, three individuals could hardly be called an army.
The Heartcram King had arrived days earlier with ten Alpha-Omega Overgods and tens of thousands of Archdeities and Primary Deities.
Still, it was not her place to question a General’s decisions.
She simply bowed again.
"Please follow me."
She led them through the capital to an enormous estate.
The structure was vast, with expansive gardens, training grounds, defensive formations, and multiple residential sectors. It was less a castle and more a small city.
"This is your Dukedom," Samira said.
Cain nodded and entered.
With a single glance, the Royal Guards understood their roles. They immediately dispersed to inspect different areas of the estate, leaving only Cain and Samira as they approached the central residence.
"Accompany me," Cain said calmly.
Without hesitation, he walked toward the main bedroom.
Samira was slightly surprised. Cain did not seem like the type to act so directly—but she followed without protest.
Among Blutlinie, strength and lineage were everything. Bearing the child of a powerful Royal Blutlinie was considered an honor and an opportunity.
She was already preparing herself when they entered the room.
But the moment the doors closed—
The light vanished.
Darkness flooded the chamber, swallowing everything.
Samira froze.
Then, slowly, two bright scarlet eyes appeared in the void above her.
