The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2468: A new Master of Chaos or Order in Paradise?

Chapter 2468: A new Master of Chaos or Order in Paradise?

Cain stood inside his residence, a wide smile on his face as he gazed at the radiant orb floating before him.

Countless lines of sigils and runes flowed across its surface, moving in complex patterns that contained layers upon layers of profound meaning. The knowledge embedded within them was so deep that if anyone below the Third Realm were to focus on the orb directly, their soul might collapse under the overwhelming flood of information.

Even with his extraordinarily powerful soul, Cain had to maintain complete concentration to properly analyze it. And the more he understood, the greater the thrill that surged through his heart.

"The Apollo Speed Technique is truly remarkable," Cain murmured. "Something worthy of being brought out from the Ancestor Tomb."

The orb was the vessel that contained the Half-Step Fourth Realm Body Refinement Technique. Only one such vessel existed, which was the primary reason it was so extraordinarily expensive.

In truth, Cain did not truly own it. Once the war ended, the technique would have to be returned to the Dark Blood Kingdom.

But he did not concern himself with that.

By the time the war was over, many things could change.

It took him several hours of focused study before he was finally able to organize the endless flow of knowledge within the orb into a coherent structure. Only then did he begin the actual training process.

"The technique is divided into two main stages," Cain analyzed internally. "The first is the forging of a Hollow Star."

According to the method, a practitioner could use any type of energy or power to create the Hollow Star within their body. However, the stronger and more unique the energy source, the greater the potential of the final result.

That was why most warriors relied exclusively on their Ancestor Power.

As Cain considered this requirement, countless possibilities flashed through his mind. His foundation was far from ordinary. The Flow, the Power of Chaos, the Ocean of the Blood Sun, and his Royal Blutlinie’s Ancestor Power all provided him with advantages that few beings in Paradise could match.

But he did not rush to a conclusion.

Instead, he continued analyzing the second stage.

"After the Hollow Star is formed, it must be ignited, transforming it into a Radiant Sun."

The ignition process required sealing something inside the Hollow Star. The stronger the sealed object—and the greater its potential—the more powerful the resulting Radiant Sun would become.

According to the records, the most suitable materials were high-grade treasures.

However, the technique did not strictly limit the practitioner to treasures. Any sufficiently powerful object or essence could be used.

Still, the instructions contained a warning.

Deviating too far from the orthodox path could lead to instability... or even catastrophic failure.

A thoughtful light appeared in Cain’s eyes.

The entire process felt strangely familiar.

But he did not dwell on the feeling and instead continued reviewing the overall structure of the technique.

"There are three levels in total," he concluded. "Each one marked by the ignition of a new Radiant Sun."

The First Level would grant movement speed comparable to a Peak Alpha–Omega Overgod.

Since Cain already operated at that level physically, the direct improvement to his base speed would not be dramatic.

However, the true value of the first Radiant Sun was not its passive enhancement.

It granted an explosive ability.

Apollo’s Speed.

For a brief period, his speed would increase drastically, pushing his movement beyond his normal limits. The drawback was equally severe—the strain on the body and energy reserves would be immense.

But in high-level combat, a few seconds of overwhelming speed could decide victory or death.

Cain clenched his fists slightly.

If he could reach the peak of this technique, his combat capability would surpass that of ordinary King-tier powerhouses.

Yet even as excitement rose within him, his expression soon turned calm again.

"Even with this... I still won’t be able to match beings like the Dark Blood King... or Shakra."

He understood his position clearly.

He was powerful.

But he was still far from the true peak of Paradise.

Fortunately, he still had other paths of growth.

Cain closed his eyes, and immediately another vast stream of knowledge surfaced within his mind.

The Path of the Asura.

Because he had extracted the understanding directly from Aerion’s soul and engraved it into his own, he already possessed complete mastery of the theoretical principles. What remained was only practical integration.

"Normal Asura Form and the Fourth Realm version share the same foundation," Cain analyzed. "Both use the heart as an engine, accelerating the flow of power and energy throughout the body."

However, the difference between them was enormous.

"Standard Asura Form is confined within the body," he continued. "But the Path of the Asura breaks the boundary between the individual and the world."

Cain paused as he reached this point, a complex expression appearing on his face as he fully internalized the implication.

"It allows the user to resonate with the universe... and draw cosmic power directly through their existence."

The realization made his expression turn solemn.

After a long moment of silent analysis, Cain finally spoke aloud.

"The most natural masters of Asura Form I have seen are the Masked Race of Origin Island. It is reasonable to assume the technique originated with them."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"My past incarnation must have studied their methods and adapted them."

As for the Path of the Asura, Cain quickly identified its true nature.

"This is not an independent technique," he concluded. "It is an evolution. A fusion between Asura Form and the cosmic attunement or domination granted by the Power of Chaos... or the Power of Order."

Cain’s hands slowly tightened into fists.

Although there were other ways to achieve resonance with cosmic forces, he was certain of one thing.

The purest and most stable methods came from Chaos or Order.

And that realization carried enormous implications.

If this technique had been discovered within the Ancestor Tomb, then its creator had almost certainly been a master of one of the two supreme cosmic powers.

Which raised a disturbing question.

What kind of existence had created the Blutlinie race?

For a brief moment, Cain’s thoughts drifted away from his current goals.

His original objective had always been simple—to grow stronger, survive, and eventually find a way back to his true home.

But now...

He could feel something else.

Something subtle, yet undeniable.

A pull.

The Ancestor Tomb.

Whether it contained answers about the origin of the Blutlinie... or about the deeper structure of Paradise itself... he did not know.

Perhaps it held truth.

Perhaps it held only danger, bloodshed, and destruction.

But one thing was certain.

Paradise was filled with mysteries.

And Cain wanted to uncover them all.
