Chapter 2499: The entire army of the Eighth Realm

"No time to waste."

Cain immediately began refining the Ancestor Drops.

One after another, the orbs dissolved under the influence of his Chaos Flame. Cain carefully erased every trace of impurity, weakness, or residual will left behind by their former owners before absorbing the refined ancestral power into himself.

The process was surprisingly fast.

The Perfect Ancestor Drop within his body absorbed the incoming energy like a bottomless ocean. When the final trace of ancestral essence merged with it, Cain felt another surge of power spreading through his body.

His cultivation rose once again.

He had not yet reached the peak of the Middle Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank, but he was approaching it at an astonishing speed.

According to the historical records Cain had gathered, even the fastest and most talented Royal Blutlinie from the Seventh, Eighth, and Ninth Layers required nearly five thousand years to reach the Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank.

Cain was approaching that level in less than two decades.

The difference was absurd.

Of course, part of that advantage came from the fact that his Primordial Essence had already reached the Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank long before his Royal Blutlinie body was born.

Even so, the speed of his progress remained astonishing.

Cain did not particularly care about fame or comparisons with other geniuses. Those things meant little to him.

What truly mattered was something else.

Once he reached the Late Alpha-Omega Overgod Rank, his Primordial Essence should become powerful enough to swim against the currents of Paradise and return to the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Of course, doing so would require him to abandon this Royal Blutlinie body.

But that was not a real problem.

His Primordial Body should still be sealed inside the World Forge, waiting for his return.

Once he reclaimed it, his true strength would explode once more.

Just as those thoughts crossed his mind, Cain suddenly gazed into the distance.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"Just in time."

"RUMBLE!"

In the next instant, the entire volcanic mountain range surrounding the stronghold began to tremble violently.

Several volcanoes erupted simultaneously, spewing massive rivers of magma and lava into the sky as the overwhelming pressure pressing down on the region disrupted the balance of the land itself.

Inside the Immortal Nirvana Stronghold, alarms began to ring.

The Nirvana Crown Prince immediately rose from his throne within the fortress.

His eyes filled with cold fury as he looked toward the distant horizon.

There, far beyond the volcanic plains, an enormous army was approaching.

They were still more than a day away from the stronghold, yet the pressure of their combined auras was already powerful enough to shake the entire region.

Naturally, this force belonged to none other than the Eternal Soul Kingdom.

And it was not merely a few battalions.

It was the entire army of the realm.

"Dammit," the Nirvana Crown Prince muttered under his breath.

The last thing he wanted at this moment was a battle.

Yet it seemed fate had other plans.

"Why now of all times?"

As that thought crossed his mind, the Nirvana Crown Prince briefly turned his gaze toward the distant tower where the Red King resided.

A dangerous light flickered in his eyes.

"First things first."

He quickly issued commands across the entire Eighth Realm, ordering all forces of the Immortal Nirvana Kingdom to return to the stronghold.

Fortunately, he had already begun regrouping his armies the moment he obtained the fragment from the Red King. Because of that preparation, his forces would likely arrive before Sharka and his army reached the fortress.

One after another, powerful figures returned.

The number of Royal Blutlinie within the stronghold increased rapidly.

As their presences gathered together, their combined aura rose into the sky like a blazing inferno.

Soon, it began to clash with the overwhelming pressure projected by the approaching forces of the Eternal Soul Kingdom.

The collision of those two forces shook the heavens.

Dark storm clouds formed across the sky as massive lightning storms spread across entire continents.

Inside his tower, Cain calmly observed everything.

The chaos unfolding outside only widened his smile.

He continued refining the remaining energy within his body, ensuring that he would be in perfect condition for what was about to happen.

Finally, the army of the Eternal Soul Kingdom arrived at the volcanic mountain range.

At their head stood the Eternal Soul King.

Sharka.

His soul force was so immense that it seemed to suffocate the entire region.

Dark armor covered most of his upper body, yet his chest remained exposed—revealing the glaring flaw in the sacred armor he wore.

A flaw he clearly intended to fix.

Sharka moved forward alone, leaving his massive army behind as he hovered above the enormous force field protecting the stronghold.

It was an incredibly dangerous position.

Yet there was not the slightest trace of fear in the Eternal Soul King.

With the authority of a true sovereign, he shouted toward the fortress below.

"Nirvana Crown Prince! Come out and face me!"

Inside the stronghold, the Nirvana Crown Prince’s eyes turned icy.

Cold killing intent surged from his soul.

Rebirth Flames erupted around his body as he rose into the sky, crossing the protective barrier until he hovered directly above it.

His gaze locked onto Sharka.

"Why is there a dog barking at my front door?" he said coldly.

The Eternal Soul King’s eyes narrowed slightly at the insult.

However, a moment later, a faint smile appeared on his face.

"Child," Sharka said calmly, "the only reason you have survived this long is because killing you would create more trouble than it solves."

His gaze hardened.

"But my patience has reached its limit."

The air around him grew heavier as his voice carried across the battlefield.

"I know you possess the final fragment of the armor that appeared in the Eighth Realm."

The Nirvana Crown Prince remained silent.

He neither confirmed nor denied the accusation.

Yet deep within his soul, rage and frustration burned fiercely.

Sharka did not care about his reaction.

His voice remained calm and cold.

"Hand it over," the Eternal Soul King continued, "and I will allow you to return to the Seventh Realm with your life."

A dangerous pause followed.

"Refuse... and I will kill you along with every soldier who came here with you."

The Nirvana Crown Prince remained silent for several moments.

His gaze slowly swept across the massive army behind Sharka.

He saw countless war formations and enormous siege weapons prepared for battle.

Yet instead of fear, a cold and merciless smile appeared on his face.

"A relic from a forgotten age really thinks he can threaten me?" the Crown Prince said mockingly.

Nirvana Flames surged violently around his body.

"If you want a fight," he declared, "I will give you one."
