Chapter 2508: The Tenth Empyrean World makes its move
Before Anark could even understand what was happening, he saw a hand moving toward him.
At first it seemed insignificant—a simple strike, a small palm with barely enough power to cause meaningful damage.
But the moment the hand reached him, everything changed.
The True Primordial of the Void suddenly felt as if hundreds of massive, shadowy palms were striking him from every direction at the same time. Each blow carried crushing force, and together they formed a terrifying barrage that slammed into him with overwhelming power.
Anark was blasted into the sky instantly.
Blood burst from his mouth as his body shot upward like a meteor thrown into the heavens.
He clenched his teeth, forcing himself to regain control before the momentum could carry him too far. Twisting his body in midair, he redirected the energy rushing through him and turned around.
Without hesitation, he threw a punch with every ounce of strength he could muster.
His massive fist collided with a much smaller one.
Yet the moment their fists connected, Anark felt the same horrifying sensation again—as though he were clashing with hundreds of opponents simultaneously.
"BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"
A colossal explosion erupted between them.
The shockwave was even more powerful than the one created when Anark’s fist had collided with Robuke’s axe moments earlier. Violent waves of force spread across the battlefield, surprising warriors on both sides of the conflict.
Immediately, countless eyes turned toward the sky.
They saw the bleeding figure of the True Primordial of the Void, purple flames already spreading across his body as his regenerative powers worked to repair the damage.
But what shocked them even more was the identity of the man who had clashed with him.
The newcomer was a middle-aged figure with a calm and composed expression. Two crimson horns curved from his forehead, marking him as part of the Infernal Daemon race, while the sharp, refined features of his face clearly resembled those of the Godslayer Humankin.
"An... hybrid of the Light and Dark Camps?" Anark murmured, frowning.
There had once been a time when hybrids were considered taboo, forbidden existences shunned by both sides of the universe. However, after the arrival of the Scarlet King and the spread of the Scarlet Path, those rigid racial boundaries had begun to weaken.
Even so, hybrids were still rare.
Yet that was not what truly shocked the alliance’s leaders.
What stunned them was something else entirely.
It was obvious that this man predated the era of the Scarlet King.
And even more strangely, they could sense a third racial aura within him.
He was not simply a hybrid of the Six Sacred Races.
He was something... different.
More importantly, his actions had already made his intentions clear.
He had attacked Anark.
And he had protected Robuke, the Monster of the Root.
The middle-aged man stood calmly despite the overwhelming pressure now focused on him.
His gaze never left Anark.
He slowly raised his fists, revealing blood-stained knuckles.
"I am impressed," the man said calmly. "Your life force feels incredibly young, yet your combat instincts carry the weight of countless battles."
A faint smile touched his lips.
"I suppose this will be interesting."
As soon as he finished speaking, his aura exploded outward.
It expanded like a dark ocean, swallowing the surrounding sky.
Within that darkness, a terrifying phantom manifested—a monstrous amalgamation of shadowy creatures. Hundreds of faces twisted together into a grotesque form, while thousands of arms extended outward like a forest of claws.
"I am Jason," the man declared quietly.
His voice carried across the battlefield.
"And if you do not leave now... I will kill you."
Anark’s only response was silence.
Then—
A monstrous wave of killing intent erupted from him.
The Primordial Force of the Void exploded outward, forming a gargantuan pillar of violet energy that pierced the sky and reached into the depths of the void itself.
The two warriors stared at each other for a brief moment.
Then they moved.
Both figures vanished in a flash, crossing the distance between them instantly.
Their fists collided again.
Then came kicks, elbow strikes, knee attacks—an endless barrage of blows exchanged at incomprehensible speed. Every movement displayed absolute mastery over the body and perfect control over momentum.
The very Worlds of the Root trembled beneath their clash.
Anark gritted his teeth.
Every time his attacks collided with Jason’s, it felt as though he were fighting hundreds of enemies at once.
Individually, those phantom forces were not particularly powerful. But they moved with flawless coordination, striking simultaneously and combining their strength into a unified attack far greater than the sum of its parts.
It did not take long for one fighter to begin gaining the upper hand.
Unfortunately for the alliance, it was the hybrid.
Jason’s cultivation fluctuated strangely.
One moment his aura surged to the Peak Alpha Omega Overgod level.
The next moment it dropped all the way to the Archdeity Rank.
Yet his physical power never weakened.
When he landed a properly placed strike, the force behind it was overwhelming.
One such blow slammed into Anark’s chest.
The impact sent the True Primordial of the Void flying across the sky once again, blood spilling from his mouth.
To be fair, Anark had already burned a massive amount of energy during his brutal clash with Robuke. He was far from his peak condition.
But such things meant very little on the battlefield.
Victory and defeat cared nothing for fairness.
And at this moment—
The True Primordial of the Void was losing.
In the distance, Meylin saw Anark being forced back.
Her eyes hardened.
Without hesitation, she burned her life force like a star going supernova and charged toward Mikela.
If she could eliminate the Warlock of the Root, then she would be free to assist Anark.
The hybrid was incredibly powerful, but she doubted he could face both of them at the same time.
Mikela was still struggling to rise from the crater where she had been blasted moments earlier when Meylin suddenly appeared above her.
The wings of the True Depravita of Original Sin flared with blinding light.
Behind her, a vast inverted pyramid appeared.
Seven levels formed its structure.
Each level represented one of the Seven Deadly Sins, their powers intertwining and amplifying one another.
Meylin channeled the full might of the formation into her sword.
The blade trembled under the pressure of the immense energy gathering within it.
But just as she prepared to release the killing strike—
The golden light in her eyes suddenly flared violently.
Her instincts screamed.
Without hesitation, she twisted her body with all her strength.
Just in time.
A trident shot toward the back of her head, its tip carrying enough power to shatter a star.
Meylin’s sword flashed.
The two weapons collided.
