The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2675: Eye of Origin

Chapter 2675: Eye of Origin

Nito, even with the madness tearing through his mind, was forced to focus as the Empyrean Samsara Sun surged back toward him with enough power to erase his flesh, blood, and soul.

"ARGHHHH!"

The Curse Eater roared with all his strength and thrust both hands forward, attempting to halt the massive purple sun.

Yet, while he managed to slow its advance, he could not stop it.

The Empyrean Samsara Sun continued to move forward.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

Nito’s voice echoed across the void as disbelief and rage consumed his mind.

He had poured everything into that attack. He had sacrificed his strength, burned his vitality, and pushed the Samsara Eye beyond the limits his body was supposed to endure. The Empyrean Samsara Sun had been his ultimate technique, a force powerful enough to annihilate Meylin and reduce the Fallen Empyrean World to a lifeless fragment drifting through the void.

Yet not only had the attack failed to destroy the Scarlet King, but Cain had taken control of it and turned it against its creator.

"Hahahaha!"

In response to Nito’s maddened cry, the Scarlet King’s resounding laughter spread throughout the Fallen Empyrean World.

"There is no such thing as impossible!"

Cain continued to advance.

Every step he took caused the Empyrean Samsara Sun to retreat farther from the world beneath them. His massive Arch-Nephilim body burned with golden and scarlet light as the power of flesh, blood, laws, and concepts circulated through every part of his existence.

The purple flames surrounding his arms continued to consume his flesh. His blood evaporated beneath the overwhelming pressure, while the bones in his hands groaned as if they might shatter at any moment.

Yet Cain did not slow down.

Nito’s eyes trembled as he watched himself being overpowered. Dread and panic rose in his heart as he desperately searched for a way to escape.

He had used everything.

There was nothing left.

The Curse Eater could only watch as his hands pressed against the surface of the massive purple sun. His flesh burned away, exposing blackened bone beneath it, while the destructive force of his own attack began to devour him.

The realization that he might die finally entered his mind.

Just as his consciousness seemed ready to succumb to terror and despair, the Samsara Eye embedded in his forehead began to glow.

A blinding light erupted from the ancient organ.

Nito’s entire body trembled.

Cracks spread across his face as the skin covering it began to peel away at an accelerated rate. The process continued until a deep fracture appeared at the center of his visage, dividing it into two distinct halves.

The left side retained Nito’s original face.

The right side revealed something entirely different.

It was a face far more regal and majestic, as though it had been carved from absolute perfection. Every feature carried an indescribable sense of authority, but the most astonishing part was the eye.

It was golden.

Within that golden eye existed a wondrous Milky Way formed from countless streams of starlight. Each star appeared to contain the mysteries of life and creation.

No.

It went beyond life.

It went beyond creation.

The golden eye held the meaning of origin itself.

Without warning, Nito’s body stopped trembling.

His posture changed as he stood straight like a flawless spear. Supreme confidence and absolute control radiated from his figure, causing the chaotic energy surrounding him to grow strangely calm.

However, Nito’s remaining eye continued to shake.

Anyone capable of seeing through the surface would immediately understand what had happened.

Nito no longer controlled his body.

His body was moving on its own.

Under normal circumstances, such a realization would have horrified any warrior. Losing control of one’s body meant surrendering one’s fate to an unknown force.

Yet at that moment, it was the only thing capable of saving his life.

Therefore, Nito did not resist.

His body slowly raised his right hand and placed it against the surface of the Empyrean Samsara Sun.

The golden Origin Eye began to shine.

"RUMBLE!"

Nito’s life force and vitality exploded with unimaginable power. However, instead of spreading throughout his body, all that energy flowed toward his outstretched hand.

Then he pushed.

The Empyrean Samsara Sun stopped.

For a single moment, the entire void fell silent.

Then the massive purple sphere began to descend.

The Fallen Empyrean World trembled once more as the cataclysmic sun reversed its path and moved toward Cain.

The Scarlet King’s smile vanished.

Coldness replaced the excitement in his eyes.

Cain narrowed his crimson gaze as he attempted to understand the origin of Nito’s sudden burst of power. The transformation was too sudden and too unnatural. The Curse Eater had already exhausted himself, yet his strength had returned at an even greater level.

However, Cain quickly shook his head.

It did not matter.

The source of Nito’s power could be investigated later.

Right now, only one thing mattered.

Stopping the Empyrean Samsara Sun.

"Alone, I cannot win."

Cain spoke calmly before a wide smile appeared on his face.

"Luckily, I am never alone."

Golden and scarlet flames spread across the eight massive wings of the Arch-Nephilim. The flames continued to expand until they crossed the void and reached every warrior of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

At that instant, all of them felt their souls begin to burn.

There was no pain.

There was no damage.

The flames did not consume them. Instead, they awakened the strength hidden within their hearts and reminded them of every battle they had endured together.

It was the power that connected them to the Scarlet King.

"ARGHHHH!"

Roars of war echoed throughout the Fallen Empyrean World.

The warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance had been scattered across the continent by the initial shockwaves of the Empyrean Samsara Sun. Yet despite their wounds and the enemies standing before them, they immediately answered Cain’s call.

They raised their weapons.

Their souls burned.

Then they shared their power with the Scarlet King.

Scarlet streams of energy rose from every corner of the world and converged upon Cain. The strength of countless warriors flowed into his body, merging with the power of the Arch-Nephilim Race.

Cain did not hesitate.

"HAHAHAHA!"

The Scarlet King laughed as he charged forward.

He did not attempt to stop the Empyrean Samsara Sun with his hands.

Instead, he lowered his body and slammed directly into the massive purple sphere.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

The impact sent waves of energy across the void.

Cain’s body became a blazing comet as he tackled the Empyrean Samsara Sun and forced it away from the Fallen Empyrean World.

Nito could not stop the advance.

The massive sphere crashed into him and began to drive him deeper into the void.

Panic filled the Curse Eater’s mind, but his body remained calm.

The mysterious force controlling him carefully guided the power of the Samsara Eye and the Origin Eye, forming countless layers of protection around his body.

The Empyrean Samsara Sun continued to move farther from the Fallen Empyrean World.

Cain pushed from one side.

Nito resisted from the other.

The two opposing forces placed unbearable pressure on the massive sphere.

Cracks began to spread across its surface.

The cracks multiplied.

Then—

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

The Empyrean Samsara Sun exploded.

The detonation caused the universe to tremble.

Purple flames spread in every direction, flooding the void like an endless ocean of cosmic fire. The explosion illuminated countless worlds and turned the darkness beyond the Fallen Empyrean World into a wondrous sea of violet light.

The Curse Eaters of the Tenth Empyrean World and the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance stared at the magnificent sight.

Awe filled their hearts.

The power displayed by Cain and Nito represented a level that stood beyond the limits of the universe. It was the strength every warrior dreamed of attaining.

However, their admiration soon transformed into battle intent.

The warriors turned toward their enemies.

Then they charged.

The Fallen Empyrean World was once again flooded by battle.

Explosions shook the skies as countless warriors unleashed their power. Golden flames collided with dark Samsara Force, while weapons carrying the might of entire worlds tore through the battlefield.

Yet one figure remained still.

Meylin lay exhausted upon the shattered ground.

Her body was covered in blood, and the power of the Flame of Hope had nearly faded from her soul. Nevertheless, her eyes remained open.

They pierced through the endless sea of purple flames.

Beyond the cosmic fire, two figures stood facing one another.

Cain.

Nito.
