The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2684: Apocalyptic

Chapter 2684: Apocalyptic

Cain’s eyes widened as he stared at the enormous hole carved through the Empyrean Wall and watched the Incarnation of the Samsara Lord tumble through the void.

For a moment, the Scarlet King could hardly believe what he was seeing.

’Am I really this powerful?’

The thought crossed his mind as he felt the lingering sensation of his previous punch. He had unleashed a single blow, yet it was enough to send an existence bearing the essence of the Samsara Lord crashing through the Empyrean Wall.

His heart began to beat faster.

Then faster.

A wide smile spread across Cain’s face.

He was excited.

For years, he had struggled against beings far above himself, constantly relying on plans, treasures, bloodline abilities, and the countless advantages he had accumulated throughout his cultivation path. But now, for the first time, Cain could feel it clearly.

His raw power had reached a completely different level.

Without wasting another moment, the Scarlet King shot through the hole in the Empyrean Wall and chased the Incarnation.

His speed was terrifying.

The black eye on his forehead erased the very concepts of time and space along his path, allowing him to move faster than teleportation itself. Even traveling through the Endless River would be slower than the movement of his body.

In a blink of an eye, Cain appeared above the Incarnation.

His fist descended.

It carried the weight of his newly awakened Fourth Realm Force, falling like a hammer of judgment.

Yet—

It struck nothing.

Cain’s eyes widened.

The Incarnation had regained complete control over its body.

Its figure twisted through an impossible angle, allowing it to evade the punch.

Then its leg flashed upward.

"BOOM!"

The kick landed directly against Cain’s face.

The bones in his skull trembled under the impact.

His vision went dark.

His eyes shut due to the trauma as his body was blasted backward.

Yet before the Incarnation could feel even the slightest satisfaction, its own eyes widened.

Red chains had wrapped around its leg.

Cain’s chains.

They acted like living serpents, locking around the Incarnation’s limb before violently pulling it backward.

Cain still could not open his eyes.

It did not matter.

His body moved on instinct.

He grabbed the chains with both hands and began to spin.

Once.

Twice.

Then faster.

Faster.

Faster!

The Incarnation’s body was dragged around Cain at an absurd speed.

In the blink of an eye, a massive scarlet tornado manifested within the void.

Its size increased with every rotation until it became large enough to swallow entire worlds.

The Incarnation’s body became the center of the storm.

Every revolution placed terrifying stress on its flesh and bones. The pressure around its leg became so immense that even its Fourth Realm body felt as if it might tear apart.

But the physical pressure was not the only danger.

The constant spinning distorted its perception.

The void became a blur.

Direction disappeared.

Distance lost meaning.

The Incarnation attempted to break free, but every time it tried to stabilize itself, another revolution destroyed its balance.

Cain’s muscles bulged.

His Fourth Realm body unleashed every ounce of strength it possessed.

"ARGHHHHHHHH!"

The Scarlet King’s roar echoed through the void.

Finally—

The chains snapped taut.

With one final pull, Cain released them.

The Incarnation of the Samsara Lord was hurled away.

Its body flew farther and farther from the center of the universe, moving so quickly that countless celestial phenomena became nothing more than streaks of light.

It crashed through empty worlds.

They shattered instantly.

It collided with massive celestial structures.

They were crushed.

It tore through one phenomenon after another until, finally—

"BOOOOOOOOOOM!"

Its body slammed into another enormous wall.

This barrier was different.

It was even tougher than an Empyrean World.

The Incarnation slowly extracted itself. Its eyes narrowed as it glanced at the barrier behind it.

The damage was minimal.

Almost nonexistent.

A meaningful light appeared within its eyes.

It understood.

The Scarlet King had deliberately driven the battle here.

Cain no longer charged forward recklessly.

He stopped.

His body settled into a solemn stance.

His eyes remained fixed on the Incarnation as he surveyed their battlefield.

There was nothing around them.

No worlds.

No civilizations.

No armies.

No allies.

Nothing that could be caught in the crossfire.

And behind the Incarnation stood the greatest barrier of all.

The wall that surrounded the entirety of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

Beyond it lay the Emptiness.

The final boundary.

Cain clenched his fists.

"Here..."

His voice was calm.

"...I can unleash everything."

The next instant, all the energy accumulated within his body and soul was released.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

A beam of scarlet, golden, and dark-burning plasma erupted from the Scarlet King’s body.

It was not merely energy.

It was Fourth Realm Force.

The beam expanded.

And expanded.

Within moments, it became so immense that it was capable of swallowing an entire Empyrean World.

The Incarnation felt that overwhelming might.

Its fists clenched.

Its battle will responded.

The power within its body exploded.

Purple light erupted around it, forming an equally massive beam that carried the pure essence of Samsara.

The two Fourth Realm forces collided.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!"

Neither side retreated.

The scarlet-golden-black force attempted to devour the purple energy.

The purple Samsara Force attempted to crush everything in its path.

They pushed.

They resisted.

They collided again and again.

Neither could claim victory.

The battle was too far from the Fallen Empyrean World for the warriors of the Six Sacred Races or the Curse Eaters to perceive it clearly.

But Cain was not entirely without a spectator.

Deep within his soul, the golden humanoid figure of Apex stared at the clash.

His eyes widened.

Apex was ancient.

His knowledge and experience surpassed that of any existence within the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe.

He understood exactly what he was witnessing.

"The Fourth Realm Force of that boy..."

His voice trembled.

"...is actually matching the Samsara Force of the Incarnation."

Apex understood the implications.

This did not mean Cain possessed the same overall power as the true Samsara Lord.

Far from it.

The Samsara Lord was an existence whose true might might even transcend the Fourth Realm.

The Incarnation merely carried a portion of that supreme essence.

But that was not what mattered.

Apex’s eyes became solemn.

"In terms of potential..."

His gaze remained fixed on Cain.

"That boy..."

His voice became almost disbelieving.

"...is on par with the mightiest Eternal of the Tower."

The clash between the two forces continued.

Then—

The void broke.

Both beams suddenly exploded apart.

Two colossal figures emerged from the shattered energy.

From the scarlet, golden, and black radiance emerged a monstrous humanoid.

Its body was colossal, covered in jagged obsidian-like scales.

Crimson fissures spread across its flesh, glowing like rivers of molten blood.

Enormous wings extended from its back, their dark skeletal frames supporting membranes stained a deep, blood-red color.

Multiple curved horns and blade-like protrusions crowned its head, forming a natural crown that gave the monstrous figure an unmistakable aura of royalty.

Radiant red chains of supreme energy extended from its body and disappeared into the surrounding darkness.

Across from him emerged another colossal existence.

A demonic purple dragon.

Massive horns crowned its head, while jagged, armor-like scales covered its enormous body.

Dark violet energy radiated from every inch of its flesh.

Its enormous wings stretched across the void, crackling with golden and black lightning.

Every movement caused energy to scatter through the surrounding darkness.

The two beings were so enormous that their wings could cast shadows across entire Empyrean Worlds.

They stared at each other.

Then—

They moved.

The two colossal figures collided once again.

And this time, the battle that erupted could only be described with one word.

Apocalyptic.
