With a doomsday expression on his face, Gu Qiao followed behind.
"Brother Gu Qiao." Chai Qin walked side by side with Gu Qiao, chuckling mischievously, "Just give in to Madam, stop struggling."
"You little brat." Gu Qiao glared at Chai Qin, "Don’t think that just because Seventh Brother protects you, I won’t dare to hit you. I’m telling you, he can’t beat me."
"Madam, Gu Qiao is threatening me." Chai Qin suddenly raised her voice.

Gu Qingheng shook his head: "Xinxin, Chai Qin has become mischievous under your influence."
"What did you say?" Yang Ruxin immediately glared, pinching his waist.
"My dear wife, I was wrong." Gu Qingheng hurriedly grabbed that little hand, "I meant she’s become lively."

Gu Qingheng’s eyes deepened. After so much time apart, what possessed him to bring her out shopping? They should be in bed. Nonetheless, he seriously took out a handkerchief to wipe the oil off her fingers and, when no one was looking, lowered his head to nibble one of her fingers.
Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but shiver slightly, glancing at him again, but her eyes shimmered with moistness, devoid of any intimidation and instead gleaming with unusual charm.
Gu Qingheng felt a heat rising in his lower abdomen, lamenting silently. This girl had become more bewitching since becoming a mother.
"Madam, they have mugwort cakes over here." Chai Qin suddenly pointed ahead, exclaiming, "They’re my favorite." Her words dispelled much of the allure in Gu Qingheng’s heart.
Chai Qin ran back with four mugwort cakes in her arms, just as someone suddenly came dashing through the crowd in a panic, colliding with many along the way, and seemed about to crash into Chai Qin.
"Watch out." Yang Ruxin instinctively called out.
Fortunately, Chai Qin was quick to react. She swiftly turned to protect her cakes and dodged the oncoming person.
But the person who had almost bumped into her didn’t stop and continued running forward.
