Chapter 2812: Chapter 2812: Mo Chou’s Disciple (4)
The woman spat out a mouthful of blood, but she didn’t die. She tried to prop herself up, but failed.
Gu Qiao went over and grabbed her, tossing her in front of Gu Qingheng.
Nearby, Long Qingye, Lian Jinshu, and the others turned pale with fright, but didn’t dare make a move, fearing they’d attract the attention of those present and receive a palm strike themselves.
"Tough life, huh," Gu Qingheng looked down at the woman. Even though she wore Yuan Mengzhu’s face, her expression and demeanor were all wrong. "I suppose there’s nothing useful you can tell me, right? Then I won’t ask." He waved his hand, "Dispose of her."
The woman’s heart jumped. Was he really not going to ask anything? Wouldn’t it be normal to conduct an interrogation?
But by then, Gu Qingheng had already turned and walked far away.
"Wait," the woman couldn’t help but speak.
Gu Qingheng stopped in his tracks.
"When did you realize I was an impostor?" The woman coughed twice and spat blood again, knowing she would die, yet wanting clarity because she was confident in her Disguise Technique.
"From the moment you appeared," Gu Qingheng turned, smiling slightly. "Though your Disguise Technique is impressive, almost exactly the same, it can only fool those unfamiliar. Your demeanor and reaction are wrong."
The woman smiled bitterly.
"You can depart without regrets now," Gu Qingheng waved his hand.
"No, I have something to say," the woman suddenly spoke anxiously, "I don’t want to die." If she had died from that palm strike earlier, so be it, but it hadn’t killed her. Now facing death again, she was unwilling.
"Then speak," Gu Qingheng turned back, "The opportunity is once. If it’s useless, I’ll have you executed by slow slicing."
"My name is Sakai Moku, a disciple of Mo Chou," the woman hurriedly nodded. "Mo Chou is from Daxuan; her master is You Luosha, the Thousand Faced Avalokiteshvara."
"Who?"
"You Luosha, the Thousand Faced Avalokiteshvara."
Gu Qingheng furrowed his brow. He was well aware of this title; back then, You Luosha astonished two generations in Wulin with her prowess, especially famous for Disguise Technique. Just the nickname tells you that, and she took only two disciples her entire life. The first was Mo Chou, the second was Nian Qianqian.
Years ago, Mo Chou disappeared after stealing a secret book from You Luosha for unknown reasons. Many rumors spread, some said she died, others said she was living in seclusion. But decades passed without news until a fake Li Mingyin appeared, Nian Qianqian then discovered the Sect’s disguise methods.
It seemed Mo Chou fled to Wa Country, and now she’s returned.
Sakai Moku looked at Gu Qingheng, opened her mouth, but then spat another mouthful of blood.
Gu Qiao raised his hand to press several of her acupoints.
Sakai Moku then regained composure: "We are... people of the Sun Cult."
"Sun Cult?" Gu Qingheng’s face darkened.
Sakai Moku nodded, "I don’t want to die."
Gu Qingheng laughed, "As long as your information is valuable enough, you won’t die."
"What I know will definitely interest you," Sakai Moku nodded.
"How do I know you’re not lying?"
"I learned Daxuan language from my master," Sakai Moku looked at Gu Qingheng, "She’s here in Daxuan this time."
Gu Qingheng raised an eyebrow.
But Sakai Moku didn’t speak further. She knew her words had piqued his interest, so as long as he wanted to know more, he wouldn’t kill her.
