The Glorious Evolution

Chapter 419 Unkillable.

Chapter 419  Unkillable.

'Tsk... Fang plays too much.'

The Hound clicked his tongue in irritation, but then his lips curled into a faint smirk.

'Good... if Fang and Rain fail such a simple mission, Master will have no one else but me. He won't give me the cold shoulder anymore.'

Although the Hound knew that these two couldn't be beat by a bunch of children, still... dreaming was free.

Meanwhile, the Bishop was unbothered... although Arthur was saved, his expression remained unreadable. He knew that Fang might play too much, but once he felt that his mission's success was negatively impacted, he turned serious.

"Orry'Xel has been put in a tough spot! All of a sudden, the fight turned to six vs one! Can he survive it?!"

As Gamemaster Envy commented passionately about the rescue's success, he focused on Fang. The viewers were taken aback to see that Fang looked unfazed.

"How surprising... was your captain responsible for this little rescue of yours?" Fang smiled, unbothered that his body was caught under Shia's shadow ultimate.

"Sunflower Cage!"

The response he received was a cage of shadowy sunflowers sprouting from beneath him after Michael fired a bunch of seeds in his direction. The shadowy sunflowers' stems and leaves slithered across his body, tightening around his limbs and neck until his muscles were barely noticeable.

Meanwhile, Nadal, Blake, Rakai, and Tyrese readied the most powerful abilities at their disposal... Tyrese downed three toasts in one go, uncaring of how drunk it might make him. The moment he finished, he wiped his mouth and stepped in front of the entrapped Fang, his muscles squirming nonstop beneath his skin. A tipsy grin lingered on his face, but it did nothing to mask the coldness buried deep within his eyes.

Without hesitation, he appeared right in front of Fang and punched him in the stomach with everything he had.

Booom!!

The aftershock alone was powerful enough to blow off the shadowy sunflowers!

Boom! Boom! Boom!...

Yet, Tyrese was only getting started... he pressed on with a relentless barrage of punches and kicks, each strike faster than the last. Despite the violent bombardment, Nurah kept Fang firmly affixed in place.

Sweat trickled down her face as she strained to maintain the shadowy connection... she knew Fang had to be feeling the full brunt of every blow, with nothing to block or lessen their devastating impact.

"Orry'Xel is bleeding! The assault is getting to him!" Gamemaster Envy shouted. "Will his allies keep spectating this abuse until he dies?!"

Xorr'Vaedryn and his teammates ignored what was happening to Fang, focusing on rebuilding their undead army as fast as possible... without anyone bothering them, they had already crossed the hundred-undead mark and were still pushing for more.

After what happened to the original army, they didn't want to take any more risks, even if it meant wasting most of their energy.

"This is for Ponytail!"

With an animalistic growl, Tyrese smashed Fang's face with a thunderous fist that sent droplets of blood spraying everywhere... as Tyrese huffed and puffed in exhaustion, Fang kept his head lowered. Blood streamed down his face nonstop, and faint bruises had begun to surface across his body.

After downing three toasts, Tyrese's strength was borderline insane... he could kill any Daywalker or Nightwalker in this game with a single direct punch.

Yet, his relentless assault resulted in nothing more than a few bruises and a bleeding nose, further showcasing Fang's ludicrous durability.

"Shit... he is still breathing," Rakai frowned. "What is this monster?"

"Boss, go back! Leave it to me!!"

Blake stepped in front of Fang and swung his electrical whip, wrapping it around Fang's neck as tightly as possible... then he shouted, "Final Discharge!"

Blake's body erupted with electrical discharges... they surged through the whip and into Fang, zapping him relentlessly until his fur stood on end and the air filled with the stench of burnt hair. Yet, Fang barely so much as twitched... he endured the discharge without letting out a single sound.

"What the... how is he still alive?!" Blake's expression turned ugly. "I zapped him with enough electricity to paralyze a Tier 5 Nightcrawler!"

'I will try to detach him from the rope! Prepare to kick him away from it!'

Nurah gave the order the moment she realized they were out of options... the rope had already completed its spin, and if they committed to this strategy, they had to make sure he fell. In her eyes, no matter how freakishly strong his body was, he couldn't defy the game's rules or gravity.

Without hesitation, Nadal and the others prepared another barrage of attacks while Nurah poured her full concentration into unhooking Fang's claws from the rope.

However, she was soon left stunned when Fang didn't budge under her command... she glanced at her shadow and saw it was still firmly connected, and yet... nothing.

When she lifted her head, her heart went ice-cold at the sight of Fang's lips curling into a sinister smile as he slowly licked the blood from them... but what truly terrified her was the violent swell of his veins, bulging and throbbing beneath his skin as if some monstrous engine were pumping through his body.

Then, before her very eyes, his massive muscles began to wither and compress, deflating in a grotesque reversal of strength. The towering Alpha werewolf shrank and twisted, his imposing frame collapsing into that of a gaunt, shriveled outcast... yet the suffocating aura around him only grew heavier!

It was like their abuse had done nothing more than awaken the real beast...

'Retreat now!!!'

Nurah yelled anxiously as she channeled her entire focus to maintain the shadowy entrapment to buy them time... hearing her warning, Nadal and the others made a split-second decision to give up on their assault and trust her judgment.

They instantly split up and sprinted in different directions away from Fang... but alas, all Fang did was take a single step forward, the shadow link cut without much hesitation.

Then... he was gone.

He was so fast that all Nurah smelled was a faint lingering scent of iron passing right under her nose and a fading whisper: I will leave you last.

Nurah froze in her place, her heart beating so fast it felt like it wanted to jump out of her throat and run away. It had been a long while since Nurah felt like this, felt pure dread cloud her heart and mind.

Despite her prowess and talents as an assassin, she knew that if Fang had wanted her dead, she would have been a goner the instant he passed right next to her, and she couldn't even see him!

Slice! Slice!...

Suddenly, Nurah flinched at the sound of two swift, brutal cuts slicing through the air behind her... when she turned her head, her obsidian pupils shrank at the horrific sight before her.

Michael's and Nadal's headless bodies dangled by the ankles from Fang's chained blades... their severed heads lay not far away, still bearing faint traces of confusion, as if they had yet to comprehend that they were already dead.

The attack was so swift that even after losing their heads, they still had no idea what had happened to them...

Tyrese, Blake, Rakai, Shia, Evangeline, Jojo, Mira, and the rest of the Daywalkers were all left stunned at the sight of Fang standing lazily while pulling the two headless bodies toward him... but before the bodies could reach him, they turned into shriveled, grayed corpses as if they were drained of their blood by a vampire.

Everyone shifted their focus to the chained fangs and saw that the tips were dug into their flesh... chills coursed down Nurah's spine, and the rest, realizing at last that the Fang they fought against hadn't used a single ability.

"Now... who's next? I need some fresh blood to restore my beautiful appearance."

Fang smiled faintly as he lazily moved his finger from one surviving Daywalker to another, as if counting livestock... to him, they were nothing more than sheep trapped in a barn with a starving predator.
