Chapter 1000: How Did It Do It?

If he had a fist right now, he would raise it to the sky as he said, "When I have the chance, I will show you how to treat one’s benefactor with unkindness. I will make you rue the day you crossed me. By the time I’m done with you, even your Divine Spark will be mine."

But then he remembered what he planned to do even if the will of the Blessed Heaven World had given him what he asked for. This took the sails from his anger, and he began to chuckle.

As he chuckled, he said, "Anyway, we were always going to fight. I was always going to want more Supreme Metacs, and it was always going to say no. So the only fault here was that it got the jump on me. It was my fault for being too weak."

This didn’t mean that he was going to forgive the Blessed Heaven World for what it did. In fact, it meant the opposite.

If it didn’t matter whether he was going to try to kill the will of the Blessed Heaven World regardless of its reply to his request for one Supreme Metac, then it didn’t matter that the will of the Blessed Heaven World was not completely at fault for trying to kill him first.

Even if he can’t use the Divine Spark, he will still fiddle with it or destroy it when he is done playing with it. And because he is strong enough, he would have done no wrong in the matter.

As he thought of this, he clicked his tongue and said, "It seems I need to visit the other super worlds and see what they are capable of. Fortunately, I already have a plan that will allow me to easily do that."

After he said this, he placed this side quest on his agenda for the future. The action seemed to calm him down somewhat, and he stopped fussing over the things he had encountered in the Blessed Heaven.

His mind stopped being riled up by the thoughts of every extraordinary thing the will of the Blessed Heaven World had done. But then he remembered something else that caused his thoughts to spike again.

"There is also the matter of the will of the world borrowing the power of the Formation Supreme Metac. What’s that about?"

"Not only can it use the entirety of the area of the Blessed Heaven World as its Domain, but it can also use any Supreme Metac anchored to its world. Isn’t that cheating? If every super world can do that, doesn’t mean that they will be stronger than the avatars of Dao Lords in the Sea of Worlds."

Then he remembered another thing that made him say, "Come to think of it, I am a super world too. If I can do something like that, maybe it is not cheating."

From shouting about how something was cheating to changing his tune on the matter, the change was quick. It might be jarring for other people, but to him, the change was natural.

In general, if something is in his favor, it can’t be called cheating. It has to be called ingenuity and thinking out of the box. Only if that thing is unfair against him can it be called cheating.

It is a case of hypocrisy at its finest. Since it is the apex level of hypocrisy, he didn’t think that there was anything wrong with it. In fact, if anything, he felt that he should be rewarded for this level of achievement in hypocrisy.

Thinking this, he chuckled and said, "The world belongs to those who can do hypocrisy right. Only those who can be selfish can lay claim to more of the world."
