Chapter 1205: The Incomplete Lever.

The Dao Lord of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect said to Loki, "We’ve decided to lend you the divine beings and their alliance members for a hundred years. But we have conditions."

"You must promise not to kill them intentionally. You must also promise to try to preserve their lives as much as you can."

"Oh, come on. What do you take me for? Of course, I’m not going to kill them," Loki said, putting on a facade of being offended.

"Swear it," Tepid Scholar insisted.

"The distrust is palpable," Loki said, aggrieved. "But I’ll give you what you want."

"I swear on my Dao Heart not to intentionally kill the divine beings I am about to borrow for a hundred years, save their lives wherever possible, and return as many of them as are still alive after a hundred years, as long as the Dao Lords don’t interfere with them and use them to sabotage my plans during the period I use them."

"There you go. I hope you’re happy," Loki said with a smile.

Tepid Scholar replied stiffly, "I am not happy at all."

"I was right to say that you couldn’t recruit them. But for the first time in a long time, I am not happy that I was right," the Dao Lord of the Myriad Phenomenon Sect said as he closed his rift and disappeared.

"I know the feeling," Black Chain said in melancholy.

"I too don’t like that I was right about what the Sea of Worlds would become if it were unsealed," said the Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect before closing his rift and leaving.

The Dao Lord of the Nexus of Truth Sect said, "I would have been happy if this meeting didn’t hold out at all. Nothing about this makes me happy at all. In fact, I’m sure something is wrong."

She too left after speaking. But she made sure to glare at Loki before leaving.

As for Sword Maestro and Harem King, they left without saying anything to him. This made him chuckle and think, ’It seems these two are too sad to speak about it.’

’I can only imagine how sad they will be when I move on with the next step of my plan. I am willing to bet that they will hate me to the bone.’

He spent a few moments to relish his victory while simultaneously giving the Rank 8 cultivators time to recover from being frozen against their will.

When he thought they had recovered enough, he said, "Let’s go. We have so much to do and so little time to do them. When I am done with you, your lives will be changed and the Sea of Worlds will never be the same."

Before any of them could speak, he waved his arm at them, covering them with the black force field of the Devouring Ability.

He didn’t let the Devouring Ability crush and break their body apart before digesting them. Instead, he let the black force wrap around them and help him carry them along.

The avatar left the Second Heaven before leaving the Blessed Heaven World completely. In the upper realm, Loki was having an auction in his Divine Court for his service in invading worlds.

He offered to help his members invade worlds of their choosing, but only at the highest price, and they had to pay in Olympic Medals.

Loki didn’t want to rush things to maximize how much the members of the Olympic Court would pay. So he notified them of the auction and told them it would be held in one week, giving them time to gather resources.

While the auction was going on, the avatar returned to his work of pushing worlds through the third dimension. His true body also returned to trying to help mortals wield the power of Cave Heavens.

So far, his research has led him to build a large artifact. The artifact is a divine artifact. Its power output is dependent on the Cave Heaven of its user.

He doesn’t have a Cave Heaven anymore, so this artifact is useless to him. Even if he finds a way to make it work with his Domain Power, it will still be useless, since it doesn’t work with Supreme Metacs either.

The divine artifact is a large silver ring. On the surface, it looks like any other divine artifact. But on closer inspection, one would realize the divine artifact is faulty.

A divine artifact is supposed to be a lever system. It should be composed of the lever arm and the fulcrum.

The Cave Heaven is placed on one side of the lever to serve as the effort. Then the lever arm turns over the fulcrum, producing power on the other side to overcome a load and do work.

But in this situation, the divine artifact is only half of a lever system. It has only the fulcrum and lacks the lever arm.

Loki didn’t mind this. In fact, he was satisfied.

He was so satisfied that he nodded and said, "This is good. This way, very few people will be able to copy."

"And if someone can create something better to take the place of the lever arm without the Hunting Form Metac, then they deserve to win."

After inspecting it to make sure nothing was wrong, he began installing the lever arm. The Hunting Form Metac was already activated, so he made it create a wolf manifestation. Then he had the wolf manifestation enter the ring.

Upon entering the ring, it began to shrink around the wolf. The silver ring shrank until it wrapped tightly around the wolf’s neck.

"There goes the lever arm. Now for the anchor," he said as he produced a Divine Position.

The fulcrum of a lever should be the immovable part in the system, and it’s position relative to the lever arm would determine the moment of force and the efficiency of the lever system. Therefore, if the fulcrum moves during the lever’s operation, the lever system won’t be stable.
