Chapter 1302: Burn The World.

In response, White Chain rolled his eyes and said, "So what will you do? You can’t become a Domain King, and you will die."

"Your only choice is to advance to ten-star celestial and become a Domain King in less than one year, before we can mature enough to compete with you. Even then, you will be forced to become a Gemini."

"The only difference between you and us at that time will be that you still possess the memories of your previous identity. So at the end of the day, you’re doomed."

"Do you hear me? You’re doomed," he said, shouting at Loki.

"What will I do?" Loki asked himself.

Then he smirked and said, "It is my way or the highway."

"If I can’t have my way, I’ll set the world aflame and turn everything to ash. That’s what I’ll do, or my title isn’t Ragnarok."

As he spoke, he laughed, cackling like a madman. He was still laughing as he turned to leave.

"What an idiot! What a madman," White Chain said, shaking his head in pity.

But he wasn’t willing to let Loki leave just yet. So he called out, saying, "Have it your way. You will destroy the world if you don’t become Domain King. But you still need to expand your Domain in the lower realm to become Domain King."

"So what do you think about our proposal? I’m sure Heavenly Eagle already told you about it."

Loki replied without looking back, "The deal is good."

But just as White Chain smiled, he heard Loki say, "But after talking to you for so long, I’ve realized that I don’t need you. In fact, I realized that you need me."

"It is just as you said; you’re not the most powerful or talented Gemini youngling. The only reason you have a Divine Mountain right now is because I killed your father, and you squandered your father’s inheritance."

"So you’re not special. Any Gemini youngling could do what you did. Therefore, I’m sure I can find someone better to work with who will pay me more for my services."

"And one last thing. I might be small and inconsequential as you claim, but if I fail, I will fall a colossus," he finished with a voice full of determination.

Then he disappeared from sight, leaving behind White Chain frowning and angry.

"That Ragnarok is too full of himself. His pride will be his downfall. When he dies in a year, I want to be there to see it," White Chain said, his face contorted with rage.

On Loki’s side, he had his avatar set up an auction for partnership and his services in the Divine Court. He offered to help them invade and destroy worlds they wanted or establish Domains on worlds they wanted.

After he was done, he thought, ’That should give the Olympic Sect another edge over whatever this new Divine Mountain is called.’

The new Divine Mountain was called the Heavenly Divine Mountain, and he knew it. He just didn’t like the Divine Mountain because it was a direct competitor to the Olympic Sect.

Even if he ignored the fact that one motivation for helping the Blessed Heaven World ascend was to compete with him, he couldn’t ignore its name. The name of the Divine Mountain alone showed how badly it wanted to beat the Olympic Court.

He called his Divine Mountain the Olympic Court because he wanted it to become the highest mountain in the Sea of Worlds and eventually help him rise above others until he became the Domain King.

In comparison, they called their Divine Mountain the Heavenly Divine Mountain so that even if the Olympic Divine Mountain became the highest mountain, they would be the heavens of the Sea of Worlds and therefore, higher than it.

Something about that grated on his nerves. It didn’t help that the Heavenly Divine Mountain started with 99 slots, while the Olympic Court began with a measly 9.

’It doesn’t mean anything,’ he told himself.

’It only means that the Heavenly Divine Mountain ascended with a lot more size and capacity than I did. As anyone knows, size isn’t everything.’

The Olympic Divine Mountain was created and established with 10 billion square kilometers, while the Heavenly Divine Mountain ascended with over a hundred billion square kilometers in size. As greedy, selfish, and self-centered as he was, he would agree that the size difference should grant perks to the larger one.

But he didn’t think their fundamental quality differed, because one Divine Mountain started with more than 10 times as many slots as the other. The fact that the Heavenly Divine Court also had to start at the bottom with a +10 Authority boost showed that the two Divine Mountains had no significant difference in quality.

However, Blessed Will and White Chain were making people believe he hated the Heavenly Divine Mountain because of the difference in their potential. They claimed that he was feeling threatened, which is why he wanted to destroy the Heavenly Divine Court.

’Like father, like son, I guess,’ he thought, snorting in disdain.

’When they can’t defeat the enemy head-on, they make up lies to slander the enemy. Black Chain did it, and now his showy son is following in his father’s footsteps.’

’The only difference is that White Chain is using this to gather helpers to protect something, and it is working because all of the Dao Lords don’t like me.’

’Unfortunately, just as Black Chain failed to stop me, these will fail too. Their hatred for me can’t keep them there forever. When they leave, I will return and destroy that mountain,’ he thought, grinning with malice.

’And I won’t be destroying it because I’m afraid of its potential. I will destroy it because I lost a lot of power during its creation and promised to destroy it as payback.’

’It is not like I have anything to fear. I have the Olympic Exchange System. What can beat that?" he asked him proudly.
