The guardian shook their head as they said, "You created the Devouring Supreme Metac, so you know best how to fuse other Supreme Metacs with it. Plus, you clearly have the best origin talent for the job."

"I dare say that you would be saddled with the responsibility of turning the Devouring Supreme Metac into a prototype even if you were not the original creator. So there is no way out for you this time."

"You’re simply the best candidate to pick what Supreme Metacs to fuse with your nine other godheads and decide how to fuse those nine godheads into the tenth one. When ten godheads have become one with the Devouring Supreme Metac, the god king should be done with you and can take over from where you left off."

"I see. I should be able to do that," black Loki said with some confidence.

White Loki suddenly asked, "How long do you suppose it will take?"

"If you’re lucky, it can take you a thousand years to reach the peak of Dao Emperor level," the guardian began to say.

"But if you’re unlucky, it can take a million or ten million years. It is really a difficult work that has no easy way around or shortcuts."

"By a conservative estimate, let’s say it takes you 1 year to finish the first fusion with minor Daos, and the difficulty of fusion doubles with every stage. Since you have to perform 17 more fusions to reach the peak of Dao Emperor, you would need 1 year × 2^17, which is 131,072 years to complete the fusions.’

’Take note that this is a very conservative estimate. It also applies to Minor Daos, which are small and have little divinity. Major Daos, Grand Daos, and Cosmic Daos would definitely be more difficult."

"Wait a minute. Don’t all Gemini younglings have access to exchange for Cosmic Daos?" black Loki asked, confused.

"And why should I still have to exchange for it? Why not let me access them for free?" black Loki asked, an unsatisfied expression on his face.

"It is not like I’m going to take them and not return them. I just want to study them."

"Even if I take them forever, shouldn’t I be given them anyway? After all, I’m doing very important work for the Gemini race here?"

One after the other, the two Lokis asked a barrage of questions, protesting what they felt was injustice. They seemed to have accepted their identity as members of the Gemini race and were demanding what they thought was their due.

The guardian thought it was funny as he said, "Supreme Metacs of any kind are still rare resources for us to provide. After all, each one requires the life of a Dao Initiate or costs a godhead of a Dao Lord, so we don’t hand them over anyhow to avoid wastage."

"Gemini younglings are divided into tiers based on their potential and talent. The higher their tiers, the higher the grade of Daos they have access to."

"We have to do this since we don’t actually sell the Supreme Metacs for profit. We sell them subsidized to the Gemini younglings, so we make a loss with each exchange."

"If we sold the Supreme Metacs for profit, we would have fewer reasons to be worried about who buys the Supreme Metac. But since we’re practically giving them away and higher grade Daos will make it more difficult to advance later, we have to restrict who gets access to them."

"You belong to the highest tier, so you get to exchange for Cosmic Daos. Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean you get to take Supreme Metacs free of charge, as this will lead to abuse and wastage."

Before Loki could protest, they said, "But you do have a point. Since you’re only lending the Supreme Metacs to study them, we should be able to accommodate that free of charge."

"However, the Supreme Metacs you want might take time to transport and bring here. After all, we don’t carry every kind of Supreme Metac around, especially not the extremely valuable Cosmic Daos."

Hearing this, Black Loki sighed in relief and said, "I can work with that. So when do I see the list of Supreme Metacs I can get?"

"And how soon do I get them?" white Loki also asked.

Before answering his questions, the guardian took out two round runic balls and tossed one to each of them.
