The God Virus

Chapter 522: Inner Ricando

Chapter 522: Inner Ricando

THE NEXT DAY

Currently, outside his cottage, Virus was inspecting the scenery of Inner Ricando that was visible due to the light of the sun.

As the gigantic inner wall circulated the vicinity at the far distance, various buildings were limiting Virus' sight from witnessing the full image of Inner Ricando.

The crowd of disciples and their family members commuting with different destinations in mind was also a rare sight to see.

'I should design a better and more detailed map of Deity-Half by touring some of the areas.' Pondering that, Virus was immediately on the move.

Since his cottage had been located right beside the inner wall, the furthest edge of Inner Ricando, he had to walk for a while before he eventually came close to the buildings of Deity-Half.

The primary detail Virus had long recognized by now was that his cottage was completely detached from the other people of Deity faction, denoting he was apparently nothing but an outcast.

There was a separate dwelling area for the other members of the Deity faction as even Blaze's other family members lived somewhere called the Deity Chief Office which was situated closest to the wide river that separated Inner Ricando into two equal parts.

'Why does he live on his own? Was he perhaps banished from the Deity Chief Office for some reason?' Although a variety of such contemplations were passing through Virus' head, what he could infer for sure was that the relationship between the late Blaze and his family was not on good terms.

'Well, that's better for me anyway… since less contact means less probability of suspicion and more freedom of movement for me.' Concluding that notion, Virus' attention was drawn to the by-passers all around him.

Nearly everyone that was passing by threw a gaze full of contempt and derision at him before moving on to their path as if he wasn't worth any more of their time.

'Hmm?' Even though Virus was curious about the story behind why they were treating him this way, he proceeded on his way until he reached the shore of the wide river.

Inspecting the extremely wide river that hacked the Poison Deity clan into two factions of Poison and Deity, Virus noticed that many huge constructs were floating on the river itself as the inhabitants of Inner Ricando traveled back and forth from both sides of the river.

Spotting the nearest bridge to his current position, Virus was on the move again as he stepped on it. After taking a dozen steps, Virus arrived in front of a great tower that was floating on the river water itself.

Observing the entrance of the tower, Virus read the signboard.

'Clan Storage…'

After some thought, Virus decided to go in and check the interior.

Upon entry, Virus caught the sight of an abnormally bony old man sitting behind the counter with both his eyes tightly closed.

However, instead of approaching the old man to question and act like he didn't know what the purpose of the Clan Storage was, he instead focused his gaze on other people entering the clan storage and observed them for a while.

When he was finished with his brief observation session, Virus understood that unless the newcomers absolutely had the intention of getting something from the clan storage, they would not bother the bony old man for some reason.

Instead, anyone who arrived at the storage would directly go over to the small shelf of books and start scanning them.

Hence, imitating their actions, Virus also ambled beside the shelf and picked two random books before reading their cover.

[Copper Category]

[Copper Category]

'Hmm, both have the same title?'

Opening the books next, Virus skimmed through both books until coming to learn that the books contained the names and descriptions of hundreds of items and merchandise with a certain price called Clan Credits added after each item.

[Basic Nourishment Pill, Description: By taking the pill, you won't feel hungry for three days. Price: 10 Clan Credits]

[Basic Manual of Inner Ricando Facilities, Description: A guide for showing you the way and better understanding of the clan. Price: 1 Clan Credit]

After briefly going through some of the items, Virus put them down.

No longer hesitating, he unleashed his sense of awareness on the entire shelf itself.

Subsequently, the knowledge regarding all of the books on the small shelf materialized in his mindscape.

According to the relevant information he extracted and analyzed, Virus now knew that the books were separated into three different respective groups of Copper Category, Silver Category, and Gold Category.

Furthermore, after reading a specific book called the Clan Storage Manual, Virus came to learn that each disciple was categorized according to their overall talent as they were placed in one of those three categories of Copper, Silver, and Gold.

After the analysis, Virus could also vaguely deduce there was another talent class above the Gold Category. Alas, it wasn't mentioned in the manual and neither was there a book by that title on the shelf.

'So, the disciples are categorized based on their talent and that determines what kind of item they can buy from the Clan Storage…'

Although that thought was passing through his head, there was another notion that was attracting Virus to itself.

And that was the names of specific objects in the Silver and Gold Category books. The first name that garnered his focus was written within a Silver Category handbook.

[Love Blood Kernel Seed, Description: Boosts and enhances the cultivation of those in the first level of Sublimity Emergence. As long as you have enough Love Blood Kernel Seeds, you can directly breakthrough to the second level of Sublimity Emergence. Price: 100 Clan Credits]

'What? That's also possible? What kind of miraculous seed is that?' This was Virus' immediate reaction after coming across that name in his mindscape.

According to Virus' knowledge of cultivation, the next stage of cultivation, aka Sublimity Emergence, was different from the earlier stages in that originally, there wasn't supposed to be a single item or pill that could amplify or assist in breaking through its levels faster.
