Chapter 535: Torrigan, the Queen of Demonica

"Aion’s the god of chaos and destruction? That’s the first time I’m hearing about this. Leo, is that his title or something?"

"No, but that’s what he’s known for. That crazy fucker."

"I see. Wait! Aion’s here?!"

"That’s such a backward reaction." Telia shook her head.

"Okay, let’s back up for a second. Orrigan sister, what’s your name?" Kai healed her body and helped her stand up.

"I’m Torrigan, the final sister that you haven’t met until now. It’s nice to meet you, Kai, or should I say, future husband?" She smiled

"I like you already."

"But now’s not the time for flirting. You see, Demonica is the final continent that you haven’t been to yet. It’s a combination of the demon world and the mortal world. We demons and mortals live together in harmony. In fact, our energies merged into one."

Torrigan showed off demonic mana.

"That’s freaking cool."

"Indeed. I was speaking with Lady Nox, the goddess of Demonica, and she was telling me that you had visited multiple continents already and were on your way to Frostina."

"Frostina? That was a long time ago." It had been over two years since Jin was there.

"Yes, I know. However, that was when he attacked. He launched a secret invasion into our continent, knowing that you would visit it last, and started slaughtering our people. He forced people to serve him or die."

"Did you all fight back?"

"We tried, but we failed. He’s too strong. I gathered all of our forces, used every artifact, and had help from Nox, but it was a one-sided defeat. We stood no chance. Demonica was once a beautiful place, but now it’s a wasteland that’s filled with that horrible energy that corrupts everything!"

"Primordial Decay." Kai REALLY hated that energy. He looked at Leo, who simply shrugged, then looked away.

"What happened to Nox?" Kai asked

"She knew that if she fell, Demonica would fall as well. So, she took advantage of you, sir Leo.

"Me?"

"Yes. She hid in her sister’s domain, Aquaphina. Since you have family there, Kai’s children and their mothers, she knew that she would be safe there. Lady Nox also urged me to hide with my sisters, but instead, I decided to seek you out."

"Ahh. But how did you crashland here?"

"I was followed and attacked. The forces of Aion aren’t demons or mortals, but outer deities. They control Demonica, enslaved our people, and killed those who opposed them."

Kai rested his hand on his chin, taking in all of her words. He didn’t like this one bit. This planet was his home, and every continent was going to house his women and children, so he was not going to let it be destroyed. Besides, he hated his brother.

"You said you were attacked, right?" Telia asked

"Yes."

"Then I can assume you were followed as well?"

Torrigan nodded. "Yes. I was not strong enough to hold them off, so I used every ounce of my power to arrive here after my sister Yorrigan told me that you were here. So my pursuers are most likely close by."

"Nah, they’re here already." Leo turned around and created a barrier over the entire continent, protecting it from a catastrophic explosion that could have wiped the entire place out.

"I’ll do the same with the other continents to defend your family, Kai, but the rest is on you. This is your trial." He vanished

"I really hate him sometimes. ’This is your trial,’ when it was YOUR fault that this shit is happening in the first place." Kai didn’t let that bother him, though, and went to confront the two people who were attacking the barrier Leo had put up.

"Wait, Kai. They could be extremely dangerous." Telia didn’t want him to go headfirst into his death.

"I’ll be fine, don’t worry. Tell the others about the situation. Torrigan, let’s go."

"I’m right behind you."

Kai left the castle, floating up into the air, where he came face to face with the two gods attacking the barrier.

"The bitch is here." An ugly god laughed

"Ran away to find your boyfriend?" A woman goddess smirked

Torrigan gritted her teeth and nearly lunged to attack, but Kai stuck out his arm to stop her from doing anything stupid.

"Leave." He demanded.

"And who are you to tell me what I can and can’t do?" The god looked at his companion and pointed his thumb at Kai, laughing.

This caused Kai to raise an eyebrow. ’They don’t know who I am? That shouldn’t be the case. Aion is after me, so he should have informed his men who I am, right? Hmm.’

"Listen, you’re cute, so I’ll let your words slide." The goddess smiled. "But you’ll have to give up that little bitch behind you and become my slave."

"How old are you?"

"It’s rude to ask a woman their age."

Kai nodded. "My bad. How much do you weigh then?"

A vein bulged in her forehead, and she struck the barrier with so much power that the entire continent shook.

"You little shit! Fuck being my slave, I’ll just fucking kill you!"

"Kill me?" Kai stepped out of the barrier, and his aura dominated the two gods, forcing them all the way down into the open ocean below.

He followed them, entering the oven until they all reached the ocean floor. Since they were all deities, they could see, hear, and speak perfectly fine underwater, not even needing to breathe.

"You don’t even know who I am, yet you threaten to kill me? Did my older brother not tell you of me?"

The words ’older brother’ caught the attention of the two gods. They knew that they were after Aion’s little brother, but they had no idea what he looked like or sounded like.

The only thing they knew about him was his name, Kai.

"Y-Y-You’re Kai?! THE Kai?" The woman felt her left flash before her eyes."

"W-We didn’t know you were him! Please forgive us!"

’This is weird. They should be attacking me, not begging me to spare them. Hmm, I’m going to try something.’

Kai pointed his finger at the man and blasted his head off. Since he was a god, he survived and his divine essense remaned. However, Kai was not about to absorb it in case Aion did something to him.

"S-Sir Kai! Please spare me!" The ugly god begged.

"No." He destroyed the man’s essence, then turned his attention to the woman.

"You’re attractive, so I spared you."

"T-Thank you!"

"Go back to Demonica and tell Aion that I’ll be there soon."

"Y-Yes! Understood!" Feeling the pressure of Kai’s energy fade, she blasted into the air and took off toward Demonica.
