Chapter 549: Goodbye, beautiful Planet

Kai fell to his knees, feeling his body break down like Aion’s own. When stabbing his older brother in the heart, the blade made from Leo’s hair also stabbed him in the chest.

"Fuckkk! This is the most pain I’ve ever been in!" Kai felt as if every atom in his body started to break down one by one, dismantling his entire body, but that wasn’t all. He could feel changes happening to him.

His energy was becoming more chaotic, primal in a way. It was as if his powers were returning to their original state, uncontrolled and wild. It was merging back into the universe itself.

"God dammit! I’m re-entering Leo!" He tried to stabilize himself, but it didn’t work. Whatever was happening to him, the forces of the universe were too powerful to combat, and so he passed out.

"What a crazy bastard! I can see everything, yet I didn’t even know you took my hair. I guess your powers are developing faster than I thought." Leo touched Kai’s back, stopping the universal forces from taking his son away.

Though it wouldn’t matter if it did, because Kai was like Leo, so if he didn’t do anything, Kai would have come back anyway. But that could take a while, and he didn’t want Kai to be gone for that amount of time, not because he couldn’t wait, but because of his family.

"I guess this was too much for him, huh? He’s not waking up anytime soon."

Leo looked around at the destruction caused by Kai and Aion’s fight, waving his hand to restore all of it. He even restored the damage done to Demonica, making it habitable again. He also killed all of the gods there since they had no place in this world.

"Torrigan," Leo called out to her, appearing in the pocket dimension.

Turning around to see who had called for her, Torrigan was shocked to see the progenitor standing behind her with Kai in his arms.

"P-P-Progenitor! What brings you here, sir!" She went on her knees right away, not daring to show the man any disrespect, even if he was going to be her father-in-law soon.

"Your kingdom is restored, and you can return to the land. Aion has been defeated, somewhat. I’ll be on my way." He disappeared.

"Kai won? Thank you, Kai." She smiled, then turned to her people."

"What? Are you leaving already? I thought there would be more time. Can’t he stay longer?" Kyana begged.

It wasn’t just her who was begging, but all of Kai’s family. They were still at the house and were even watching Kai fight his brother.

"So the time has come, huh?" Cassie wasn’t looking forward to her sons fighting each other, but she knew that there was no other option.

"Daddy! Don’t go!" Kai’s daughters ran over to Kai’s unconscious body, which was lying on the couch, and jumped on top of him, clinging to his body so he wouldn’t leave.

Cassie picked up two of Kai’s daughters and held them in her arms. "My sweet grandbabies, it’s okay. Daddy will be back before you know it. He will also bring you presents upon his return!"

"Really?"

"Of course! You know how awesome your father is."

"Daddy is awesome!"

While it was a nice sight to see their children happy, Kai’s women were still pretty bummed. They were used to him being gone, sure, but they could visit him whenever they wanted, but simply chose not to, since not all of them were strong enough to accompany him on his journeys.

"Can we say goodbye?" Sophia asked

"Nope. If you do, then Kai will wish to stay longer than normal, which will delay my plans. I was going to leave without even coming here, but I decided to be nice and let you see him one last time. Besides, all of you have some work to do anyway."

"Work?" None of them knew what Leo was talking about, but it was Cassie who decided to inform them.

"Ahem. Staying mortal forever isn’t for the best in your situation, so you’ll be working with me to break through the mortal realm and step into the realm of divinity. Look at Nadya, she already got lessons from me and is a demigod now."

"Wait! If we become gods, then we could help Kai out all the time!"

"Yes! Sign me up!"

"I’ll be the strongest god yet!"

Leo and Cassie smiled, and they both nodded their heads at each other.

"Alright, it’s time to go. We’ll be seeing you guys later." Leo grabbed Kai, then teleported into space.

"Now that the boys are gone, let’s get started on making all of you dieties, including you, my sweet grandbabies!"

"Nngh! W-What happened? Where am I?" Kai woke up to see himself in the dark void that was space.

"Shit! I really did become one with Leo! God dammit! I don’t wanna be stuck inside that fucking bitch! Fuckkk! I can’t even see my family anymore! What if I start beating him up from the inside? You know what Poseidon, Hades, and the others should have done to Kronos." Kai started punching space.

"Take this! And that! And that! Fuck you bitch! I’m gonna make you barf my up! HYAHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh—L-Leo?!" Kai had done a flip kick, only to see Leo looking at him with a confused expression, two ice cream cones in his hand, one for him and the other for Kai.

"Uhh, what are you doing?"

"I was...uhh...AHEM! I was simply refining my martial arts. You know, training?"

"Right. Ice cream?"

"I’m more of a Klondike bar type of guy."

"It’s a Klondike ice cream cone."

"Ahh." Kai took the cone and started eating it. "What are we doing in space? And I’m not inside you, am I?"

"The fuck? Why would you be inside me? That’s fucking gross, man."

"Listen. You’re literally the universe, okay. Everyone’s technically inside you!"

"Dude, don’t say it like that. It sounds weird! And we’re headed to Divinity City."

"Ohhh! Divinity City? Sweet. Let me go say bye to the fam real quick." Kai smiled and just floated still in space.

"Odd. I’m not teleporting back to the planet."

"Yeah, cause I blocked you from doing that."

"Hmm. Why?"

"Don’t question me, son."

"Ew! I’m gonna barf! Ugh! Don’t call me that unless we’re having a sentimental moment or some shit, you literal motherfucker!"

"Haha! Keep up, space is vast, and you could get lost."

"Yeah, get lost inside you, huh? What part of your body is this sector of the universe? It better not be your fucking balls, you bastard!"

"Why would this sector be my balls? Why are you even talking about this?!"

"LEO!"
