The Hero of Hypnosis

Chapter 553: Actions have NO consequences

Chapter 553: Actions have NO consequences

Mark and Leeland grabbed their heads upon being slammed into a stone wall that broke their momentum. The shock of being attacked by someone strong enough to hurt them rattled their minds for a bit.

When they came back to reality, they were pissed.

Mark growled. "How dare that bastard—"

"How dare I do what?" Kai slammed his fist into the wall, shattering it with one blow

Mark rolled out of the way, and Leeland leaped over him, attempting to kick Kai in the ribs.

When his foot connected, Leeland smiled, but then he realized that Kai was only fucking with him, and like a snake, Kai wrapped around his leg, moving behind him, and kneed Leeland in the back, then slammed his head into the ground.

"Is this where the saying ’eat dirt’ came from?" Kai wondered

Mark swung at Kai’s head with a sword he materialized in his hand. He didn’t care who Kai was. All he cared about was the fact that Kai had attacked him and his cousin, and he wasn’t going to let his family’s honor be sullied like that.

Kai bit the sword, snapping it in half.

"W-What kind of animal are you?!"

"The kind that fucks you up!" A powerful kick made Mark crumple like a test dummy as he flew into a building, getting knocked out.

"You’re dead! You hear me!" Leeland shouted from under Kai.

"Huh? You’re a bit muffled. Speak up." He slammed Leeland’s head into the ground once more and continued to do it until the guy passed out.

"Heh, what a lousy bunch of idiots." Kai tossed the guy into his cousin.

"Ugh, seriously, Kai? Didn’t I tell you about the rules here?" Andromeda didn’t feel like dealing with the consequences of what would happen next.

"You really messed up." Medea sighed

"Nah, I’m fine. Besides, I was never one for following the rules. Do you know how many tests I cheated on in school? A lot of them."

Around Kai and his sisters, onlookers backed away from the area, not wanting to be involved in what was going to happen next. They spoke in low tones, ridiculing Kai for his actions, while some felt sorry for him.

There were a few who had an excited expression on their faces, happy to see someone knock some sense into Mark and Leeland.

"Well, that was fun. What else is there to do in this place?" Kai was ready to move on with his tour.

"Nothing. You’re in trouble now. The authorities are going to come soon." Right as Andromeda finished speaking, a group of five primordial beings draped in neutron star material as armor walked over to Kai.

"Are you the one who caused all this commotion?" One of the primordials asked

"Yeah! It was him! He caused all this damage!" One onlooker ratted him out.

Kai looked the guy in the face, then blasted his head off. "I don’t like snitches."

Medea and Andromeda face-palmed. "I’ll see what I can do for you, Kai. Don’t cause too much trouble, please."

"No promises." He grinned

"Come with us." The man demanded.

"What if I say no?"

All of them pulled out their weapons. "Then we’ll have to take you by force."

"Mhmm. I see. Then, what if I do this!" His eyes glowed red, and Kai attempted to hypnotize these five primordials, but when he saw the color of their aura, he knew he messed up.

[Color - Black: Are you stupid? Do you want to die?]

"Oh, so now you’re coming back, status window? I should call you a fucking system. I bet that’s a slur in your language, you bitch!"

---

Kai was in an interrogation cell surrounded by three of the primordials who arrested him. He wasn’t stupid enough to fight them, and while he could have teleported away, he wanted to know where this would go.

"And as I was talking to my friend, he just came out of nowhere and attacked me! Mark and I had no choice but to defend ourselves! Ask around, you’ll see that others will tell you the same story." Leeland told the man who arrested Kai.

"I want him dead!" A woman yelled from outside the room.

"Lady, I can hear you." Kai retorted

"Good! How dare you attack my son and nephew!"

"Ahh, so you’re the reason why they’re both bitches. They were raised by one."

"You little—"

"Calm down, ma’am. And you, troublemaker, shut your mouth!" The knight demanded

They were knights, the ones who arrested Kai. The security knights, that’s their name.

"I’m gonna have to decline that offer. However, I’ll double it and give it to the next person."

One knight standing behind Kai slammed his spear on the ground to intimidate him, but that wouldn’t work against someone like him.

Kai turned around. "Dude, that’s loud, stop." He was being like this on purpose because he wanted to know how they would react upon learning who he was. So the more trouble he caused, the more shocked they will be when they learn who his father was.

’Yup, I’m being one of those kids. Using my father’s name to do whatever I want. I’m a spoiled kid, and I wholeheartedly embrace that.’

"Speak one more word, and I will slit your throat. You won’t die, but it will stop you from talking."

Kai looked at the knight. "I want a lawyer."

Unfortunately for the knight, he couldn’t slit Kai’s throat for speaking those words. Every person here was entitled to one, so the knight sucked his tongue and informed the other knight of Kai’s words.

"Do you have a lawyer who will represent you? Or do we have to find one for you?"

"I have one. His name is Leo." Kai waited for the mic drop, but nothing happened.

’Ahh, right. No one knows him by that name.’

"Ahem. Please let me redo that. I want my father to represent me."

The knight nodded. "Who is your father?"

"Oh, you know, just some guy named Nemean."

Everyone paused. This was what Kai was waiting for. No one in Divinity City was named Nemean except for one person, the progenitor, and no one could be named after him.

"How dare you invoke the progenitor’s name like that!" Invoking Leo’s name was a crime punishable by death, so the knight jabbed his spear at Kai.

"Leo! Help! I’m gonna get killed by these horrible men!"

The spear shattered upon touching Leo’s chest, and he looked down at Kai with a tired expression.

"Dude, what are you doing? Didn’t I tell you not to cause trouble?"

"I don’t recall such a thing." Kai stood up, breaking out of his restraints with ease.

Everyone around the room was baffled to see their leader, their creator, arrive to save their prisoner. Even Mark, Leeland, and his mother were in shock seeing Leo arrive.

"P-Progenitor! We are humbled by your presence!" They all bowed, getting extremely low.

"Kai, why are you locked up?"

"Those two idiots over there started flirting with Andromeda and Medea. They also said that I’m a low-born bastard and that my father must be a little bitch to have a little bitch of a son like me. Their words, not mine."

The faces of Leeland and Mark went cold. They would never say such things about the progenitor because they knew it meant forfeiting their life.

"S-SIR! WE DIDN’T SAY THAT! P-PLEASE BELIEVE US! WE WOULD NEVER SAY SUCH A THING!"

"Oh, so now you’re saying I’m lying? Why would I lie to my father to get out of this situation without any consequences? That’s stupid." Kai smirked

Leeland knew what Kai was doing because he had just done the same thing a few moments ago.

’Dammit! I fucked up! I really fucked up.’

"Man, I was getting ready to announce your arrival and shit, and now you do this? You just ruined your image!" Leo sighed

"I don’t care about my image. I’m only here to kill Aion anyway."

Everyone shuddered upon hearing Aion’s name. Nemean’s firstborn.

"Ugh, whatever." Leo turned to the others. "Now, what should I do about you three?"

"P-Please have mercy!" The mother begged.

"Didn’t I tell you to stop hanging around my daughters?" Leo’s eyes made Mark and Leeland feel the most fear they had in their lives

"S-Sir, technically, you told us to only back off if they start to get physical." Mark hoped Leo wouldn’t kill him for saying this.

"Oh yeah. I did say that. Well, since you didn’t disobey me, I’ll let things slide."

"T-Thank yo—" A hole was blasted in his head before he could finish.

"I wont, though! Hahaha! Yeah, fuck you! Don’t you know the saying that there’s always a bigger fish? Well, you’re looking at him, the bigger fish."

"Kai, don’t start killing people on your first day." Leo revived Mark, who was in shock from dying.

"Why not?"

"This isn’t the mortal realm where you can do what you want. The people here can actually do something to you."

"Ahh. And I can’t use your name to help me when I’m in a pickle?"

"No."

"Unfortunate. Mom."

Cassie arrived. "You can use my name."

The others greeted Cassie, queen of Divinity City.

"Yeah, yeah. Anyway, don’t bother me for the time being, I’m doing important work." She vanished

"At least mom loves me."

"Fuck off."
