Chapter 821: Important Information from Malverna
"I don’t want to lose you again!"
Her voice echoed through the room.
Chloe’s face was covered in tears. She looked so fragile and heartbroken, like she might break at any moment.
"Do you know how painful it is to wait for a thousand years?" she sobbed. "It’s painful... so painful! I kept waiting for you, but you never came back. I even forgot your face and what you looked like... I don’t want to go back to those days ever again. I want you to stay by my side! Wuaaah!"
Her crying grew even more intense.
The leader of the Falling Star Academy, respected by everyone, now looked vulnerable and helpless, like a little child who had kept her sadness buried deep inside her heart for far too long.
Nolan simply watched her cry in silence. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to comfort her; crying was the best way to release all the pent-up emotions she had been carrying.
A few minutes passed, and Chloe’s sobbing gradually subsided. However, tears still streamed from the corners of her eyes. Her face was as red as a tomato, and snot dripped from her nose.
Unable to move her body, Chloe could only turn her face to the side.
Nolan smiled gently. Taking out a handkerchief, he wiped the tears and snot from her face.
Chloe didn’t resist. She simply let him do as he pleased.
When he was done, Nolan pressed his index finger against her neck, stomach, the center of her chest, and her forehead.
Chloe regained control of her body.
"I’m sorry," Nolan said, bowing his head. "I underestimated how much sadness and loneliness you were carrying. I deserve to be punished. But can you forgive me?"
Regardless of the reason, Nolan felt he was at fault in this matter. Therefore, he wasn’t ashamed to apologize.
Chloe looked up at Nolan, who was still bowing his head.
"No, you don’t need to apologize, Brother Nolan."
Chloe shook her head. Straightening her posture, she said softly, "It all happened because of my selfishness. I should have realized and accepted from the beginning that we couldn’t be together. But instead, I treated you badly."
Now that she had calmed down, Chloe realized she had gone too far.
She had used a special sleeping drug to knock Nolan out, planning to force him to stay by her side.
But deep down, she knew what she did was wrong. Nolan was her savior. How could she have brought herself to do something like that?
Nolan smiled and pulled her into his embrace.
Stroking her head, he reassured her, "It’s okay. I’m not angry with you, and I certainly don’t hate you. Don’t worry."
Chloe buried her face in his broad chest. The warmth reminded her of the day she and Nolan first met.
Back then, she was just a blind girl who had lost all hope in life. Nolan had appeared like a ray of light, shining through the darkness that surrounded her.
The two remained in each other’s arms for several minutes before finally pulling apart. Reluctance was clearly written across Chloe’s face, but she knew she couldn’t be selfish.
"All right, we’re already late for the contest. Go get dressed. I’ll wait for you outside."
As he said that, Nolan didn’t forget to sneak one last glance at Chloe’s ample chest before getting off the bed and walking away.
Noticing that glance, Chloe was startled for a moment before a faint smile spread across her face.
"It looks like I still have a chance after all," she whispered, her confidence slowly returning.

Nolan closed the door and leaned against the wall.
"Tsk! I didn’t expect the famous Singularity of Chaos to be such a lecher."
A mocking voice echoed in Nolan’s mind.
Nolan chuckled softly.
"So you watched everything from the beginning, Malverna?"
"Yes, I saw it all. To be honest, I never expected you to have experienced something like that. Going back to the past, huh? What exactly happened?"
"It’s a long story. I’ll explain it later," Nolan replied calmly. "Alright, let’s get straight to the point. Why did you contact me? It can’t be just to tease me, right?"
"Pfft!" Malverna chuckled. "You really are perceptive. Yes, I contacted you because there’s something I need to discuss. It has to do with the woman you call the Incarnation of the Goddess of Life."
Nolan’s expression immediately turned serious.
Several months had passed since Jorgan contacted him with the results of the search, but they had ultimately led nowhere.
Still, Nolan wasn’t angry. After all, finding someone believed to be the Incarnation of the Goddess of Life was no easy task. It was so difficult that even Nolan couldn’t accomplish it alone.
"Tell me," Nolan said in a heavy voice.
"Yesterday, the demons discovered a young girl on the western continent. She’s around fourteen or fifteen years old," Malverna explained seriously. "And do you know what? A month ago, she suddenly awakened an extraordinary healing power. With a single touch, she can heal all external injuries in the blink of an eye."
Nolan’s eyes widened. "Are you serious? Then what about internal injuries? Can she heal those as well?"
"We don’t know yet. The girl has turned her home into a healing center and earns money by treating people who come to her for help. The problem is that none of her patients have had internal injuries so far. My subordinates are still investigating. Once we learn more, I’ll let you know."
Nolan furrowed his brow and gave a slight nod.
"I understand. Please keep an eye on her."
"Don’t worry."
The two exchanged a few more words before ending the conversation.
Nolan took a deep breath and slowly exhaled.
His expression turned cold.
"The Incarnation of the Goddess of Life... I want to meet her as soon as possible," he muttered, clenching his fists.
For a long time, he had wanted to know why he had been reincarnated into this world.
Even though he was enjoying his life here, he still couldn’t shake the question from his mind. There was no way everything had happened by chance.
The Sun God had also confirmed that there was a purpose behind his reincarnation, making him even more eager to meet the Incarnation of the Goddess of Life.
Clack!
The door slowly opened, and Chloe stepped out wearing a black dress.
Combined with her black hair, she looked like a goddess of the night who had descended into the mortal world.
"Let’s go."
Chloe wrapped her left arm around his, pressing her soft, full chest against him.
Nolan suppressed the turmoil in his heart and walked away with her.
...
An hour had passed, and the contest between the Falling Star Academy and the Tower of Silence had reached its climax.
"The next match is Sharon Lorian from the Falling Star Academy versus Jisha from the Tower of Silence!"
As soon as the announcement was made, the crowd erupted with excitement.
"I’m rooting for Jisha! She’s definitely going to win!"
"Hahaha! Are you kidding? Win? Senior Sharon is definitely going to win!"
"What did you say?"
An argument immediately broke out among the students.
Nolan made his way to the main seats and found Seira, Rafine, and Eira sitting there with nervous expressions.
When they saw him, their eyes widened.
"Nolan, where have you been?" Rafine asked worriedly.
Nolan was about to answer when Seira suddenly moved closer and grabbed his arm.
She sniffed him and immediately caught the strong scent of a woman’s perfume.
"Who were you with?" she asked coldly, her golden eyes as sharp as blades.
Nolan: "..."
