I hovered in the sky, my gaze roved over the ground, observing the reactions of the people below.

For some, their instinct was to step back, as if trying to create distance between themselves and this mess. Panic fueled their steps, and they soon broke into a sprint.

Others, gripped by fear, seemed to be immobilized. They stood like statues, their eyes fixed firmly on the dark figure above.

I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions.

This kind of fear, born from the realization that I was a demon lord, was an unfamiliar sensation.
