Foxy shook her head from side to side. "That’s all," she replied.

"Thank you," I expressed gratitude.

"Master, you look calm. Why doesn’t that bother you?" Foxy probed again.

I met her gaze. "You mean about their plan to kidnap me?"

Foxy nodded. "That means you will be taken to their headquarters, right?" she continued.

"I know with your power it won’t be a problem, but you don’t know how much angelic power they have collected from that angel," Foxy voiced her concerns.

I flashed her a reassuring smile.

"Don’t worry about it. In fact, I want to know how much angelic power they have stored and how much they can give me," I asserted.

The confidence in my tone masked the subtle worry that nestled in my thoughts.

"You’re not afraid it will hurt you?" Foxy probed again.

I shook my head in a nonchalant gesture, attempting to downplay the gravity of the situation. "I have trained in the Abyss. It shouldn’t be that bad," I offered as a point of comparison.

"Besides, I have you guys. In the worst-case scenario, I will ask you guys to pick me up," I declared with a hint of assurance.

Foxy’s nod echoed a silent agreement.

"Take a rest," I said.

"What about you?" Foxy inquired again, her eyes reflecting both curiosity and genuine care.

I waved off her concern with a dismissive smile. "I will contact Mrs. Clea for a moment," I assured her.

"Okay," Foxy said.

I used my telepathy to Mrs. Clea.

’Do you need more time to clean up this incident? You can pick Jill up tomorrow,’ I conveyed.

’I need more time, but I’ll pick her up today. The organization will put their eyes on you, so it would be better to take Jill as far away as possible,’ Mrs. Clea cautioned.

A long exhale escaped my lips.

’Okay. Just tell me if you need to take her with my portal,’ I responded.

’I actually want to refuse it, but I think I have to accept that,’ she affirmed once more.
