Chapter 2199: Hope everything will be fine

"This specific suit has gone through one hundred and thirteen different levels of refinement," Geeves said with a hint of pride as he showed Liz one of his finest works. "Lex had very specific requirements for your suit. Defensive, lightweight, flexible, all that yeah, but the thing he paid most attention to was completely isolating your presence."

Liz knew exactly why Lex had paid attention to such a thing. In fact, as someone who had spent the majority of her life on the run from various groups trying to get access to her due to her unique 100% Beastmaster fusion ability, she understood how dangerous it was to be weak while having something valuable.

Now, not only did she have the 100% compatibility with her bonded beast, she was bonded to a Sovereign! If someone learned about that, she would once again have to go on the run! The only reason that she wasn’t too concerned about it, to the point of being willing to follow Levi into the Dream realm, was because Nemo could hide himself perfectly.

All Nemo had to do was desire to be undetectable, and almost no one could find or sense him. That ability, which belonged to all Sovereigns, was the source of her confidence for this mission.

Of course, if Lex had made preparations to hide her secret even better, she would not reject his thoughtfulness.

"It’s not just the material used to make this suit that are exceptional," said Geeves as he ran his hand over the suit, falling in love with it. "Lex himself contributed to the treatment of the material many times. We would have continued to enhance the suit right up until it was required. Since that time has now arrived, Lex informed me earlier to wrap things up. Even as it is now, this suit is one of my best works.

"It makes you entirely undetectable, with activatable invisibility that allows you to avoid detection via spirit sense and karma even from Celestial Immortals. It has anti-divination and anti-tracking properties, and can’t even be traced via a dragon’s treasure sense! As if that is not enough, it can allow you to change your appearance and life-signatures as you wish, allowing you near perfect camouflage. The suit itself can also change its appearance as you wish, taking any form you desire."

Liz was stunned, and then filled with excitement! She immediately grabbed the suit and ran into the dressing room, ready to change while Geeves looked towards Levi.

"Don’t worry, you weren’t left out either," the tailor said, flashing the Rosy bear a confident smile. "In Lex’s words, ’Liz will drag that poor bear into some kind of unpredictable trouble’ so he looked into the Rosy bear race’s speciality and had me design a suit to compliment you as well. Unfortunately, my own level is too low, so I can’t exactly make a perfectly optimised suit for a Celestial Immortal, but I did my best."

Geeves handed the bear her suit as well.

"I think you’ll find this suit will perfectly compliment the Righteous Fury transformation of the Rosy Bear race, and it’ll look quite flattering while doing so."

Levi was overwhelmed by this unexpected favor. Although Geeves was not as vocal in describing her suit as he was with Liz’s, that did not mean that her suit was cheap, or easy to make. After all, the Righteous Fury ability of her race was one that directly tapped into the law of Anchor, and there were very few things that could bear it, let alone enhance it!

A few minutes later, Liz and Levi both left the shop, wearing their brand new suits. They were filled with hints of excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead, though Liz repeatedly reminded herself that she was not going on vacation, and that their task would be filled with danger.

As if to emphasise just that, the moment they used a tavern to enter the tavern in the Dream realm, they were assaulted by a thick, black smoke. Levi, a peak Celestial Immortal, immediately detected the unusual laws that were trying to affect their minds, while Liz was protected by Nemo. Even if it was the Dream realm, it would not influence them as easily as it had done so many others.

A blinding, white light erupted from Levi’s eyes, tearing through the smoke and cleansing the room they were in. Liz, meanwhile, activated the techniques given to her by Lex. He’d already told them about how to combat the natives of the realm, as well as avoid the influence of the realm itself.

Yet before the two of them could even begin to unleash their power, they were teleported away directly from within the tavern. This time, it was not the Dream realm that had taken them away, but the influence of the Tower of Providence.

They found themselves standing in a large hall, filled with ten other individuals - all chosen of the Tower of Providence.

"Good. We’re all here," spoke a phoenix once it spotted them both. "Now I can reveal the contents of our mission within this realm. We have to rescue a certain someone who has been captured by the Sandmen. The specific identity of our target is unknown, however the tower has already provided a means for us to locate the target. What we need to do is actually reach the target, avoid detection by the Sandmen, and then extract the target from the Dream realm."

While the phoenix gave a briefing, Liz looked around the room. The moment she was taken, she changed her appearance and hid her aura using both her suit and Nemo’s ability, just to be safe. It was a good thing she did because everyone in the room besides her was at the peak of the Celestial Immortal realm.

Eleven Celestial Immortals, and one mortal walk into the Dream realm on a rescue mission. The jokes practically wrote themselves.

Liz took out the compass given to her by Lex, and checked it. For now, the compass had not detected anyone. She just hoped that she’d be able to find the baby that Lex was looking for. Just imagining a baby all alone in this realm filled her with anxiety. Hopefully, everything would turn out fine.

Elsewhere in the Dream realm, Almira looked through the cage was in, and at the wolf in front of her oddly. For some reason, the wolf reminded her of uncle Lex’s pet, Fenrir. However, it was like a poor copy. While its aura was stronger, it lacked a certain depth of aura.
