The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Chapter 1518: Sisters Reunited

Chapter 1518: Sisters Reunited

To the rest of the world, the Elites Coffee Shop was just one of many establishments that served coffee all day round. After all, it was always open, and whether inside the Dark Space or the real world, their coffee tasted great.

Many love their coffee, and by extension, respect and admire the twins who run it.

What many did not know was that 600,000 years ago, a pair of twins was born to a small-scale farmer. They decided to abandon the life their father intended for them and chose to become warriors instead.

One chose to wield a spear, while the other chose a bow.

At first, as beings who lived on a planet where the strongest existence was merely a Saint, many didn’t really think much about them. However, it soon became clear what kind of monsters this small world had given birth to.

With the twins covering each other’s backs, they fought harrowing battles, and when their planet was threatened, they defended it, using every strength they could muster to protect all life in their world.

The day the World Awakening was conquered by the two of them, memories appeared in their minds.

Within those memories, the bow wielder saw a life in which she was called Makani, a very powerful archer whose arrows could traverse several light-years and take to reap the life of her targets

In that life, she saw that she had two sisters, one named Seiki, who lacked emotions, so whatever she felt like saying, she wouldn’t hold back. However, her spearmanship was the second-best Makani had ever seen.

The other sister was a sharp-tongued lady by the name of Kitty, whose sword was as sharp as her tongue. She had witnessed on multiple occasions how, with mere words, Kitty had made gods bleed from their eyes due to sheer anger.

On the other hand, her twin sister also saw her life as Seiki and how she was very happy despite lacking the feelings needed to understand what happiness felt like.

That day, when both of them opened their eyes, their cultivation bases, which were at the peak of the Nirvana Stage, rose all the way to the Immortal Lord Stage.

Many were stunned to witness this. However, they didn’t know that the twins they all knew weren’t the same anymore.

They had changed, and that change was due to the dark-haired man who had saved all three of them and raised them like his own sisters.

They admired, loved, and respected him to the point of being willing to do anything to make him happy. So, with their memories back and themselves alive once more, they decided to go out there and search for their third sister.

It took them many years, but they eventually found her, only to be shocked to the core.

Despite their sister ranking fifth on the Ancient Demigod Chart, the ranking for the strongest warriors on the foreign battlefield, she didn’t seem to remember them.

They tried many times to help her regain her memories. However, all attempts failed. Depressed, they decided to keep their distance and strengthen themselves instead.

They finally became the Supremes 10,000 years ago, but because they couldn’t become Celestials in this universe, they decided to take up a hobby while they waited for their big brother and love interest to be reborn.

They also left their third sister a message saying that when she finally regained her senses, she should come to their coffee shop.

Countless emotions flashed across Supreme Warrior Sayuri’s eyes as she locked gazes with the barista, who, despite her slightly different appearance, she knew was her Big Sister Makani.

Makani, who now went by the name Xenia, smiled and walked out from behind the counter. She spread her arms, motioning for Supreme Warrior Sayuri to come for a hug.

The customers in the coffee shop looked on with smiles on their faces as Supreme Warrior Sayuri jumped into Xenia’s arms.

For a moment, the air in the coffee shop was filled with love.

Many could tell this reunion had been set in motion for a very long time. So, as the two sisters hugged, they all had smiles on their faces.

There was nothing better than sisters reuniting, even if it was on a virtual plane.

Suddenly, a door on the side opened, and Xania walked out, her smile blossoming.

"Oh, looks like little Kitty has finally snapped back to her senses."

Xania may have been reborn, but emotions still eluded her.

Hearing her voice, Supreme Warrior Sayuri broke free from Xenia and jumped into the arms of the emotionless lady, who held a smile on her face even though she felt nothing from it.

She knew she was supposed to be happy, but while her body reacted, her heart remained cold. Yet the smile on her face alone was enough to tell everyone her true feelings.

A few minutes later, the three ladies topped everyone’s coffee before retreating to a room inside the coffee shop.

"How have you been?" Xenia, Makani’s incarnation, asked.

"Never better." Sayuri paused and took a deep breath. "I remember everything. I saw how it all ended."

Another sigh escaped her lips, and under the stunned gazes of the two ladies, Sayuri dropped to her knees.

"I am sorry, Big Sisters. It was all my fault that led to your deaths. I am sorry."

Xenia reached for Sayuri’s hand while Xania smirked.

"To think I died from the very weapon I wielded. What a disgrace."

Seiki had died from her own weapon. Her spear had been used by a Celestial to kill her.

She patted Sayuri’s back.

"Fear not. Your brother is still alive and different. Somehow, I think he has recovered his memories and might even be a mole planted in the Heavens Court by Lord Paragon."

Sayuri’s eyes widened.

"What?"

Xenia smiled.

"Xania is telling the truth. Your brother is now super terrifying, but also an angel. Somehow, he inherited or awakened an angel bloodline."

"But that is impossible. The only way that would have been possible is if someone had helped him." Sayuri’s eyes widened.

"Now, I know you have just recovered your memories, so allow me to tell you the legend of the Paragon. After we died, he reincarnated as the Paragon of War called Magnus, a vampire.

"Then he came back again as the Paragon of Elements called Kaden, and lastly, he returned as the Paragon of Beasts, hailed as the Star Monarch.

"From what we managed to gather, although he was a Beast Tamer, his blood could evolve even normal humans. This is known only to the Paragon’s inner circle.

"I think he met your brother and managed to save him. We met him once, and he recognized us, meaning he had Lord Paragon’s blood running through him."

Sayuri nodded, a tear falling from her eyes. She wanted to ask more questions about her brother, whom she had wanted to save back then, which ultimately led to their deaths. However, she stopped herself...

"I met Lord Paragon," Sayuri said, and the twins nodded.

"We know. He had recently snatched a treasure from a rising star called the Renegade Hunter. As expected of Big Brother Orion." Xenia and her sister smiled.

Sayuri narrowed her eyes at the twins and spoke firmly.

"Uhm, you don’t understand, sisters. The Renegade Hunter is Lord Paragon."

"WHAT?!"

Their expressions burst open in shock, and Xania, who felt no emotion, felt her heartbeat rise.

Just when they were about to ask more questions, alarms started blaring outside. As Supremes, they could send a part of their consciousness into the Dark Space while their bodies continued functioning normally outside.

"What is happening...?" Sayuri asked as her island rose back to the surface.
