Chapter 4546: A Bad Day

Divine Mother o-ooooo had been having a bad day. Mass fertilization was a tedious and unpleasant process for her. Nobody wanted to take on so many lustful male arakai at once, so she had been in a bad mood.

Then she got ambushed, which was even worse. But her day got even worse when the intruder violated the sanctity of her mind by rummaging through her memories. As a mental manipulator, it was humiliating.

She had thought she would win when they started dominating the Emperor of Water with the help of her two Divine Mothers after she started amplifying their Verses. But then suddenly, the Emperor started glitching.

And he started disappearing things out of reality.

She didn’t understand what was happening.

She had helplessly watched as —ooo— lost her web stinger, her arm, and her head before disappearing entirely. O—o followed suit immediately after, causing the two Divine Mothers to disappear completely.

She stared at the Emperor of Water in horror as he slowly turned towards her with red eyes glowing with power.

Even though his body was horrifically wounded, it magically healed in the blink of an eye. She could distinctly sense that it didn’t heal because of his healing factor. And she could sense that it didn’t heal because of his Verse either.

It just healed.

His attacks just randomly connected.

He just randomly moved faster than light.

And he could randomly make things disappear.

Everything that had unfolded minutes ago boggled her mind. As a Divine Mother, she had been exposed to all kinds of anomalies and miracles. But she had never, ever seen anything quite like this in her entire life.

Pure fear emerged in her six eyes as Rui moved towards her. "No! Don’t. Come. Here! Go. Away."

The Emperor didn’t seem to humor the request. She gritted her teeth before making a decision.

She deactivated her Webverse.

WHOOSH...

She began fading out of reality with a relieved expression, paying the price for Administration.

If she was going to disappear, then she would rather disappear on her own volition! She didn’t want to be disappeared through the scary magic that Rui had been casting. The sight of her headless sister’s struggling body still sent chills across her body. She had no idea where her sisters were. She didn’t even know if they were alive.

In comparison, the familiar disappearance of Transcendence was more comforting. For her, it would be a blink of an eye, so it wouldn’t be a bad experience.

Rui watched with an amused expression as the Divine Mother disappeared, shaking his head. "Coward."

Then again, that wasn’t the worst decision. The truth was that because of how crude his hyperdimensional solutions were, his Martialverse had consumed a tremendous amount of energy.

Breaking a door was much more tiring than unlocking it. But he didn’t have the knowledge to understand how to freely unlock the door when he needed to. It was only thanks to the incredible reality-warping power of the Martialverse that he was able to achieve what he achieved.

Each time he used it, he consumed almost four percent of his stamina. He couldn’t use it too many times. Even now, he had only eight percent of his metaphysical stamina left, causing his attention to return to his surroundings.

Planet Nest VII had long been shattered and now even its fragments were utterly pulverized. Rui distinctly remembered that this star system was infested with all kinds of astronomical infrastructure that spanned the entire star system. But much of that had been completely destroyed over the course of the battle, while the remaining had been damaged.

No living being had been able to survive such an intense conflict. Those that managed to evacuate in time survived. The remaining simply perished. There was a strange silence that hung in the air as he simply floated weightlessly in outer space, staring at the two blue giants.

They had managed to survive the battle, but he could see that they had been destabilized by it nonetheless. The interdiction field miraculously survived thanks to the Divine Mothers protecting it during the battle. But with them gone, it could no longer stop him.

What surprised him was that no other Divine Mother chose to arrive despite several seconds having passed with the disappearance of three Divine Mothers.

They were clearly spooked.

Disappearing was a very sensitive issue for Administrators. And Rui forcefully disappearing Divine Mothers to the point where even their information was gone was utterly terrifying. Even in his state, nobody wanted to face him until they understood what was happening.

"Cowards, the lot of you." He shook his head.

He could at least respect o—o and —ooo—. They were warriors. They knew that they could die or even disappear, but they came to the rescue of their sisters. Even if they wanted to destroy him and his civilization, he had a measure of respect for their courage.

The rest of the Divine Mothers who allowed their prime enemy and target to stand in their territory with no push back were disappointing to him.

RUMBLE

He activated a wormhole, tunneling through space with the negatron matter in his body, increased with the primordial core. Of course, the interdiction field resisted, but he used what little he had left of his Martialverse to allow space and time to flow to create the tunnel he needed.

He threw one last look at the star system behind him before walking through.

WHOOSH

The tunnel closed after he departed.

The battle had come to an end.

When he returned to Gaia, the moment he stepped out, he was done. His Martialverse shut down, having completely exhausted its stamina.

WHOOSH...

He faded out of reality after conducting the transfer.

In a secret underground facility, a cloned body hovering in a chamber, suspended by antigravity, opened his ethereal eyes.

"I have discovered a new Realm of power. I must investigate this power thoroughly. I might be able to not only take a huge step forward in my own power, but also strengthen all other Paths as well."

For the first time in a long time, he had found a Martial project that truly excited him in his heart.
