The Rise of the Black Plain

Chapter 2954: The Status of Minos' Inheritance

Chapter 2954: The Status of Minos' Inheritance

After a few days alone, Minos had sailed a long distance, having accomplished his goal of hiding the Throne of the Laws of Darkness and Light.

Today, he reached a part of the realm where it would only take him three days to reach his territory and return to his alliance's side.

Fortunately, nothing new had happened in his days after leaving the Abyssal Region.

Lydis seemed to be in the dark about Minos' success regarding the four thrones of the Abyssal Region. Meanwhile, the beings that Yin and Yang had talked about had not yet shown themselves.

So far, at least, everything seemed to be going smoothly for Minos.

But Minos didn't want to depend on luck. When he felt comfortable returning home, he stopped at a large coral reef abandoned by the natives of the realm, finding a secluded area where he could continue with his pre-return plans.

After checking the surroundings and making sure there was no being to disturb him there, he materialized his throne, nodding his head with a look of permission.

The Throne of the Law of Time understood what it had to do.

By ignoring the area where its master was, it distorted space and time, before beginning. "Master, which inheritance should we start with? Despite the difference in time between the start of each of them, they are all basically at the same phase."

Minos loved his wives equally. He would look after all of them, regardless of the order of things. But he chose to look first at the progress of the one he most believed would move the realm when he arrived.

"Show me the inheritance that Abby is taking part in."

The space around Minos changed, with the dark waters inside that coral losing their colors, with its surroundings losing all that water. Then, solid, brown walls take shape while a spiritual density much lower than that of the realm filled the environment.

This was one of the independent spaces stemming from the powers of Minos' throne!

This region was even more powerful than the strongest places Minos had passed through on his journey before entering Hell and the Upper Realm, but undeniably inferior to those two absolute dimensions.

There, anyone below level 125 would feel pressured, but they would also have great opportunities, capable of nurturing someone to even the 13th stage.

The throne spoke, causing colored screens to appear in front of Minos, showing several different scenes. "Her Excellency Abby Miller began her path to inheritance as early as level 125. Naturally, she wasn't a True Celestial at the time, so her gap with Devils and Divinities was quite large. As such, the challenges stimulated her a lot right from the start and her path so far, after 12324 days of testing, has been very fruitful.

Of the three most important inheritance phases, she completed the first two, being perfect in the first and having only one problem in the entire second phase. She eliminated a total of 645 opponents with her bare hands, but also influenced the fate of another 2,000 competitors. Of the latter, she helped a total of 11 beings, 7 of them natives of the same universe as her, but also 4 individuals belonging to other layers of reality.

Her strength after all this has increased and she should reach level 126 before entering the third and final phase of this inheritance. And when she advances, her strength won't be that different from that of a level 125 True Celestial, a feat I assume to say, is for less than 0.01% of the Celestials that have ever existed in the entire post-fall history of the Ancestral Realm."

Minos was impressed by the summary made by the throne. He couldn't help but look at the images of Abby vying with a twinkle in his eye and a smile drawn across his lips.

"But she has a great opponent for the last phase of the inheritance. That opponent is also close to a breakthrough and is currently preparing to face her when the rest period between the end of the second and the start of the third phase is over."

Minos' inheritances were different from the Devdar inheritance he took part in. They didn't allow their competitors to return to their places of origin until they had been eliminated. As such, from their inception until now, all the contestants who still had a chance were in the independent spaces of the inheritances, where at each final stage, they could enjoy months of rest and risk-free opportunities.

Minos saw Abby on one screen, but also the opponent his throne had warned him about.

He wasn't worried, nor did he want to interact with his wife.

'The best thing for Abby and the others now is to find their own paths. I've already done a lot by giving them so many chances.'

Minos felt satisfied and looked forward to the future, soon pointing to the throne to show him Gloria.

The surrounding space changed as Minos sat quietly on his golden throne.

This time he arrived in an entirely white dimension, where scenes of Gloria's battles and victories soon appeared in his field of vision.

The throne summed up Gloria's journey. "Your second wife advanced to level 125 after the first inheritance phase, which she completed with mastery. Naturally, given her affinity with the Law of Molecules, Her Excellency Gloria has been greatly favored by the conditions of this inheritance.

Right now, she is absorbing a molecular essence that could help her reach Her Excellency Abby's level at the end of the inheritance. Even with the difference that existed between them, she has a real chance of becoming as strong or stronger than Her Excellency Abby after a few more years of inheritance!

As for her achievements, you can see for yourself, my master."

Minos saw the massacres his red-haired wife had been involved in and he couldn't help but feel responsible for what she had done so far in this dimension.

Gloria had eliminated at least 10 times as many opponents as Abby had so far!

And from what the throne had told her, that had happened in half the time it had taken Abby to get where she was!

"... Her Excellency Gloria's inheritance should be the first to go, master. I honestly don't see any opponent capable of vying with her for the Law of Molecules. Unless a miracle happens, she has a 99% chance of success."

"That's wonderful. Gloria will certainly be an impressive Deity!" Minos said in joy, looking forward to the day when he would have them all by his side.

Finally, the throne showed him Segiel, the only one of the three he hadn't gotten a throne of supreme law.

Segiel had some compatibility with the throne of that inheritance and, given her top talent, was among the top players in the competition by the end of the second selection phase.

She had also advanced to level 125, having closed the cultivation gap with her other two harem sisters.

According to the throne, Segiel was the one it expected to take the longest to reach the last part of the inheritance.

"... I'm just not sure she'll get that throne at the end of the inheritance, my master. Her chances are only 27%."

Minos didn't care.

He wanted all his women to have the best possible results, but failure was also an option.

As the inheritances were entirely his, nothing bad would happen to any of them. And, in the end, he could still help Segiel in the future.

He looked at the woman he had met in Armhands and silently wished her good luck. But as he had done with Abby and Gloria, he didn't approach Segiel, not wanting to interfere.

Updated on the three inheritances, he returned to the interior of the dark coral he had chosen to look at the situation of his women.

Watching his throne slowly disappear, Minos thought of Yin and Yang and Ruth. 'Unfortunately, they're not compatible... Besides, it would be too risky for me to give that throne to one of my women. Who knows what Lydis can try when he finds out the truth.'

For the moment, Minos had no potential users for Yin and Yang in mind. Even among his other family members with the possibility of ascending to the Upper Realm through an inheritance, none of them seemed compatible or capable of bearing the risks of such an operation.

But Minos valued the potential of the Throne of the Laws of Darkness and Light too much to give up on having someone of his influence dominate such an existence.

His family in his home universe was already large, and he could still strengthen it. One day, he believed, someone from his lineage could take over that position!

As for the throne that could become Ruth's position in the realm, he planned to get it within the next few months.

"Let's go back to my city. Abby, Gloria, and Segiel should take at least a few more months of realm time to join my side. In the meantime, the faction needs to understand the dangers we will face in the future!"

After muttering such a thing, he left, heading in the direction of his territory.
